Born/raised/currently live in Indiana. But we're currently getting rid of shit and looking for housing/jobs in the Oregon/Washington area. Our goal is to be out there sometime next year. I cannot wait.
And with this bit of information guess where I'll be road tripping to in the next year......
Hooray! It'll be awesome!
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

Am I the ONLY Seattle-ite here?!?!?!?!! I feel all alone. LOL!
I would LOVE to live in Seattle. DH and I seriously considered it about 2 years ago, but our finances weren't lining up so it didn't happen. Maybe one day...

I live in CO, high up in the thin air of the Rocky Mountains. I'm never leaving.
@LindsRockies - H's company headquarters are in Boulder. Every time he goes out there, they offer him a position and I would love to work at U of Boulder. We dream about it how amazing it would be and then snap out of it when we look at the cost of homes.
Born and spent early years in Texas, moved to Tennessee for middle and high school (where my family still lives), moved to Florida for college plus a few more years, lived in New Zealand for a few months, now living in Oregon. We will be moving again shortly...hopefully to New England area, so I will be consulting this thread again to see who's there and to bug you with questions.
I just skimmed this but are there really no other Wisconsinites?
I was born in North Carolina. I moved to south east Wisconsin before I was a year old and lived there until I was 19. Then moved to Arkansas. 23 now and moving back home in a few months!
@mander82, it was the best part time job ever. I loved working for them. Just couldn't do it anymore because they wanted us to start skating & clean the ice when Consol opened, and l couldn't skate. I was bummed but it was great while it lasted!!
Central Florida! I have a love-hate relationship with this place. Most of DH's family lives in CT, I would love to live there!
Noooo!!!!!!!! You would choose Connecticut over Florida?! Don't get me wrong, if I were really that unhappy here, then I would move. And I'm lucky that we live in a great town - beaches, parks, lots of restaurants, access to arts, universities etc. BUT, the winters can be so bitter/cold/gray sometimes.
I love the fact that there are seasons there, and I love the feel of all the historical places. Granted I've never visited during the winter. I've always dreamed of living somewhere in New England, but I doubt we'll ever leave Florida.

Awww...bummer ! I thought maybe you were one of the "snow bunny" girls that looks like so much fun! I cannot ice skate either, I tried once and didn't do very well. I really should make DH go and learn with me though, it looks like it would be some great exercise!!

@mander82: Snow bunny!? Lol never heard of that term. I was a Pens Patrol girl though if we're talking official title,... Bahaha. And yes great exercise. I wanted to be able to do it so bad and just couldn't. I was so so slow. But great exercise.
Ha Ha....honestly I am not sure what they are called. I mean the girls and guys that clean the ice during the game, when the TV goes to commercials. They use plastic shovels, scrapers and big garbage cans to scrape the excess "snow" from the ice. We call 'em snow bunnies, but maybe thats just us
