Until recently I was a caterer/event planner. When we were ttyc I switched to a less stressful position in administrative work. Now I'm also in school full time.....and I'm exhausted haha

@spano41 what are you getting your PhD in? Good luck!
Neuropharmacology so my classes were all about drugs basically My research involves the auditory system though so my thesis will be about the cellular mechanisms that allow the brain to localize sound.

Sounds awesome! Do you know what you want to do after you get your PhD? I've been a pharmaceutical chemist since I've graduated college.
Mom to 10 year old DS and 7 year old DD. Twin girls coming soon!
I'm a CPA, but recently left public (big four) and now work in financial reporting at a publicly traded company. I write their financial statements. Much better hours than auditing them.
I'm a nanny. Got out of school and couldn't imagine not having this little angel as part of my life. I'll be able to bring our peanut to work with me after a couple months of recovery, so I'll be getting paid to stay at their house or my own, with my own baby, and have the little girl I'm absolutely in love with over everyday. Rough times And her mom's so excited to get an idea of what she could be like as a big sister!
I'm also a social worker. I work for the state I live in. I used to work in child welfare, but I have worked with the aging population for about the past 2 years.
I own a cheerleading gym... I coach the competitive teams, and run around with bunches of little bits that flip around a lot... If this LO is a boy, he won't know what he is in for!
College admissions counselor, now I work part time for them from home. So a crazy schedule but its awesome being home with my daughter and such a difference from my first pregnancy where I was traveling every week.
I'm a SAHM. I used to be a registrar at a college for 5 years but staying at home was better for my health. *Dealing with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome* Being a SAHM is by far the best job I've ever had!! :x
@Holeri how many of your joints are affected by this syndrome? My ob mentioned this to me and he’s researching how to help me more than last time. My hips, knees and ankles are super flexible and I keep falling while pregnant and have horrible pains non-stop from my hips to my ankles. i had this last pregnancy as well and was in physical therapy 3 days a week to help alleviate the pain and strengthen the muscles surrounding my joints.

Every single joint is affected by EDS. It is a disorder of cartilage which you find thought your body. My back, hands, knees, hips, and feet effect me the most. They dislocate or just a pain most of the time. I'm in physical therapy all the time. Strenghtening something!
The falling and most of the pain went away about 6 weeks after delivery last time for me. I still had issues with my hips and knees but it came and went. I started going to a chirpractor that does active release therapy. Once my muscle separation closed, I started the and skimmed through the supple leopard book that my chiropractor recommended. I did a lot of core work and it helped the pain go away in my hips. Of course it came right back once I became pregnant again. I was hoping that doing all of that work would prevent it but it didn’t.
I'm a critical care RN. I would love to be a SAHM after baby, but it's unfortunately not an option for me. DH is in school full time and won't be working for another year still.

Not much of a leave for me when the baby comes. But I love what I do and hopefully will keep it going for the 5th gen.
