Harpist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Also a harpist in a percussion and harp duo. We mentor a lot of young composers helping them write for our crazy instruments. DH is a composer. I met him when he wrote a piece for the duo.

Lots of speech and language pathologists in here! When my kids get older I am thinking about getting my masters and working in that field. Right now I am a SAHM. I love it. Before having my son, I was a teacher (high school math and special education).

I'm a private mortgage broker, meaning I help ppl who don't qualify for mortgages through the banks. It's a great job but it means I don't get any maternity leave. I'll have to get back working as soon as I'm able. At least it's from home!

I work 2 days a week 9am-3pm as administrator for one of my parents companies. We work in the health care industry providing services for people with developmental disabilities. I do the hiring, firing, billing and payroll. Gives me just enough time to get out in the "real world" but also tons of time to be a SAHM

I consider myself a SAHM but I'm a FT nursing student (graduating in December!) and work occasionally (like one 12 hour night shift every week or two) in Neuro ICU and that's where I'll be working as an RN in January.

I guess I'm not really a SAHM since I am away from the house 3-4 days/week. My kids stay home with me or DHA though during the day and grandparents' houses 2 evenings/week for a couple hours until DH gets home.

Freelance graphic designer/fashion designer. I do all kinds of graphics for infant/toddler/boys/girls/juniors/men's for various clients/companies that sell to retailers like Urban Oufitters, Hot Topic, Macy's, Old Navy, etc.(mall stores) as well as some high end retailers and boutiques. A lot of t-shirts of course.

It's interesting to see what everyone does. I sell really expensive software for a Silicon Valley giant. I'm killing it this year and actually just hit presidents club (125% of my year end quota) super early so I can chill out for the rest of the year... Show up when I want... Leave when I want. I love my job. I also own a small business and run that on the side with DH.
