Of course. If I wasnt comfortable enough with DH to share that info I wouldn't have married him.

He knows approximately what I make, but probably not exact numbers. We have separate accounts and it's not been an issue.

Yes! We work and provide for the same family so there is no reason to keep things separate or hidden.

Since I don't make anything, yes. When I worked I would tell him but he never remembered. I handle the finances so as long as bills are paid he doesn't care.

Not all married couples file jointly. If they file separately I don't think they'd have to know each others info.

Yes. He knows my hourly wage, as well as what my yearly salary ends up being. He makes way more than me, so he probably doesn't care, lol. However, I deal with all the finances and I file our taxes.

I like to tease and say in our family I'm the CFO and my hubby is the President. I am actively interviewing and he is giving me pointers on salary for first time just wondering how common it is to know this info.

ha ha..my husband knows more than I do..He does all of our finances and is very on top of things but he's the one who checks my paychecks every week and keeps track of everything.

Yes, and how much I spend, retirement accts etc. and I know his info so we can budget. We are transitioning to me staying at home and trying to buy a house so money has been a frequent topic of conversation. Also started a college fund.

Well, I'm a stay home mom... so that's a big zero there.... but when I did work he knew. I do the finances here, but we've always shared that info, even when we were just dating but "serious".
