How far along are you? What is your fruit/veggie?  23 weeks, Grapefruit!

How are you feeling? Ok, I'm starting to physically feel more run down. I'm not sure if its just that this is because my body has done this a few times but I'm already feel pressure in my bum and pelvis after walking around for a while as if I were already late in the 3rd tri.

Upcoming appointments, milestones, etc? 24 week appointment next monday

Any questions you'd like to ask? No questions

GTKY: What Holiday/Christmas traditions are you looking forward to? Well Bernard our elf has made his appearance and DD and even more excited about him this year than she was last. I love that looking for him is the first thing she wants to do in the morning. I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve service at our church and coming home and opening out new pj"s, this is a tradition I've carried on for growing up....and of course baking cookies for Santa!

-I'm feeling pretty good.  Baby is becoming more active and I can definitely tell when it's awake vs sleeping.
-Our new stroller arrived a few days ago.  DH set it up right away.  It's one of the few new things we're getting for LO2 so we're pretty excited!
-GTKY:  DH and I both grew up celebrating St. Nicholas Day so we've enjoyed passing on that tradition to DD.  We also started Elf on the Shelf this year which has been fun as well.

  • I am currently 23 weeks, and I guess I have a grapefruit this week.

I'm feeling alright. I have been having Braxton Hicks a lot this weekend, which is more annoying then anything else. My blood pressure seems to be fine now. No more super low readings. I have been trying to drink a lot more water these days.

My appt isn't until the 31st. I wish it was sooner.

I don't have any questions this week.

We have a couple different traditions, nothing to exciting. We do this thing called Snowflake Lane, there are drummer boys, and snowmen, holiday music and then it snows (tiny bubbles). It's silly but it brings tears to my eyes every year.

How are you feeling? Pretty decent. I have been having problems with sciatica some days though. The pain in my lower right back gets really bad and sends a shooting pain down my leg and my foot goes numb. Supposedly it is pretty common though and it seems to be getting better finally. I also have had some period like cramping lately but I started drinking more water and that also seems to be improving.

Upcoming appointments, milestones, etc? next appointment is in 2 hours! I can't wait! I really hope I get to hear the baby's heartbeat again today.

Any questions you'd like to ask? Have any of you pre-registered at your hospital yet? I am hoping I get my form at today's appointment.

GTKY: What Holiday/Christmas traditions are you looking forward to? All of them! I love this time of year. Rob Your Neighbor game at work and also at my Parent's house on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning presents and just being with family and friends. :) Crazy to think that next Christmas we will all have babies around 8 months old!

  • How far along are you? What is your fruit/veggie? I'm 23 week along and my fruit is a grapefruit.

How are you feeling? I'm feeling great!  My energy is back, almost all of my food aversions are gone (expect for bell peppers, the smell of them still make me sick to my stomach), and I'm constantly in a good mood. I couldn't be better!

Upcoming appointments, milestones, etc? I have a check-up doctors appointment tomorrow.  I'm curious to see how much weight I've gained since last month.  Although I don't feel or really look bloated my belly has certainly grown!

Any questions you'd like to ask? Is anyone else starting to find it hard to breath/have shortness of breath?

GTKY: What Holiday/Christmas traditions are you looking forward to? We (Hungarians) have a tradition where our Christmas trees are adorned with "szaloncukor" or "salon/parlor candy".  Basically it's candy wrapped in festive foil paper. Well the tradition is that the children of the family sneak and eat the candy, then re-wrap the ornament and place them back on the tree... empty. After all of the presents are opened, everyone takes a few candies to enjoy... only to discover they're all empty.  It's so much fun... the kids think they're being sneaky and the adults (who expect it to happen) laugh and joke about being 'duped' once again.   This year we're hosting the family Christmas at my house... and I can't wait for all of my nieces and nephews play this awesome prank on us.
