We've had a lot of cheese questions lately and I'm food-obsessed. Give me your top three cheeses in order of deliciousness. Please feel free to provide detailed descriptions of your favorite way to nom it. I apologize in advance if your electronic devices end up covered in drool.

Re: Very important question about cheese
Brie (wrapped in croissant dough and baked with honey and craisins)
Cheddar (a slice with mustard)
Extra sharp cheddar
Mozzarella usually with tomato, basil and tons of balsamic vinegar- yum!
Pepper jack
Not very exciting in the way of specialty cheeses, but still tasty.
1) Piave Vecchio cheese - slice it up and eat it with my wine (when not pregnant) or just by itself now.
2) Goat cheese in my salad. I love the way it coats my greens when I mix it all in with balsamic dressing.
3) Extra sharp cheddar. Sliced either with soppressata or by itself.
There's really no cheese that I don't like though. There are tons of soft cheeses that you can spread on good Italian bread with some marmelade...delicious snack.

May 2014 January Siggy Challenge:
Pecorino/hard parmigiano reggiano with aged balsamic vinegar
Baked Brie with cranberry and walnuts
Extra sharp Vermont cheddar (particularly in a focaccia bread, egg and spinach sandwich)
Blue cheese (made into a cream stuffed into celery)
Cheese fondue
Canadian cheddar cheese (in a Canadian cheddar cheese and beer soup)
Aged gruyere
Gouda (in a raclette... OMFG DELICIOUSNESS)
Basically any and all cheeses.
ETA: because my iPhone doesn't understand the difference between its and it's
2) Provolone, specifically when we're talking what to put on a sandwich
3) And I'm lumping all of the holiday cheeses into one choice (by that I mean ones that can be found on the cheese block at our family get-togethers during the holidays). This includes baked brie, a cranberry gorganzola that we always get, gouda...
I mean really, I pretty much love all the cheese.

Land-o-Lakes white american- just by the slice. but, like, a lot of slices.
1. Smoked gouda (with wine and grapes)
The one on my mind because of this post that I haven't seen yet is champagne...love when Costco carries the big wedge of that stuff....mmmmm

- boursault, spread on French bread
- Epoisse eat it with a spoon straight out of the box because it gets that runny.
Extra bonus points to anyone who has actually heard of any of these cheeses!

Brie: on a cracker, baked with apples and cranberry, on a veggie burger. Really I'll eat it anyway it's served.
Cheddar.
Hold the feta and gorgonzola, though.
Cheddar makes it better!
Queso dip. By the gallon.

Baby #2 due 4/26/16!
1. Havarti with the pepadew peppers
I like to eat it by itself or make spicy grilled cheese and avocado sandwiches
2. Saint Angel Triple Creme Brie
My absolute favorite! I eat it with apricot and almond crisps or with sour cherry on top and crackers.
3. Bufala Baked Lemon Ricotta.
It tastes like lemon cheesecake and is made from French buffala milk which is supposedly healthier than cow milk
4. Humboldt Fog goat cheese
It's soft, layered and has a vegetable ash center that gives it a great tangy citrus taste
Dubliner aged white cheddar on grilled cheese with red pepper.
Sharp cheddar & Granny Smith apples

DD: 5/22/14 | 9 lb 9 oz, 21.5 in
Also- whole foods sells this soft cheese that is somewhat crumbly on the outside and creamy on the inside. There's a layer of ash... sounds weird but it's delicious. If i was at whole foods I would choose that over brie. Yum. Might be going to whole foods tomorrow. ..
Forgot to name it- Humboldt fog. And read that someone else loves it too.
String cheese-because it saves my ass from having low blood sugar, even though I'm sooo tired of it.
Mozzarella or tellegio (sp?). I love my soft cheeses!
Especially, fresh mozzarella, goat cheese, feta, cheddar, brie, parmesan, etc, I could go on....I love all of the cheeses!!!!!!!
