We're 3dpIUI.  Really sad about having been converted, but we didn't have a choice.  So, we're in the 2ww and trying to stay positive, beta on 7/19 but I'm sure we'll be testing before then.

QOTD:   I hate cleaning bathrooms, so much scrubbing.    Sweeping and vacuuming aren't too bad though.

Well I'm home and about to relax!!  We transferred 2 embryos (DH tried to talk me into 3!)... an early stage blast and a 1BB blast.  We'll know tomorrow if we have any to freeze but id doesn't look very promising since none of the remaining are even early blasts today.  I was so disappointed how our embryos had progressed since they were doing so well when we got the call on Saturday.  But hoping & praying this leads to a healthy child (or two!) and we have some to freeze!!!  Trying not to think about it but apparently the emotions decided to show up today.  Anyway, so excited to get updates from you all!!!

QOTD: I don't like cleaning.  At all.  But I love the results.  Haha.

 

Congrats on being pupo! Fx you get some frosties but you're not going to need them. 

Thank you!!!  Kinda do need the frosties though... we want 5 kids and IVF is the only way we can have kids!  Really not excited about doing the whole cycle that many times nor could we afford it.  Gotta love IF.

I am a little late to the party, but it looks like I will have a retrieval around July 22. Can I join your group?  This is my 3rd round of IVF, but actually my 5th egg retrieval. (I went through a stupid egg banking debacle that wasted about 6 precious months and ended with a giant fail!)

I am seeing a new RE and we are doing a multi cycle, freeze all embryos for genetic testing. I took my last bcp today and I will begin micro lupron this Thursday and Stims on Friday. I am ready to get going!

AF left town on Friday so now I'm starting OPKs tomorrow! I'm so excited that I get to pee on something, it's ridiculous! Ha! I'm starting to feel pretty nervous...but I know I'm ready for this next step. I'm hoping we get a smiley face on O pretty soon so that I can find out when our transfer date will be! Supposedly it will be 6dp trigger...so maybe the 20th or 21st? It all depends but I can't seem to stop counting out the days and possibilities! We signed our FET paperwork and I scared myself silly about the thawing risks...but I'm really just excited and I want to give this whole TTGP thing a try after all this time and all of these tests.

Thinking of you all. Thebrewers FX bigtime!! I'm so excited for everyone, but I hope you can all feel my hugs if you need them.

I could have written the first three sentences. Snapping is the name of my game today after only getting a few hours of sleep. The headache generally sets in about 90 minutes after my injection. Fun fun. We may ave to have a middle of the night IF party in Chicago. 

Ugh so sorry you ladies are dealing with those side effects.

Heya Ladies!

FET#2 went smoothly, as far as I can tell.  The successfully thawed 2 of our 7 (5 still remaining) and they looked great. 

DH is still positive, but I admit I am terrified, everything went just a well last time, and it all ended so horribly.  So I wait, I'm 6dp5dt, boobs are sore, I'm exhausted.  First Beta was scheduled for Friday but as my local clinic will not order STAT bhcg our Seattle Dr gave me the go ahead to get the blood drawn on Thursday so I'll know the results on Friday and not have to wait until Monday the 16th.

August - here's hoping Thursday is a Good Good Day.

QUTD - I'd like to be able to hire a maid, that way I wouldn't have to do any of it.

Ahhhhh I hope Thursday brings good results for you ladies!!!

I've told DH many times, when we're rich (ha!) the first thing I'm doing is hiring a maid!!!

I am obsessive over the floors and sweep them a minimum of once a day, but I could let laundry pile up for weeks without caring!

My lining is already at 13.5, so we are all set for our transfer next Tuesday. I finish Lupron on Wednesday and start PIO cue panic! Thursday. All of the anxiety of doing this again really started to hit me last night. I HATE folding/putting clothes away. I don't love any chore, but I don't mind cleaning the kitchen.

Glad to hear things are staying on schedule!  Hope you're mini vaca was just what you needed.

this is my first time with lupron, and yeah now that I'm stimming getting cancelled the headaches, insomnia whole time etc. Sorry hun,hopefully it will balance out soon

Donor is getting close to ER. She is stimming now and we will find out tomorrow when DH has to go down and give his sample for fertilization.
Getting closer and so excited as to how this is all going to work out and since its a shared cycle how many eggs we will end up with is still unknown.
Qotd chores I like doing is organizing and i hate cleaning bathrooms thats why i have a housekeeper come twice a month!!!

I don't mind stimming longer if I get better eggs. My re has always said slow and steady is best for maturity. I'm counting on 10 or 11 days since that's my average.

ET was July 5th.  We were supposed to transfer two blasts, but only one was ready.  Two more were ready the next day so now they are frozen for our next try.  Today I am 3dp5dt!  I tested out my trigger and am hoping to see a postiive before my beta on Friday, July 12th!

I don't really mind household chores...that doesn't mean I do they all the time though!  My favorite is probably laundry.

QOTD: I don't mind housework too much, I do have my moods where I just don't want to do anything at all! Poor DH just has to deal with a messy house sometimes.

QOTD: I hate cooking. DH is a trained chef (but doesn't work as one) and he does ALL the cooking. If he works late and there's nothing prepared, I will eat Kraft mac n cheese or takeout.

Very very weepy already cried five times yesterday out of no where. First monitoring bw tomorrow!!!! Can't believe I'm here already!! Feels very different this time!! I'm not AS obsessive but it's still early!

I hate shopping and putting away groceries.....gives me major anxiety!

This cycle was better for me too (physically) so maybe that's a good thing for both of us.

It's so funny to me to read all the things we each enjoy or despise doing on our "chore" list.  I'm loving this question!!!

It was! I highly recommend a pre-transfer getaway to anyone who can swing it! We spent four IF-free days in the mountains in NC! Just what the doctor ordered!

That's awesome!  I live in NC... 2 hours from the beach and 4 from the mountains.  Gotta love it.
