chlamydia experience?

Did your treatment work? What were your symptoms? And how long did you have it? I took the pills but I still have symptoms. I'm currently waiting for results again because I retested for it. I waited a week before me and husband had sex again. Now I've looked up and some say wait two weeks? I've had it for three years without knowing, I'm so worried about my baby

    I have been with my boyfriend for two years. Before that I was with a ex for one year. I left him because he was cheating. Well I was just told that he got clamydia from a girl at the time I was with him. My current boyfriend was clean when I got with him. He's not a cheater and I'm his second. I didn't have any symptoms. Chlamydia can go undetected for a long time because of that. though when I was tested for it at my prenatals I had symptoms for a short while, I'm guessing because I had it for so long. I thought they were jus pregnancy symptoms

    3 years!! That's a long time and doesn't it lead to fertility issues if un diagnosed for more than a year?

    No papa until I got pregnant. I didn't have any symptoms if anything until now, I thought I was clean. Birth control? I wanted to have this baby

    Yes we got that from my neice because her mother wouldn't take her to the hospital to figure out what was going on. they thought it was excema. I don't know what that has to do with this?

    This has to be MUD.  I had a friend in college that got it from a boyfriend and if I remember correctly her symptoms were gross.  My ex husband was a cheater and at my yearly appointments I had the doctor run all of the tests they could just to be on the safe side.  Maybe OP didn't care enough to get tested to make sure the cheater didn't leave her any lovely parting gifts, but whatever.  Plus they check for it at one of the first OB visit when you find out you're pregnant.  How would OP just now be receiving treatment?  Again with the MUD!

    Look it up. A lot of people dont get symptoms that's why it's called the silent disease. I was tested earlier on. That's when I found out I had chlamydia. I went today to get REtested because I was worried treatment didn't work.

    Ok? I don't know why I would post about scabies if I didn't have it? I never even knew it existed until my neice was diagnosed. And why would I make up shit about chlamydia? I came looking to see if anyone had experience because I'm going through it

    Yes I did. My ex was confirmed to have chlamydia. I just recently found out he had it from when I was with him when he cheated.

    So this might seem like a stupid question, but did your boyfriend/husband/fiance/whatever you call him get tested for and treated for chlamydia at the same time you were going through treatment?  Cause if not he could have reinfected you.  Maybe I'm over thinking this.

    I didn't have a doctor because I had no insurance. So I didn't have yearly papsmears. I was treated for it when I found out during my first trimester. I don't think it worked because I still have slight pain. So I got retested for it and I'm waiting for the results

    What doctor would treat without testing? That makes no since.
    My doctor gave me pills for him to take as well so I wouldn't get reinfected. He didn't need to be tested. It's protocol
