    I think i have discovered the id of a former AE based solely on the way she talks (or types i guess) but it's so random and if it wasn't her i would feel super bad bc i actually like her.

    It was my first guess but then i kind of forgot about it but as time goes on and i read her posts the types of words she chooses to use are very similar to that of an old AE and they just have the same "vibe". i'm not gonna call her out bc it's really just a guess and im just hoping it's not actually her.

    I'm not so much interested in who you think it is, but what "old" AE? Like pregnancy days AE? Which one?

    @gavel did this "old" AE go back and forth from different boards? I recall someone on May13 who would talk about similar things...and ended up being kicked out. Basically, the same exact thing- talking about SAHM vs. WMs.

    Since I only know what she tells me, it very well could have been gradual, and she just didn't realize it. It just felt sudden to her. They hadn't had any of the obvious signs of trouble like fighting and all. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there were less obvious signs, like becoming distant, that she just didn't pick up on right away.  We see what we want to see!
    I am the one being selfish. I told him I need space. Its a serious issue for us and I really believe iI need to be happy before I can be happy with him. Or anyone. I wil. Admit its selfish, good thing I didn't marry you. Surprisingly he supports me because he wants me happy.

    You know what, when I originally responded to PPH's post, saying that I somewhat agreed with her, I was letting my own experiences and relationship cloud how I felt about the issue. I was imagining how I would feel if in the future DH ever wanted a divorce and didn't want to work at it. But really that's my situation and not others, and without knowing how others might feel or what they might experience, I shouldn't make blanket judgments.

    I still stand by what I said as it comes to my marriage. But one size doesn't fit all.
