Well I'm home and about to relax!! We transferred 2 embryos (DH tried to talk me into 3!)... an early stage blast and a 1BB blast. We'll know tomorrow if we have any to freeze but id doesn't look very promising since none of the remaining are even early blasts today. I was so disappointed how our embryos had progressed since they were doing so well when we got the call on Saturday. But hoping & praying this leads to a healthy child (or two!) and we have some to freeze!!! Trying not to think about it but apparently the emotions decided to show up today. Anyway, so excited to get updates from you all!!!

QOTD: I don't like cleaning. At all. But I love the results. Haha.

I'm still on Lupron....starting to feel some side effects. I'm constantly exhausted but have trouble sleeping, I'm feeling very snappish, and I keep getting dull headaches. I go in for a baseline appointment on Thursday and should start stims either Thursday or Friday hoping that since my Lupron dose will go down the side effects will get better.
QOTW: I really really hate dusting. I don't exactly love another chore, but things like cleaning the bathroom don't bother me at alll.

Still in the 2WW beta is Saturday, the 13th.

QOTD: I hate folding/putting away clothes! I don't have enough space in my dressers, so t-shirts and stuff usually stay in the basket against the wall in our bedroom!
I like to dust, even though it makes me sneeze, but I love the way it looks/smells once it's done!
I really need to do A LOT of household chores right now, but DH won't let me. He wants me to really take it easy! So, I'm Bumping and watching Lifetime! I sure hope it's worth it!!

Hello fireflies!

Just got the call from my nurse, E2 was at 3601 this morning and I have about 10 or 11 mature looking follicles. So with all that said, I trigger tonight for a Wednesday morning retrieval! I'm nervous, but all the Drs and nurses I've talked to say my cycle looks perfect so far.

QOTD: I hate all chores,but I'm pretty spoiled because DH does a lot of house work!

I've missed the last few check-ins, but I'm officially in the 2WW! Today is 6dp5dt. We transferred one perfect blast last Tuesday. Beta is on Thursday. I actually peed in a cup today but made myself pour it out....I want to test so bad but trying to hold out until Wednesday! I was feeling pretty confident until this morning when my boobs stopped hurting as much...which is exactly what happened last BFN FET. Ugh!

I hate putting away clean clothes. I don't mind washing or folding, but when it comes to sorting and putting them away, I HATE it!

Wooo Hooooo!!!! That's awesome your DH does a lot around the house! Mine works so many hours and I work from home so I feel bad even asking. Ha!

I actually peed in a cup today but made myself pour it out....I want to test so bad but trying to hold out until Wednesday! I was feeling pretty confident until this morning when my boobs stopped hurting as much...which is exactly what happened last BFN FET. Ugh!
I hate putting away clean clothes. I don't mind washing or folding, but when it comes to sorting and putting them away, I HATE it!

Yay!!! You're back AND in the 2WW! Beta is THIS Thursday!?!? Eeeeek!!!

I actually love folding & putting away clothes.... if we were all closer we could tag team our laundry! haha!

GL thebrewers!! and everyone else in the 2ww too. Hoping to hear a lot of great news to start the fireflies off!!

Well, I'm all set for my Friday transfer. My lining was a 14 and triple stripe yesterday so I can't really ask for much better! First PIO shot has left me sore today, but not too bad. A little worried about the fact that I have to do 2 IM shots shots tonight. My poor backside!!

QOTD: I hate doing dishes. It works out well because I do all the cooking and DH does the cleaning. I also hate folding the clothes so I do the laundry and he folds it. It's a great system for me

Had my last monitoring appt today. Everything is looking great -- according to my RE I have approx. 10-12 follies. I am triggering tonight w HCG and ER will be Wednesday am.

Tonight I have to do trigger shot and 450iu of follistim. Has anyone done this or heard of this?

Today should be my last day of stims. Recheck in the am to see how follicles look. Probably ER Thursday. I have 6 follies growing as of yesterday's appointment. That disappoints me bc I was hoping for more but I am praying quality over quantity!
Qotd: I hate dusting! Especially the blinds and ceiling fans! Ugh!

I went in for a check up this morning. I get to take my last BCP tonight and will begin the Gonal-F injections Friday:) We are looking at ER on the 23 or 24.

QOTD: The chore I hate most is laundry!! Luckily that is the chore DH took when we divvied up the chore list:)

We're 3dpIUI. Really sad about having been converted, but we didn't have a choice. So, we're in the 2ww and trying to stay positive, beta on 7/19 but I'm sure we'll be testing before then.

QOTD: I hate cleaning bathrooms, so much scrubbing. Sweeping and vacuuming aren't too bad though.

Hello fireflies,

I am a little late to the party, but it looks like I will have a retrieval around July 22. Can I join your group? This is my 3rd round of IVF, but actually my 5th egg retrieval. (I went through a stupid egg banking debacle that wasted about 6 precious months and ended with a giant fail!)

I am seeing a new RE and we are doing a multi cycle, freeze all embryos for genetic testing. I took my last bcp today and I will begin micro lupron this Thursday and Stims on Friday. I am ready to get going!

I could have written the first three sentences. Snapping is the name of my game today after only getting a few hours of sleep. The headache generally sets in about 90 minutes after my injection. Fun fun. We may ave to have a middle of the night IF party in Chicago.

Heya Ladies!

FET#2 went smoothly, as far as I can tell. The successfully thawed 2 of our 7 (5 still remaining) and they looked great.

DH is still positive, but I admit I am terrified, everything went just a well last time, and it all ended so horribly. So I wait, I'm 6dp5dt, boobs are sore, I'm exhausted. First Beta was scheduled for Friday but as my local clinic will not order STAT bhcg our Seattle Dr gave me the go ahead to get the blood drawn on Thursday so I'll know the results on Friday and not have to wait until Monday the 16th.

August - here's hoping Thursday is a Good Good Day.

QUTD - I'd like to be able to hire a maid, that way I wouldn't have to do any of it.

QOTD. I hate putting laundry away! It's just the most tedious chore, IMO. I am obsessive over the floors and sweep them a minimum of once a day, but I could let laundry pile up for weeks without caring!

Hey Ladies,

tomorrow I get my progesterone checked and then hopefully start lupron on Wednesday. I got all my meds in on Saturday and have a special drawer in the fridge for them : ) I told my husband he is not allowed in that drawer for any reason unless I specifically ask him to go in there. Sometimes he's a big oaf and who knows what kind of havoc he would wreak.

I have two kitty litter boxes and I don't mind cleaning the upstairs one, but HATE doing the downstairs one. I think b/c all the supplies are upstairs, but this weekend I bought two sets of liners/litter to leave with each one, so may be better? I love cleaning my granite countertops, they just sparkle after. I have one that is black with gold flecks and one that is blue and looks like it has a bunch of abalone shells in it. The blue one is a remnant from the Four Season hotel in Boston (have friend in the granite biz : )

I'm bummed b/c just found out another friend is preggo w/twins......it's supposed to be MY TURN!

Haha seriously. I've actually considered asking a few friends about having cleaning days where we help each other clean our house so we can hang and chat and get our homes clean at the same time. Just haven't pursued it yet!

I've never used follistim but during my first IVF I had to trigger with some Gonal F because my estrogen had dropped.

I kinda like vacuuming too!!!!

Hi ladies! Sorry I haven't been around over the last few days. We went on a minivacay for the pong weekend, so I am just catching up on everything.

I had my last FET monitoring appointment today. My lining is already at 13.5, so we are all set for our transfer next Tuesday. I finish Lupron on Wednesday and start PIO cue panic! Thursday. All of the anxiety of doing this again really started to hit me last night.

I HATE folding/putting clothes away. I don't love any chore, but I don't mind cleaning the kitchen.

Sounds like you are doing great! I understand the panic and worry, but it sounds like you have every reason to be hopeful! I'm excited for you.
