So I went to a new neurologist yesterday. Looking for answers, as always. I will be having a EMG next month and they are going to do genetic testing on me. And have me start PT and OT again. He wants to try and keep what muscle I have left. And he talked about a few other tests he would like to do. Let's hope we can find some answers.
I finally got a good night sleep last night and that has left me...wanting more sleep! Glad it's Friday. They are talking potential cancelled school on Monday due to cold weather. A 3 day weekend would be nice but that cancelled day would have to be made up at the end of the school year while I am on leave...unpaid.

Not stew, per se, but I like to throw a roast that I've seared into the crock pot with a bunch of sliced baby bellas, salt & pepper, and half a bottle of cabernet sauvignon. Could easily throw in potatoes and carrots as well. Liquid left over after solids are pulled out gets simmered with Worcestershire sauce and flour to make a gravy.
Or, chicken titties + cream of chicken soup + chicken stock + poultry seasoning, then torn up biscuit dough from a Pillsbury can during the last hour for dumplings.
HAHAHAHAHA chicken titties....
Quoting this because it deserves to be on more pages.
Please tell me that I am not the only one that envisions someone walking around holding her placenta still attached to her every time you read the "I hate my placenta" title? It's her baby's placenta that she hates, right?

Seriously. Every time. I wish I could edit it.
Have you heard of Lotus Birth? You don't cut the baby's umbilical cord and wait until it detaches on it's own, thus having to carry the placenta around for about a week. To each his own I guess.
@fireflygirl12 It will definitely help since we wont have to rely on trading in our current car. With his raise we will be able to have 2 car payments as long as the new one is reasonable

The Boys names up for grabs thread makes me want to TP someone because our name is on it. Gee I'm so glad you tossed aside our name so we're free to use it..,because you own the name. Had you not thrown it out there for me to "grab" I wouldn't be able to use it!! Gasp!!!
Sorry I'm still having contraction and have a horrible headache and I feel like being a total stabby bitch today. Not to you RTT ladies tho!

Not bitchy. That thread irratated the shit out of me. Free to a good home? Gee fucking thank you!
Agreed....the tone of the thread was really off putting. Was it supposed to be a list of approved supposedly second rate names?
Or was it someone reaching for attention.... So tell us since these are all second rate names... What fantastic name did you actually come up with!?!?
My friend who is also due in April is coming over this morning and I had to choose between getting food or cleaning. I think she won't mind the clutter when she sees this:
@poru - my toddler totally house egg salad all the time last summer, lol! Although I don't know if he would touch it now. I have been sort of craving it, but haven't wanted to put in the effort of making it, and wegman's hasn't had any when I've looked recently. They make a REALLY good egg salad.
I generally love egg salad!! In the first tri I had a terrible egg salad sandwich and can't bring myself to eat one again. Total sad panda.
Now I really feel like a brat. In my FFFC I said I was waiting to hear about DH's cousin's baby to see what they named her. (They did pick the same name, but that's besides the point). Apparently the baby is healthy but they couldn't stop the bleeding with mom and they almost took her ute. She lost a lot of blood. Very scary. They just got it to completely stop this morning and she delivered on Wednesday.
I have a question about filing taxes. We normally file through taxslayer and have always done pretty well with them but can anyone else recommend anything better to go through? Is it worth taking our W-2s to a place like H&R block and have them do it, even though we are only doing a simple return?
@j&nl I normally do mine online at h&r and turbo tax just to double check that they are coming up with the same thing and then just file with one or the other. My dad is a CPA and could do it but he always gets the same numbers for me. H&R and turbo are free for most military ranks
I got my very first bloody nose EVER this morning! Yay pregnancy! Yay dry winters! I know that's kinda gross and "whatever" but I think to go 23 years without a nosebleed is pretty impressive.
I've gone 25. Which I also think is impressive! I will freak if it ever happens to me.

Thanks @Vinny424 I feel like I should send something or do something but I'm not even sure if we should know. Usually DH's side of the family is very quick to spread the word, but we haven't heard a word from anyone in that immediate family. The only reason we found out is because his mom got a text from his aunt. I don't even have the phone number of anyone to call. They aren't super close and we usually use a private fb group to keep in touch.
Any ideas on what I should do? Should I send something in a few weeks maybe? His mom didn't have all the details but made it sound like she wasn't leaving the hospital soon.

We've always had great experience with the free version of Turbotax, we usually had our return in 2 weeks if it was direct deposit.

@J&NL if it's just a simple return and you don't have a ton of deductions or claims, then Turbotax or whatever program is just fine. -your friendly neighborhood tax paralegal
What is the best way to go about deciding whether to file married or separately? We got married in February last year.. Is it always a great idea to file together?
I didn't even think of that @Mamamonzo! That has to be the reason for the list of rejects.
And I couldn't help it either after you commented @jellysparkles! Oh well.
Oops... I may have just stirred the pot more.
You would think an elementary school teacher would know how to properly use the right form of "your" in "you're welcome."
No. I know an elementary school teacher who just got her very first teaching position and says "hisself." What!? No! Not a word! That's one of the first things you learn in grammar.

--- I use the turbo tax free version and always just do it both way married filing joint, and married filing separate and go with what will give us the most. In the three years I've been married, I've always gotten more back doing joint.

Yikes I'm feisty
And I was worried about the stupid name...
I dream that he dies/leaves me all of the time... But that moment didn't seem appropriate to share that with him...
