One try, and it was more of an "oh, crap, why did we just decide that was a good idea" kind of thing. But we wanted more kids, and I am not getting any younger, so we are happy to be expecting number 2
Basically it was our first month trying. Which is INSANE because it took 2 years, 2 IUI's and lots of injectable fertility drugs to get pg with my twins. My OB said "pregnancy is the best cure for infertility" and apparently she was right!
After 2 years, Injects, PCOS diagnosis and 2 IUI's, we were blessed with our beautiful twin girls! Baby Girl #3!
We were actively trying for 20 months. Lots of ups and downs emotionally, and lots of appts with the doc. I was tested for everything.. DH had a SA and everything came back normal. 1 round of Clomid in June at 50mg, and no BFP on my official "testing dates". I was waiting for my period to start so I could start round 2 in July at 100mg, but after 35 days without a period, I tested again and BOOM! There is was! We are absolutely psyched, and feel extremely blessed.
I was pregnant our first month trying post loss. And last pregnancy I was pregnant the second month after stopping bcp.
Married 11/23/11, TTC starting 10/12, BFP#1 11/30/12, Adoption of stepson finalized 03/19/13,Loss of our daughter at 20w4d due to incompetent cervix 03/27/13, BFP#2 06/28/13, DS2 born 3/1/14.
This one, pretty much instantly, I didn't even know I was pregnant until almost 9 weeks! I was breastfeeding and on BC so I have had one period since I got pregnant with DD1, I just thought I wasn't regulated! Nope, I was pregnant.
DD1 took almost a year, when I am ovulating, I'm really irregular.
It took us 5 cycles before successful. Because I'm 37, our goal was to try for 6 cycles before looking at "next steps." I was charting and using OPK's. Was in the doc's office for progesterone results and mentioned that my app said I was 2 days late. So, I took a test there and it came back positive. I totally didn't think that I was pregnant. My doc came in the room, jumping up and down. Happy tears were shed.
I was on depo provera up until about 6 months before our wedding in September of last year. My doctor switched me off of it and onto low dose pills hoping that would help get the depo out of my system. It took 9 months from the time I stopped the pills - which is better than the 2 years we were told it may take!
Two years and 3 months for us with a pregnancy and loss around one year. It has been miraculous for us to get pregnant at all since my DH had a vasectomy reversal 14 years after the original vasectomy. Our first pregnancy happened right before we received news that he had motility and volume issues. We were hopeful we would get pg again but after more than a year we were starting to give up hope!
So grateful for this baby
March 2014 February Siggy Challenge: Third Trimester Feelings
2nd month after going off the pill. Weren't trying pursay- but knew when I was fertile and didn't prevent anything. 2nd month the first time of actual trying.
With DS it took us 2 and half years to conceive him... and tbh we use to be smug and talk about to each other "People cannot have accidents... they are just irresponsible..." or "It only takes one sperm they told us in school... ha yeah right" I don't know if it was those words that came back to bit us, but we where NFP (Natural Family Planning) because I do feel like my hormonal BC was the cause of my miscarriages(abnormal progesterone levels) ... and we where careless in June... I don't remember us having sex on the 'red' days... and if I remember correctly he did pull out on the other times :P But you know... It only takes one sperm! LOL

It took 2.5 years after our shocking diagnosis of infertility at 22 (my fault, blocked tubes) to get pregnant. Our first round of IVF worked and we have four more embryos on ice!
-1 month, lol I had come off BC in April to give my body time to adjust. Our plan was to start trying after our wedding in July. Welp, the night of my bachelorette party...I had been drinking and completely jumped my DH when I got home. He stopped to grab a condom but drunk me didn't let him... Found out we were pregnant 6 days before the wedding!!
It actually works out for the best. I'll get a full 3months maternity leave plus the summer before I go back to work in September!
We were going to start trying in August or September, and so I started using the CBEFM in June to have it get to know my cycle. We did have sex on one of the million high days it gave me using 'pull and pray', it seemed like I was never going to get a peak day. We were avoiding getting pregnant but obviously not that diligently (got pregnant with DS the same way) as we got pregnant that month.
I wish I new what all of these acronyms were. Guess I'm not very up to date on all the pregnancy lingo. We got married June 1st and got pregnant my first cycle. I was never on birth control. Can't believe there is a little baby inside of me! This is amazing.

Two Months / cycles...Stopped birth control mid April. Period at end of April, then LMP was may 31. Positive test July 5 at 4 1/2 weeks. I had myself convinced it would take a long time, feeling very blessed that it happened quickly ...especially since I'm 36, have a kidney disease, and it's first pregnancy.
Five months of every other day sex during the middle two weeks of my 28-ish day cycle. I could never remember to temp for more than two days in a row so I just said screw it (literally).
I conceived the first opportunity, I guess. I was regularly breast feeding my (then) 7 month old son and never got my period back. I was thinking I probably wouldn't be able to get pregnant again til I weaned him most of the way....so I was thrilled to find out I had conceived before even getting a period or having to wean him at all :-)
8 years without any protection. 3 years truly tracking every thing. I have endometriosis and thyroid problems and was told I probably wouldn't be able to do it naturally.
That was a poor choice of words. I meant our infertility diagnosis was because of my blocked tubes. My tubes are covered in adhesions because of a botched appendectomy/laparotomy when I was 14, which was certainly not my fault.
1 year. Started fertility testing and had hsg procedure done. My Fallopian tubes were clear. Radiologist said a lot of time dye used for testing cleans out debris and wham, pregnant quick. Did not have a period after that and am 12 weeks!
We only had sex once. My mom warned me when I was a teenager that my family is very fertile (not that I even had boyfriends lol... but looking back I'm glad!)
DD took one cycle. We're very fortunate, and I'm very nervous for DD's teen years.
