@valstulas me too. Wanna be resolution buddies? I'm shooting for 100lbs in a year and having 0 credit card debt by 12/31/14. Our vehicles and DH student loans get paid off in 2015. At which point we have the house and my student loans left and an extra 1100/mo. I can't wait.
@valstulas and @kaylakim I'm in the same place. I'm a firm believer in 100-100 in a relationship. My DH is even doing 25. He had the nerve yesterday to ask why I never give him blow jobs or have sex anymore. I asked him why he doesn't try with our relationship anymore or show his love. He said I should know about his love. And I told him that I don't know. I honestly think he is trying to annoy me enough for me to leave him.
My FFFC: I haven't shaved anything (besides underarms) in almost 3 months. We aren't doing anything anyway, and it's a pain in the ass. Judge away.
@fayga I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. Please take care of yourself and call your doc asap.
@fabkThat was so not cool of your sister. I've definitely put on a few pounds the last few weeks and have been thinking I look like I could be pregnant. So glad no one has said anything to me. I'm joining everyone else in the cliche get fit/loose weight New Year's resolution.
My FFFC: I'm so ready for my family to leave. I desperately need my space back. Five adults, one baby, and a 60 lb lab do not make for a comfortable time in my two bedroom condo. Not sure what happened to that hotel room my mom was going to get.
My FFFC- I spent an obscene amount of money on a Michael Kors bag yesterday. DH and I both decided we would spoil ourselves with something we really wanted. He got new golf clubs and I got the bag of my dreams. I love her.
@valstulas and @kaylakim I'm sorry you're having trouble with your dhs. Raising babies is really difficult and I can only imagine how much more difficult it is without the support from your dhs.
@fayga please get the help you need. I resisted starting ppd meds and wish I hadn't. There is nothing wrong with stopping bfing, especially if you need different meds. If you know what helps you, consider doing it. You're a great mom, you shouldn't have to feel bad.
My fffc- we let A CIO last night. He cried (not screaming) for 40 minutes, then slept for 5 hours! He woke up, fussed for 15 minutes, slept for 2 hours. I fed him at 5, and he slept for another 2.5 hours! He went from waking every 1.5 hours to only twice total. And he was back to being his happy self this morning. I know we still have hard days ahead, but I think we're on the right path.
@MrsErinH - thx! (Bet I'll forget again next week lol). Mine - I really don't like UO threads, they make me anxious. I don't like seeing my internet friends going at it and I don't always agree and am afraid to jump in because I don't want anyone to get mad at me! There's enough drama IRL, I like rainbows and butterflies in my internet life as much as possible lol.
Another confession: I'm at work today and no one else is here. I have work to do but it won't take me all day. I brought my cell phone charger so I could bump and play candy crush all day without worrying about my phone dying
Merry Christmas, all. We were away for the holiday so I wasn't able to bump. Hope that everyone enjoyed their time with family and friends who are like family!
My FFFC - E got a Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas and I can't stop smelling it. It smells like baby powder and childhood memories. Luckily, I have some time to keep smelling until she's old enough to play with it.
My FFFC. I'm disapointed in the gifts DS got from our parents. My dad and SM got him a jumperoo but other than that there's nothing else fun for him. MIL & FIL got him a few small plastic books. The truth is DH and I had/have no money to spend on any presents on anyone including DS. I think I was hoping out parents would spoil him more. Nothing was even wrapped so we couldn't watch him get excited about ripping paper. DS is happy and healthy so I need to put on my big girl panties and get over it
Don't be disappointed. Kids this age are totally entertained by little things around the house, and soon pots and pans with a wooden spoon will be the best toy. Honestly, your LO is just as happy as he would have been with a pile of colorful plastic stuff under the tree.
This exactly! Corri is nearly four and has a shiitton of toys and an iPad and still can be found in my kitchen playing with Tupperware several times a week, lol!
I have already cried twice today that B is six months. It means his first birthday is closer than he is to being a newborn. Damn emotions. And because Im an AW, a picture of him at 4 days old and today.

Omg. I just realized that as well! My baby will a year old in 6 months (almost)... I might cry.
Oct. 2012: Clomid + Ovidrel = Baby A born 07.17.13 at 38 wks!
Other ladies have already covered this much more eloquently than I would right now, but I wanted to add (((BIG HUGS!!))) to @valstulas and @kaylakim and @fayga and @mamasighs.
And @fayga - I kept pumping for probably at least 2 months after I should have reasonably quit. I understand how hard it is to give that up. But you really do need to do what's best for you, your baby, and your whole family, and I don't think that continuing to EP is what's best, especially if you have a big freezer stash. Take care of yourself!

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Mine: I'm disappointed in my gifts from DHs grandma. She gave me a cozier for I don't have a clue what, a calendar-I like it, a magazine for sewing-that's fine, a peeler...... .... A hand calander (she got it from someone in ohio). I know it's the thought that counts but it's like she just went through her odds and ends drawer and took that stuff and put it in my bag.
My FFFC: I just finished cleaning my bathroom for the first time since last winter. Now before my dismal housekeeping gets side-eyed, there is an explanation. DH and I have always split household chores fairly equally and he usually is the one who cleans the bathroom. He does a really good job with it and wouldn't hear of me being around cleaning chemicals (even though I have homemade cleaning supplies too) while pregnant then I was put on bed rest on top of it, hence the lengthy time since I last did that particular chore.

@valstulas@kaylakim@fayga@mamasighs I just want to send hugs to all of you......personally I always find that this time of year makes any issues more pronounced......
I have nothing yet this morning, but it's early and I'm sick.....I'm sure I will come up with something!!
hugs to all of you! I think Karen's right, the holidays are like a magnifying glass on the little cracks in relationships. Even though BF is the man for me (woohoo cliché!) ever since LO has arrived we have to talk things through what seems like double the time. So much more argument fodder.
I worked yesterday and DH had off so it was literally only the second time he has been alone with both kids all day since LO was born. I was super busy at work and didn't get our until 8pm. I turned on my phone and had messages from DH that he took LO to hospital because he fell while using the baby carrier and landed on her! I was really worried (she's fine!). My FFFC: a part of me was mad at him for hurting her and was like WTF DH?! You can't even watch the kids while I'm working?! I feel like a mega bitch because I know it was an accident and it could have just as easily been me. I hate that I sometimes think DH is less competent then I am when it comes to the kids.
As of January 1, I'm training to run my 5th marathon in April. I plan to run with my baby (we have a sweet ass jogging stroller). I think I may be BSC.
