So I have been gone for all of 2 days and come back to over 800 posts... still playing catch up!! I've missed you guys!!! Who else had their LO, jeez I got to read faster
I really dislike the cost of fresh produce in the winter. I am loving strawberries right now but I hate how expensive they are in my area.
Do you belong to SAMs or something like that? I find because of their buying power the winter is the only time their produce is cheaper than the store. (As long as you can eat it in bulk)
No but I should! I will see if I can talk DH into getting me a membership. I think $5/lb of strawberries is a little ridiculous.
We became members because the gas was so much cheaper. We use it for meats (frozen in two person sized packs) and paper goods. Milk is surprisingly cheaper there too but that might be a regional thing. Totally worth the $45!
Fuck no! Now is a GREAT time to decorate for spring! If anyone looks at you funny, just remind them the baby is due in APRIL and you need to be prepared I think my apartment is going to be a weird Valentine/Easter mix for the next 6 months. I don't care--I'm just getting ready for my little Easter bunny
Just saw a preview for Dr Phil where a girl keeps faking pregnancy... But she legit looked pregnant; more pregnant than I do even. I hate that show but now I'm so curious I have to watch. Ugh.
For all the lurkers who just want to find out what the RTT is all about (pretty boring stuff huh?), you would be missing out if you didn't see the chicken titties:
Have an OB appt in an hour. Can't wait! (She uses an u/s machine to check heartbeats). I am off to shower---yes, she and my MFM are the only people I shower for these days.
Good luck!
I am off to my appointment too...no u/s for me though but I will get my GTT results back
GTT? (Sorry) Good luck! Update us when you get back, please. I find out my GD results, trying not to think about it.
I'm seriously done with today. I wonder if anyone would notice if I suddenly left at 3, lol... I have stuff to do!
Side note, anyone have any rec's on a good support tank top to wear so this almost-mom's back doesnt snap? I got one from Target and it isnt supportive enough, its made out of like, shaprewear material.. I need more than that!
Well, shit. They hired a new manager chick while I was out with the flu last week, and she is super pushy and ambitious... Had a giant list of complaints after her first week of observation, including that the servers should have some sort of uniform. Um, settle down, lady. This is a local eclectic cafe that is known for its quirkiness. I may have let her know that, and that we already have a dress code and what it is thank you very much.
Guess who no longer fits in a single collared black shirt and has to be to work in an hour? I should have kept my big mouth shut and told my threatened ego to take a hike.
I've been here at the house all day. I walk past the front door and notice a note stuck to the glass. Apparently our storm shelter got its final inspection today. Not sure how that happened since it's in the garage which is closed and no one rang the doorbell.....
I guess we'll find out if it's in the properly if we ever need it.
Aw: No diabetes! A little anemic, was asked to switch to Rx prenatals and take an iron supplement. I was asked to stop working (but okayed to keep going for a couple more weeks). Boys look good, Patrick is head down again (yay)! Measuring 35 weeks
So it's a little bittersweet, but I got the notice from DS1's preschool today that he will be automatically enrolled in Kindergarten for next September, once his immunization/ physical info is updated. Hard to believe that he's going to be five in just a couple of months, but to imagine him as a kindergartner, is especially wild. Five years had gone by very quickly!

Aww, total memories from this time last year when I was enrolling my youngest in Kindergarten. 5 years goes way too fast!
I need wegmans to deliver, donuts ice cream and a sub.
I miss Wegmans so much!
I forget not everyone has wegmans around them. I'm sorry everyone not in New York, they're a pretty awesome grocery store. Which I also want cookies delivered from.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...

I will have a kindergartner too! We are homeschooling, so while I don't have to get her registered for school, I do have to start buying her curriculum.
~Missed MC at 8 weeks. D&C at 12 weeks on 4/17/13~
So last night I woke up a few times only to fall back into the same dream where I cried every time I had to kill somebody... My 14 yr old is upset she won't make it into high school next year... my eyes are red and puffy from crying... I keep telling myself just 11 more weeks....UGH!

I give you a lot of credit! Homeschooling is a huge undertaking in my mind, especially at a young age, where they need to learn everything! I used to teach high school, and I always say I could never do Early Childhood Ed because there is so much to cover, while maintaining a love of learning. I'm honestly not disciplined enough to homeschool, so my hat's off to you.

The first time I went there they were doing the mini golf event and ever since then I've been in love with Wegmans.
Holy shitballs. I have had mad cravings for sour patch kids, but my pancreas will not cooperate enough for me to eat them. Look what the husband found at Target. He needs to get home now! Hopefully he got more than one pack...

I'm saving the FFFC thread for after I flip to the dryer so I can really settle in with some popcorn and get into it
