  • I put miracle whip on my grilled cheese. On the inside, not instead of butter. It's so much better.

Are ALL Missys everywhere having this problem??!?? Because I sure am! And now she just fell asleep, I'm still not showered, and it's late in the afternoon, so she really should be waking from a nap, not finally falling the fuck asleep. GODDAMMIT.

  • @HilarityEnsued have you tried putting baking soda in his bath?  It soothes and helps reduce the redness.

I have and it is beyond delicious. Especially when made with pimento cheese instead of regular. Thanks for that one, Southern Living, my expanding ass thanks you.

I will try that tonight. Thanks!! I tried to give him no diaper time but it is hard because his butt cheeks are raw right where thy rub together so I have to smear his butt with aquaphor so it doesn't run and then that shit gets all over the place. And honestly that is a ridic mess.

Jock itch cream under diaper rash cream. It helps if it's a yeasty rash.

Just watch out because it makes the bath and the kid slippery as hell!

I'm on page 7. DS had school and soccer yesterday. He slept like shit and got up early. Then he had school this morning. I was the snack person in a class of 20 2 year olds. My kid won't stop whining in my face because he's exhausted.

I just hit my chillum (small pipe). I'm feeling better.

Now DH is driving us to the state fair. Fair food y'all!

  • All the sorries to those of you with rash babies.
Sometimes I wonder if I don't give myself enough credit - someone mentioned depression and health issues - like I've had a chronic disease that isn't going away for seven years now, and I still beat myself up over my anxiety/depression issues and that makes them worse. Maybe I should attempt to like accept myself or something.
    I don't have a Costco around here :(
You ladies make me think smoking wouldn't be that bad except I still would prefer to get my distorted reality from alcohol.
I looked at like 4 posts on the PS tumblr and said fuck no I'm getting out so. I'm thinking I'm actually not a drama whore, drama makes me uncomfortable.
Also, I'm just learning to drive now and learning to drive is making me feel so much more comfortable with myself because once I have my license I'll have freedom. Which will be epic.

  • My DS is in the middle of a stomach bug and wicked diaper rash. We saw the pedi on Wednesday and she prescribed Nystatin (antifungal I think? So lotramin would work too). She said to apply antifungal 4x per day with a layer of the purple Desitin. Instead of wipes or water, use a cotton pad with baby oil because it gets him clean but isn't stripping the moisture out of the skin. Huuuuge improvement within 12 hours (overnight).

I dip my hushpuppies in butter.

A place by us serves honey butter with their hushpuppies.  It's delicious.

I dip my hush puppies in ketchup.

    I googled hush puppies.

I only know them as a brand of shoes, so I was concerned, yet intrigued.

    They look good.

Yeah, my grandmom made grilled cheese with mayo when I was a kid, and I was horrified. DH likes it like that, but I think it's nasty.

Has anyone had Palmetto cheese? It's kind of like pimento cheese, but it's more cream cheese based than mayo. I guess my FFFC is that I could eat like half of a container of that stuff in one sitting. I only buy it when I go to the lake, and that is why I gain 3 lbs in one weekend at the lake (maybe the drinks have something to do with it too).
  • Here's mine: its quite flameful too. I was supposed to tell STBXH about a birthday party for DD but wanted the weekend to myself so off I go ALONE to a 4 y/o's birthday party. Flame away!
  • I had an actual fffc, it's not juicy so don't get too excited.
I'm fb friends with a girl from hs who matches her clothes with her bf EVERYDAY, they even wear the exact same shoes. I really want to tell her she looks like a stage 5 clinger psycho. If it weren't for being personal, I'd post pictures.  It's super ridiculous.

Man, I would really love to see this. That's so bizarre.

They each have 4 pairs of Air Jordans (just from what I've seen, possibly more)  that match each other. The last picture they posted this morning they were going to the Y and were wearing matching Georgia Bulldogs shirts, black Nike shorts and matching Nike shoes. For the 4th of July she wore a red and white striped dress and he wore a navy shirt with stars. So they looked like a giant walking flag. They even match their accessories,  like watches and sunglasses.

Omfg. I wish I could friend her on FB. That is hysterical.
Me too, soooo badly. There was this dorkalicious couple in college, and one day I realized they were wearing identical cable knit sweaters. I know those sweaters all look similar, but I'm pretty sure this was the exact same sweater because the girl's was pretty masculine looking. It was one of my favorite days.

My puppies are moist and delicious and you would love them. I will make them for you some time. I even make two varieties a cinnamon sugar with brown sugar butter and a parley garlic that you eat with the shrimp. Hush puppies are basically the best.

I want your puppies in my mouth!

Well there's your problem right there. You can't base your whole opinion of a food on a fast food version. You need real hush puppies STAT!
