my gdad was supposed to come down from Maine for Christmas but has developed an upper respiratory infection and now can't make it

good news is mom got insurance on the tkt so we will be able to have him come down in june/july to see his great-grandbaby and he seemed really excited about that

Ditto. For some reason, I can't tell the difference and then all of a sudden I'm wondering why my bra is SO tight. I've give up on wearing shirts in light colors because my chest stretches it soooo tightly that you can see the pattern underneath.

Also, it feels like my nipples have quadrupled in size. THAT has been much more noticeable for me. It's like my areolas are trying to eat my boobs. Scary!!

DH has a pimple in his nose. I advised him to ice it by shoving a frozen pea up there.

This reminds me of when I was little. I had to take a little pink medicine tablet (or vitamin? I don't remember) for some reason or another, and I just liked the smell of it so I put it in my hand and sniffed it. That little sucker went right up my nose! Indeed I was a brilliant child.

Happier topics.... I use these hormones to cry in front of my boss to weasel out of "disappointing" him. Keep in mind, the disappointment is only on his end and I've been busting my ass to get all of these meetings prepped.

Best feeling ever? No more fucking meetings for the rest of the year. Thank god. Though we'll still be too busy to give me off Christmas Eve. Asshats.

Yea. DH is freaking out he started crying at the appt. Which made me cry. Peanut is healthy as can be, quite the chunker, moving all over. I'm convinced he knows how cool we are and just wants to meet us early! Doc isn't overly concerned yet. He thinks the progesterone will slow everything down.

I just brushed my hair and the amount of shedding that ensued is down right scary. I thought this wasn't supposed to happen until after the baby was born. I have think hair to begin with! I can't afford this kind of loss!

Today is my birthday and DH and I went out to breakfast...twas delicious. I then probably doubled the weight of my baby by eating a ridiculous amount of mini muffins when we got home. DH is now deep cleaning the entire apartment while I put my feet up and "study." All I need is a glass of wine and today would be complete.

OH! And the weird situation I talked about last night just turned out to be a misunderstanding by the harp mover! I told him the harp needed to be there before one in Icelandic, then next had a conversation with a friend (while he was present) talking about my need to be somewhere at 7pm that night (Wednesday.) Harp mover doesn't speak the best English, so, I'm guessing that he overheard and misunderstood.

I had a dream last night that I gave birth in the car on the way to the hospital @-)

Yeah, I'm slightly afraid that this could happen since its an hour drive to the hospital from my house and I went from 6cm to DS being born in 15 mins, that was my second labor. With my first I showed up at 8cm and didn't even believe that I was in true labor.

I told DH about the dream and his response was "hmm, do you think it would hurt the trade-in value much?" lol silly DH.

@thomas930 This happened to my SIL with her 3rd. She thought she had lots of time and about half way to the hospital they had to pull over because he was coming. She gave birth in the car on the side of the road! hehe, FWIW it can be cleaned :-D
