@nursemommy13 there are some good YouTube videos that will show you the difference between the regular city mini & the GT. The only reason I went with the GT is because I need the better wheels for pushing through the snow & slush. I almost wish I could have got the regular because I loved how light it is (the GT is heavier). It is a great stroller, but be warned the basket is very small and you can't really hang things on the handle because the stroller can tip back.
Welp, my van needs $500 worth of work. We have it, but I hate spending it. I would honestly rather have a car payment and get a new car and know everything is covered. We have had this one in so much over the last year and I hate never knowing how much I'm going to have to dish out. Plus, its our primary vehicle and the only one we all fit in. So, we're stuck until it's fixed.
Quick question - I know @subliminalrabbit posted a while ago about the City Mini stroller being on sale on amazon. Well it still is. And I'm kind of thinking about getting it. What's the difference between the City Mini and the City Mini GT (besides price)? And does the regular City Mini recline any? I like the stroller we have now, ONLY because it can recline and if M falls asleep while we are out, she can lay down to sleep. Thanks!
I haven't read all the words but the City Mini does recline all the way down.
Ha, the dates are a little off because I was born when my father was pretty young. Most people my age have parents 8-10 years older. Combined with the fact that my spouse is a decade younger than his sibling and we have a lot of age related wackiness over here.
I don't know what's up with E. This is the second night in a row that he's awoken at 11pm and really struggled to get back to sleep. Last night it took three hours and tonight's not looking much better. He's really twitchy and can't seem to get past that first phase of sleep into someplace deeper.
Any thoughts?
This is L the last 2 nights! He keeps waking up around 3a and and it's taking hours to get him back down and even then he'll only sleep in the bed with me. It's sweet and aggravating all at the same time. By the time he goes back down it's basically time for me to get up and get ready for work/get him ready for daycare. Mama needs to sleep too dude.
@catalinapink that is is definitely enough! I wouldn't throw a party and do a trip, it would be one or the other in my world. And I'm married to an only child who would say the same thing so if he says that, it's definitely OK!
@cl8badb that's a rather personal question.... :-p
iphone mobile app.
Hmmm maybe the app is different. I use the browser on my iphone and get crap ads!
yeah when I use the app the only ad that is visible i the one for medela, thats because medela is the sponsor of the app. I do get crazy adds though when im on my laptop or tablet.

that SUCKS! We are in the same dilemma with my car.

It super sucks!! What makes it bad is our van isn't paid off. It's a small payment, but we wouldn't quite break even with a trade in yet. And, I had to put money into it right after Thanksgiving too. So, H and I said that I'll just start making bigger payments so if nothing else we won't be upside down trading it in. Then we can hopefully look for something else. It's nice not having a car payment, but it stinks once you have to start dumping the money back into the car. In large chunks.
You guise it's so hard bumping lately! If my kid sees my phone he dives for it every time. I can't talk, text, or bump without fighting to keep it away from him. Kind of funny and kind of annoying.

we have had to put in about a thousand dollars every year for a few years. I just don't like thinking the car in unreliable. My DH's car still has car payments so until we are done with those my car will have to do. It would be hard with three kids though, hopefully nothing else goes wrong and you can get a good trade in!

This is why I can only bump at work! Lo even knows when it's behind his head while nursing and does a backwards hand whack while trying to bite me. "I WANT ALL THE ATTENTION MOMMY!"

Ugh yah. I know that it's cheaper overall, but it stings dishing out a large amount all at once. H's car doesn't have a payment. But, it's pretty much a point A to point B vehicle. He can't even put the kids in it. So, the van being our primary vehicle it makes it hard. I was praying the whole time I was driving that it would just make it to the dealer... with the kids in the car. Not the most fun ever. Lol.
@calikat80 Same here. If I try to bump while bottle feeding in the MOTN, he sees the phone light out of the corner of his eye and grabs at it. Same with computers, iPads, and remotes. I try to distract him with other things but he wants nothing to do with them. He only wants what he's not supposed to have.
PSA my friends daughter bit into a Tide pod. Please keep your little ones away from pods if you use them! I refuse to have them in my house.
Shes ok now but ended up in the hospital bc she swallowed detergant.
My opinion on this... she could have just as easily swallowed actual detergent if it was within her reach. Keep cleaners where kids can't get to them. Problem solved.
eta- That sounded way more dickish than I meant it to.

I'm afraid to take my free hand off of my phone to check and see if this is true.
So Ben is still not feeling well. Progressed to a 101 temp and stage 5 clingerville, and has pooped 3 times today! Poor baby and poor mommy's back.
