How long did you TTC before conceiving this baby?

11 cycles/12 months. I used OPKs and temped/charted the whole time. I had started fertility testing and got pregnant on my HSG cycle. It was my last unmediated cycle luckily.

First month of trying for DS and this pregnancy. I was charting for months before we actually TTC so I had a really good idea of my fertile window.

I was surprised we got pregnant on the 1st try with this baby because our timing. I ovulated about 7 days earlier than normal. I was shocked to see my temp spike the morning after DTD.

For our first pregnancy, it took 7 months, but we lost it at 4 weeks.  It then took another 12 months for our second, which we lost at 22 weeks.  This one miracuously happened on our second cycle trying.

2nd cycle that we were just "rolling with it," not trying but not preventing. It took a couple of months for the fact that I am pregnant to sink in! I was mentally prepared for it to take much longer. The positive test was more of a surprise to me than to DH!

Got pregnant first cycle which ended in a CP and then somehow got pregnant the next cycle with this one (charting). With DD we were NT/NP for just a few months.

Everyone always told me "it will  take about 3 months"....nope....the very first night we had sex without contraception. I had been off my birth control for only ten days. I had been on birth control for almost a decade before that.

First month trying.  I was temping and testing for ovulation from the start so I think that definitely helped.

We just discussed seriously trying for baby#2 and I got pregnant. So not very long, the first month.

DD took 3 months of charting and actually trying, DS was a surprise and conceived while on Birth control, This little bean was conceived the first month we stopped preventing.  We may not have the best of luck in any other areas of our lives but when it comes to getting pregnant we have been very blessed and very lucky.

This exactly!  Sorry DH   We were pregnant after just a couple "tries" with my first son, and this one was seriously on the first try... we did it once then husband left on a business trip.  Then 3 1/2 weeks later BFP!

I went off BC at the end of last August- so 10 months. It was a little discouraging bc all of my friends got pregnant on the first or second try. But we're here now and so excited

Stopped taking the pill in March, finally got a positive ovulation test in June and got pg on Father's Day.  So technically, we got pg on the first try.

13 cycles of charting. 12 cycles of TTC before BFP. Of those 12 5 cycles of OPK. With DS 6 cycles of charting and 3 cycles of TTC.

I had an ovulation/ menstrual cycle chart on my iPhone. We just tried once on ovulation day just to see if it would happen and it did. I was shocked!!

Having said that I have been off if birth control for a year because it made me sick all the time so we use condoms.

We started in June 2011, got pregnant in Nov 2011, miscarried, then had to go on hiatus until August 2012 (I had uterine surgery in April 2012 and couldn't ttc for several months after). We got pregnant again in Nov 2012, miscarried again, and got our bfp at the tail end of June 2013.

..... so..... 2 years total? But there was a break in between.

Over two years!!!
I found out in February my Fallopian tubes were so blocked, I'd never get pregnant on my own. I had my tubes removed, and in late May we started IVF. We got our BFP July 13th!!!!

With dd we weren't trying nor preventing and it took 3 months, like OP.
we started trying again march 2012, got pregnant on the first try, but it ended in an ectopic.
We had to wait til after a period before trying again, which was August 2012. Then my periods went super irregular. Between August 2012 and when we conceived this one (June), I had 2 periods and ovulated in June. So 10 months with this one.

Got married May 31, pregnant 3 weeks later. We wanted kids right away...but this was faster than we expected! Haha!

I even bought an ovulation predictor kit...and had to wait till my next cycle to use it - and never had a next cycle, haha!

We went to Greece on honeymoon and came back with this little souvenir. ;-) (see pic of DH and me in Santorini!)

It was our first month without protection, just kind of seeing what happened.  I had convinced myself due to family history & my own medical issues that it would take ages for us to get pregnant, so I was beginning to read up one fertility windows & monitoring your cycle - & then I found out I was already pregnant!  Best surprise.

Over 2 years with 23-24 day cycles (so a lot more cycles than months). Took a break due to breast cancer and treatment in the middle. Started trying again 10/2012, went to RE 12/2012. c/p in April after cancelled IVF due to premature ovulation, June IVF (Take 2) was successful - transferred 2 and 1 bean decided to stick around.

9 months for me. But that included 5 rounds of clomid and the addition if metformin. It was 2 years with ds.

We tried for 2 years with DS. After he was born, we knew we wanted one more... Since it took so long to TTC DS, we didn't try but didn't prevent. We were pregnant 6 weeks after DS was born.
