56 days and 2 BFN....just need to vent

So, I'm about 56 days since my last AF.  I took two HPT and got BFN!!!!  It's just frustrating cause I'm the girl who is on WebMD if anything is ever out of wack.  I've been dealing with an ankle injury since August and I still don't agree with the doctors.  So now that I can't figure out why I didn't get my period it's very irritating.  The DH (who is right next to me and giving me that "you're so silly" look) thinks I'm freaking out over nothing.

    Maybe she is waiting for more responses before she says anything? I didn't reply to this post because I thought your response was excellent and didn't think anything else needed to be said.

    I thought @joy2611 response was right on!  Follow what she said and you should have a better idea of what's going on with your body.

    The more we think about the thought of being pregnant, the more our bodies try and trick us into thinking that we are. That's how it is for me at least. After I was 27 days late for my period on my previous cycle with 5 negative pregnancy tests, I had to sit back and tell myself  to calm down a bit. "I am not pregnant, I'm not trying to get pregnant, I have only had sex 1 time this month and It is just not happening." I think when you focus your mind on something else, your body will return to normal. I got my period 3 seconds after taking that last pregnancy test. I'm not saying you're not pregnant, I'm just saying for my own sanity, I had to step back and leave the subject alone. Hope I helped a bit.

    I'm sorry it took me so long to respond.  I don't get on her as often as I like, and when I read your response I was right in the middle of cooking for the super bowl and my husband was pestering me.  I really appreciate your response; it really did help alot.  I scheduled a doctor appointment for tomorrow morning.  With my luck I am just giving myself the symptoms.  I've been cramping for several days now, and was having issues sleeping last night with back pains and nausuea. 

    Again thank you all for responding.  I'm getting the book tonight so I can start reading it in between editing session on my manuscript.
