B actually settled down to nurse tonight. I was stroking his tiny, pink shell of an ear and started thinking of all the things that ear would hear. Laughter from his friends, his family telling him he is loved, maybe bullies being cruel. One day someone (outside his family) whispering that they loved him. I was full on weeping.

Sorry for the sappiness, being a mom just knocks me on my emotional ass sometimes.

@Lizzybizzy80 I do that too when Jocelyn is asleep on me, just watch her and think of her growing up, getting to do stuff with her, etc and then turn into a blubbering mess

@nursemommy13 we love our city mini it is probably my favorite baby item we bought as of yet. It's so easy to get in and out of the car and it does recline all the way. I just have the regular not GT and it's great for shopping and walks. Do it!

@subliminalrabbit this is a shot in the dark but Grayson started doing the same thing and I started giving him a bottle before bed. He seemed to fall asleep on the breast really quick and I knew he wasn't getting really full. Now I get him to finish his whole bottle and its helped a lot. Is E nursing well before bed. Is he waking at 11 to eat or just awake?

I just caught up with 8 pages of this thread. Phew! I am smitten with Bruno Mars after last night. He is just adorable and so talented. And he seemed like a genuinely charming guy on SNL a while back. I have always loved the peppers, their concert during the californication your was the first time I felt high on music, as cheesey as that sounds. I am only talking about the halftime show because the game was so pathetic.
Oh and now that my baby baby is sleeping better at night with only one wake up at 3:30ish, my first baby decides to start getting up overnight and needing snuggles. At least I fit in his twin bed and it's comfy?

Same here. It's all about Mommy when we're home and it's hurting Dh's feelings haha. He has no trouble getting dropped off at daycare but at home I need to be within touching distance at all times.
