I wish tanning wasn't so horrible for you. In my younger days, I'd go every once in awhile in the winter, or before a vacation to get a 'base', and I always felt a million times better about myself with a little color.

My self confidence is a lot higher with a little less pasty white!

And unless I want to pay $50 for a professional spray tan that lasts 4 days, I'm pasty (and not even the good, porcelain skinned pasty) like 9 months out of the year. Yuck.

I am a Bears and Cubs fan. I know they're not the best teams in the history of sports, but damnit I'm loyal. What really pisses me off though is hearing Packers and Cardinals fans constantly bashing them. I swear, they care more about their loss/win status than the fans do

Totally agreed though. If you dish it - you have to take it. My H has problems with that at times.

I have a lifelong allegiance to Britney Spears, and I am not ashamed to admit it. I realize she hasn't had the greatest of songs recently, but... the girl can do no wrong in my book. Like, I've listened to a song and thought 'I don't like this song.. but it kind of sounds like B.Spears and if that's the case then I guess it's good'.

I've got a few of those on my Facebook that are my in laws, but I just hide them from my feed because if I deleted them, I'd be a huge psycho and all. I don't ever talk smack about the Packers or Cards (both of which I hate) because I hate hearing it about my teams. I'm so excited for them. We went to the home opener (against Dallas) and I just love their team spirit and following, even though they've sucked for a long time. Alex Smith did good things in San Fran before Kapernick, and he's doing good things in KC now.

As much as I hate Andy Reid because of the Eagles/Dallas rivalry, he's a kickass coach.

also, I'm all for judging people. I feel like that's part of how we figure out how we're going to do things ourselves - by judging the heck out of how other people are doing it.

Judging gets a bad rap. And is totally different from saying something about it, IMHO. It bugs the crap out of me when people hold "no judgment" up as some higher standard.

I'm judgy, and proud.

I think more people should learn how to argue with "I" statements.

I don't care about sports. I played basketball in school for 5 years. Followed college basketball for a while. I've been to many a Yankee game. I just don't care about sports. Unless it has an engine involved.

I tanned everyday for a month my senior year of high school. I had an incredible tan on my graduation pictures but I shutter to think what the lasting consequences would be if I had kept going!

I hate watching football with the ILs, because the women are expected to congregate in another room, gossiping and drinking wine. I would like to see the game, please. I hate Halloween trick or treating. In my city, we always do it ON Halloween from 5-7pm. I realize it's selfish for me to hate it, but some of my fondest memories growing up were going ToT with people in my family, or with my friends. When it's in the middle of the week and people are getting home from work during that time, it's stupid.

Also, the kids in my neighborhood are assholes. When DH used to work nights and I'd be working until 6pm, we would miss the first 1/2 of ToT and we'd have our pumpkins smashed. It was just ridiculous. Getting candy isn't a right, it's a privilege and if someone isn't home, it shouldn't be ok to destroy things.
