    Omg it must've been in the air last night. DH told me "it's all your fault, but it will be okay" and put his hand on my cheek. I asked him this morning what I did and he doesn't remember a thing. I guess I'll never know.

    Hmm.. I've always filed with both turbotax and taxslayer and taxslayer has always given us a significant amount more. I guess I'll just stick with what I know! Thanks everyone! :)

    Basically, yes, it's a good idea to file together unless you have a reason to think your spouse will have tax issues and you don't want to be linked to it. Your tax rate is better if you file together as well.

    Ugh, I have to find a new accountant here to do my taxes. I make less than most of my colleagues, since I don't teach, and somehow, I'm paying 6 times as much. I was basically told my accountant sucks. hehehe.

    We always use Turbo Tax- quick and easy. Ours is super easy, one W2 and we rent our house, so I have everything done and filed in less than an hour.

    Yeah DH is weird in his sleep. He sleepwalks, sleep talks, and the other night he kept squeezing my stomach. This was the first time I heard him laughing and it was actually kinda creepy...
    I yell at my DH in my sleep a lot apparently, and have occasionally whacked him. Pent up anger methinks? At least he's a good sport about it and laughs and tells me about it when I'm awake.

    Another concert tonight. A friend of mine came over to help put up the Ikea closet he brought. He neglected to mention he was bringing his twin step daughters. I can't say much since he is helping DH with the closet (its just very tall, so, not a one person job). But still, I'm really terrible with other people's kids. Everyone keeps saying "oh, this is just practice." Well, I'm pretty sure I won't suddenly give birth to 5 year old twin girls, so, I don't think this is really practice. Also, they don't understand english and my icelandic isn't good enough and our poor cat is so terrorized. Am I really going to be a bad parent because I'm having trouble with other people's kids?

    ETA Also, I really want ice cream now. Like NOW, but, I'm not dumb enough to know I can get it out and expect not to share. Maybe if I knew they were coming and staying for 5 hours I wouldn't feel like a bad pre-parent?

    I really dislike the cost of fresh produce in the winter. I am loving strawberries right now but I hate how expensive they are in my area.

    Do you belong to SAMs or something like that? I find because of their buying power the winter is the only time their produce is cheaper than the store. (As long as you can eat it in bulk)

    No but I should! I will see if I can talk DH into getting me a membership. I think $5/lb of strawberries is a little ridiculous.
