Also, my dog has twice turned my car into different gears as I was driving any it scared the sh!t out of me. Do people just have issues with car seats in the top of shopping carts, what about when a kid is just sitting in ithe top of a shopping cart? Is that then all of the sudden safe? I'm just a little confused on it. Are you guys scared that the kid will fall out of the cart?

You make a good point. The way I think about it, it actually seems safer. Here is my logic. The cart tips over. The carseat falls on its own, but the kid is strapped in so the car seat can't fall "on" them. Or, the kid is sitting in the cart. The cart tips over and either the kid falls out and gets crushed by the cart, OR smashes his head on the floor. At least the carseat is a barrier as it hits the ground...am I right? Or someone tell me I'm stupid.. haha

This is what I was thinking too. I wasn't sure if people were not necessarily afraid of the cart falling over, but the car seat falling off of the cart.

Crap! CPhillz, now you are going to add to my irrational paranoia! What I'm going to tell myself is that the baskets have to follow safety regulations so they are reasonably safe. I'm already thinking about how dirty the carts are. What is wrong with me? I never used to be like this!

My Grandma used to say "I've got the trots!" and I never really understood what it meant. I thought she just had an overwhelming need to walk or trot somewhere because she would always get up and leave. Now I know she was going to the bathroom.

Now for my FFFC: to piggy back off of katieh: there are a lot of financial things I keep DH in the dark about. Like the bonus I got from work today. It's going in the savings and he just doesn't need to know. Because then he thinks that the amount of money he gives me out of his pay check should be less. Um no. I hate having that argument so I'd rather not say anything. (I handle our financials so this is how I can keep it a secret.)

Also I have been bugging DH about getting a cleaning lady too! Just to do the deep down cleans, like the bathroom and floors. It needs it so badly. I haven't mopped since DD was born. ::insert bug eyed smiley:: Yep, I guess that is another FFFC.

Not that I'm promoting not telling your dh, you can also buy gift cards at the grocery store for all sorts of things. I know ladies that buy small ones every time they go grocery shopping, then got to the mall or where ever and their DH's have no clue.

I thought this was so weird. And couldn't think why anyone would actually want one.
People want that because they think it's cute and it makes them kinda stupid.
It annoys the crap out of me that everyone is so rude about Obama. He is the president, he deserves respect as that weather you like him or not. I think the people bashing him saying that they are patriotic are actually being the most unpatriotic jackasses.

This. I'm a Republican, but it's drives me crazy seeing all of the disrespect for our President. I disagree with his views, but I know he is doing what he believes is right for this country. He's not some evil man.

I haven't shaved my legs in well over a week... I'm starting to look like a man.

Not many things make me laugh out loud but your interpretation of your grandma's "trots" really got me going.

I also know that last year he didn't come home to visit because he and his partner couldn't afford it. I also said that I was being irrational. All I could think was I was being irrational when it was happening.

My final thought was, why should I let this man I don't know let Pilar put his fingure in her mouth when I don't let friends do it. I give them a chew toy or switch their finger for her's.

But if it makes you guys feel better keep going.

Nothing wrong with ya. Many people must feel the same or so many stores wouldn't have those sanitizing wipe stations near the cart area.

I can get a bit "dotty" at times...

I hate when I go in the bathroom and It smells like poo then when I leave someone else is arriving and it seems like it was me. I feel wronged. When it is actually me though that caused the smell, I try to convey with a facial expression that it WASN'T me. Same goes for elevator farts.

My husband and I don't sleep in the same room most of the time since the baby. He snores so loudly, it makes me really angry to try to sleep next to him. Even with earplugs in I can hear it.

When a situation presents itself where we will have to share a room (aka his Mother stays over or this weekend we have a wedding and will have to stay in one room). It makes me anxious thinking about how I will get even less/worse sleep than usual.

I am embarassed to admit this to people IRL I'm not sure why. We have a great marriage in general (though I do sometimes speak to him disrespectfully and sometimes take a bit too long in fetching his sandwiches)

Me too. I'm ashamed to admit this to anyone IRL. I'm afraid it seems like we have a bad marriage or I'm a bad wife. I know it's because of the snoring (I can hear him from the basement) but it just sounds so bad. I"m also not much at fetching sandwiches so maybe I am a bad wife. .

I want to be pregnant again

I hated being pregnant. every pregnant woman I see, I'm like "aaawwww" and I get a little sad. I see lots of pregnant women. I want her to have a sibling but I am almost 40. too much to worry about. plus, I don't know how I'd feel if it was a boy. I was "team green" and I don't think I could do that again. I really didn't care what the sex was... I want a girl if I was going to have another.

I am with you on the first two parts. Sadly we have only been in the bed together 5 times at the most since Feb.
