I wish tanning wasn't so horrible for you. In my younger days, I'd go every once in awhile in the winter, or before a vacation to get a 'base', and I always felt a million times better about myself with a little color.

I agree! There is just something about that small glow that is nice!

My self confidence is a lot higher with a little less pasty white!
And unless I want to pay $50 for a professional spray tan that lasts 4 days, I'm pasty (and not even the good, porcelain skinned pasty) like 9 months out of the year. Yuck.
I am a Bears and Cubs fan. I know they're not the best teams in the history of sports, but damnit I'm loyal. What really pisses me off though is hearing Packers and Cardinals fans constantly bashing them. I swear, they care more about their loss/win status than the fans do

Definitely. I'm always cold, too, and I loved the way it warmed me up to the core. Sigh.

That's the beauty of rivalries. As a Yankees fan, I will cheer for the Yankees and whoever is playing Boston.
What's the point of being a sports fan if you can't talk smack?
Touche. I guess I should elaborate. The thing that pisses me off is the people who dish it but can't take it. If you're gonna talk smack about my team, don't get butthurt if someone says something about your team.

Which is funny, because I always feel like Cubs fans bash the Brewers and can't take it back. I guess it depends on which side of the state line you live on.
Totally agreed though. If you dish it - you have to take it. My H has problems with that at times.
*feels like bashing the bears right now would be bad luck for monday* For real though, as a Packer fan, I always felt like the Vikings were our big rival. I did grow up on the WI/MN border, though. I suck at trash talking and don't care enough to be bothered when someone gives me crap. I did unfriendly someone on Facebook (a Bears fan, go figure) who said DS1 looked stupid and was going to be "retarded" because he was wearing a Packer jersey. That's not really fun.
This is an FFTC, but I think I just sent the most passive aggressive work email ever without really intending it to that way. WTF is wrong with me? My filter is seriously lacking these days!
I have a lifelong allegiance to Britney Spears, and I am not ashamed to admit it. I realize she hasn't had the greatest of songs recently, but... the girl can do no wrong in my book. Like, I've listened to a song and thought 'I don't like this song.. but it kind of sounds like B.Spears and if that's the case then I guess it's good'.

Ew.
Yeah, Bears fans hate Green Bay but Green Bay fans hate the Vikings.
And everyone hates Dallas.
TRUE STORY, but gotta say GO CHIEFS!!!!! 8-0 BABY!!

I've got a few of those on my Facebook that are my in laws, but I just hide them from my feed because if I deleted them, I'd be a huge psycho and all. I don't ever talk smack about the Packers or Cards (both of which I hate) because I hate hearing it about my teams. My in laws are Packers fans and are annoying about it, like texting me when the Bears are losing saying, "Bet you wish you were a Packers fan right now hahahahahahaha" Just stfu.

Yeah, that sucks. If the Packers are losing on Monday make sure to rub it in with them a bit . Heck, you can page me and give me some crap if you want, too.

I'm so excited for them. We went to the home opener (against Dallas) and I just love their team spirit and following, even though they've sucked for a long time. Alex Smith did good things in San Fran before Kapernick, and he's doing good things in KC now.
As much as I hate Andy Reid because of the Eagles/Dallas rivalry, he's a kickass coach.
OMG have you seen the baby dressed as Andy Reid? It is hilarious!!!!

I agree, that's what makes great rivalries in the first place (as long as fans aren't beating the shit out of one another).
@misspunky hun, just watch the Bulls and Hawks, you'll feel better
also, I'm all for judging people. I feel like that's part of how we figure out how we're going to do things ourselves - by judging the heck out of how other people are doing it.
Judging gets a bad rap. And is totally different from saying something about it, IMHO. It bugs the crap out of me when people hold "no judgment" up as some higher standard.
I'm judgy, and proud.
I think more people should learn how to argue with "I" statements.
I don't care about sports. I played basketball in school for 5 years. Followed college basketball for a while. I've been to many a Yankee game. I just don't care about sports. Unless it has an engine involved.
I went trick or treating when I was 16. Why dd people give me candy? I think I would tell a 16 yo to GTFO.
Last year, some kids that were easily out of high school came to our door AFTER trick or treating hours, and MH, being the nice guy he is, still gave them candy. Then, we hear them rustling around in our yard and he looked out the window to see a hand come up and take our cigarettes that were sitting on the porch. All I heard was "Oh, FUCKTHAT" and he took off. I watched him walk down the sidewalk after them. They kept looking back and walking faster. He stopped them and told them he saw them take the cigs and they all played innocent. The one finally spoke up and said, "Dude, I promise I was gonna leave some cash on your porch tomorrow for them." And then they ran away.
The "hug it out" thread yesterday was far more annoying than the BOAB thread. especially because most of the people in the hug thread weren't in the BOAB thread to begin with. just stay out of it. lame.

I tanned everyday for a month my senior year of high school. I had an incredible tan on my graduation pictures but I shutter to think what the lasting consequences would be if I had kept going!
I hate watching football with the ILs, because the women are expected to congregate in another room, gossiping and drinking wine. I would like to see the game, please. I've gotten in fights with my DH because he wasn't paying close enough attention to the game. I may have been drunk at the time, but still.
I hate Halloween trick or treating. In my city, we always do it ON Halloween from 5-7pm. I realize it's selfish for me to hate it, but some of my fondest memories growing up were going ToT with people in my family, or with my friends. When it's in the middle of the week and people are getting home from work during that time, it's stupid.
Also, the kids in my neighborhood are assholes. When DH used to work nights and I'd be working until 6pm, we would miss the first 1/2 of ToT and we'd have our pumpkins smashed. It was just ridiculous. Getting candy isn't a right, it's a privilege and if someone isn't home, it shouldn't be ok to destroy things.

All kinds! I don't like any nuts (peanuts, pistachio, almonds, Etc).
I wish I did, but it makes me gag.

LOL. It's early. I had to read it like 3 times to get it.
I agree LL, smack talk is awesome. I wish I had more time and dedication to do it in FF, but with my college team, I'm all about it.
UO: Chili with beans is gross and not real chili.
