That sounds amazing!!! I would love to do this for our anniversary, just get a hotel room, go and swim in the pool, sit in the hot tub, and then play computer games for the night. Or weekend. But this idea has been vetoed by MH.

Ummm...
1) I assumed all parents did the "he/she's happy on her own, why mess with that?" child avoidance game.
2) I can't guarantee how often my nursing bras have been washed. Suffice it to say, not nearly enough.
3) I went back and read last weeks FFFC. I think you're all silly.
4) I'm currently not cutting E's hair because I don't understand how to do it so that it doesn't grow out silly. (I grew up with boy hair as a kid - had a pixie for years as an adult. Maybe she'll be like that too? )
5) I think people who like sweet tea don't actually like tea.

I agree the comment was unnecessarily mean. Though I don't find it funny when someone jokes about what they eat when it causes them health problems. This goes for people of all weights. I would not find it funny if someone severely underweight said "Dude lettuce is the effing bomb, it's all I'd eat if I could". Karm is an adult and can eat whatever she likes but I don't think anyone is doing her a favor by constantly making light of junk food choices.

It was most certainty not for the sake of being mean. Karm talks about sweets she likes all the time, other people make a point to tell us about new Oreos because we know she, as well as many other people here, like them. So a sarcastic "shocking" should hardly be taken as mean spirited. If you can remember, you have a past of saying nasty things ion here yourself. You're hardly qualified to point the finger at me.

Listen karm, it wasn't my intention to make you feel that way. I feel you and I have a fairly good understanding of each others sense of humor. When I said it was "shocking" that you look forward to twinkies, I meant only a sarcastic "duh" since we know you love Oreos. I love twinkies, too. I am not judging you for being excited not did I mean to make you feel badly. I figured you'd come back with something quick and witty, which you did and I thought that'd be that. I won't speak for anyone else, though I'd guess that so many other people trying to jump in also lead to you feeling badly. So. I'm sorry. I didn't make any comments on your lifestyle, nor will I ever do that. I hope we can go on now, and continue to talk sarcastic shiit to each other every other day ;

I have no idea what posts you are referencing, but if there is something I disagree with, regardless of the poster I say something. I have nothing against karm, she just happened to be someone who posted something I disagree with when she posted about the diapers. Jfresh did nothing just because I did. I have since apologized. There's a comment in this thread said to karm tar is far worse than me saying shocking so STFU.
Really, somebody should just stab Caesar.
I also commented on the diaper thing last week. Can I be lumped into the bandwagon blame too? Or can I just be blamed as an individual who had an opinion about something I saw written on a message board and felt compelled to comment on? I hope its the later.

I can appreciate friends coming to the rescue when shiiit goes down... But Karm said earlier "don't put words in my mouth"... And if she wasn't OK, CWM apologized... Plenty of people who have hashed out this particular issue have been on both sides of the fence before... How long are we going to drag it out? Is there really a place for name calling here?
Would this have been as big a deal if it weren't surrounding the two people involved? If I had posted that I was excited for Twinkies to come back and CWM had responded with the "shocking" remark... Would it have been taken by everyone with such offense... Probably not.
Unless Karm said something behind the scenes about being sad or needing help expressing her opinions, shouldn't she be the one to take on CWM if she feels the need? We know she's completely able to on her own.

Good now someone else can send her an anonymous gift card to help her buy formula. There's my real confession. Right before Christnas Karm posted that she didn't know how she'd afford formula the next week. I sent her an egiftcard to Walmart, totally anonymously, to help her because I felt worried and sad. I have no clue whether she even got it or deleted it bc she thought it was junk. But you're right, Mel. I just hate karm. Really, give me a break.

So if Karm and CWM hated each other before the plastics/wolves came into existence...Why would it be brought up now? Because JFresh also had an opinion on the diapers? That seems silly. I guarantee a lot of people saw that and were like WTF?????
People took this particular argument to heart because (I assume) they felt that the feelings, real life feelings, of another bumpie had been hurt. This became a debate that was about much more than I let my kid do this, or I do that when I know I shouldn't... People made this a personal attack. It is in the instance of a personal attack that people should talk with their friend or friends (the offended) to see if they need to act on it, not assume they need to get their rescue on.
A simple..."Hey Karm, are you cool or do we need to cut a b!tch?" probably would have stopped this sh!t in it's tracks.

I think many of you need to go back a few pages and re-read these responses. I'm 95% sure (and I leave the 5% because I can't get ahold of Karm on fb to confirm and god forbid I speak for anyone else) that Karm wasn't referring to any of her defenders when she said not to put words in her mouth. It's clear from the responses who she is talking about if you want to sharpen your reading comprehension skills.
I got involved because I'm sick of cwm lashing out at people with snide comments when they're unprovoked and unnecessary. I brought it up last week so that's evidence enough that it didn't have anything to do with Karm directly. In the small chance that ALL OF US who took offense to what she said took her comment completely wrong, then I apologize. However with cwm's track record of snark, and the diaper fiasco last week, you can see why it would have been taken wrong in the first place.

CWM's anonymous confession is reminding me of the Anonymous Donation episode. Where they are all arguing because Larry David kept saying he made a big anonymous donation to a charity, but it totally defeats the purpose of announcing you anonymously did it.
