Thought I'd have a little fun here...What were the circumstances during that time? Where were you? Were you technically "trying"?

I know we conceived DD while we had lots of company staying at our house for several days. But I knew my fertile window and just had to be sneaky..

With this one, DH and I hardly ever have time for sex anymore and never get to get away. But we managed to get away for DH's birthday and stay in a hotel and DD miraculously fell asleep early that night...Totally took advantage of the opportunity...lol Wasn't expecting to get pregnant since I was still BF'ing but it happens...

Anybody have other interesting events that led up to your present pregnancy??

This was the month I'd given up on and left it in God's hands. I quit temping, figured if we had sex EOD I'd be good, but then I was sure that missed the window...lol, guess not! I'm really not sure when we conceived so I'm anxiously awaiting our first u/s for a better idea on our due date!

DH and I only had sex this month on cycle day 21 and I got pregnant. I must have O'ed twice this month. We didn't use anything, so that's our fault, I guess! I was also in the process of scheduling a surgery date for bariatric surgery, so double shocker. We're rolling with it, though. This will be our third and last baby, so I'm just trying to soak up all the pregnancy fun.

Ours was this: we were not trying until August/September. I was charting and using OPKs to see when I O'd. We were using condoms. Surprise!

I take it you chart to know that you ovulate on CD15?

I was in the middle of a cancelled inject/IUI cycle because I only responded with my left ovary and I do not have a left tube.

The interesting part is that we've confirmed multiple times that I only ovulated from my left - so the egg released from my left ovary but made its way down my right fallopian tube and was fertilized and implanted.

The crazy interesting part was this happened to me in October. I ovulated from the right but the egg wound up in my left tube which was my ectopic and the loss of my left tube.

We had been actively trying with OPKs and temping for several months. The cycle we conceived, we were on vacation during my fertile window so I decided not to bother with OPKs and temping, but we were having sex frequently during the time frame I usually O. It looks like we conceived while on our trip to Disney World!

we were traveling, and trying, I was on Clomid, so I knew when my fertile window was, I was even using OPKs, yeah, the night I O'd.... we were staying at my parents' house, in the garage, on an air mattress.... its like impossible to have sex on an air mattress..... so.... that was fun trying to figure out, but we did...

ETA: either that or sperm was still alive from two nights before at the hotel, or egg was still alive for the car two nights later....

This was our first month trying for #2. We moved in with my in laws in oct., and will be here until the beginning of feb. We had to be very quiet while BD, and we were both really nervous his parents would come in. When we told them we were pregnant, my father in law said "how did this happen? You guys haven't had any private time." Awkward!

I had just gotten off of BC due to a bad reaction, so we were supposed to be using condoms for a while. We had decided that we would start trying for our 3rd later on this year. We were on our family Disneyland vacation and after we put the kids to sleep we all were drinking and having fun. Well, we got so tipsy that night that we didn't end up using a condom. I didn't think the chances were that high considering we had only had unprotected sex once, but yet here i am!

My brother had just moved in with us (2 bedroom condo) for the week before we moved into our house because his lease was up and he is renting our condo. This meant that we had to move DS out of his room and he was sleeping in the master bathroom (about 5 feet from the bed!) with a curtain blocking it off from the rest of the room. I've never charted or temped, but I had a pretty good idea that was "the" week. So DH and I just tried to be quiet and went for it!

We had just gotten off birth control and it was our first cycle of "not not trying" figuring that it would take a while for my ovaries to get rolling after 12 years of straight birth control. I was reading those books and feeling friskier and we BIO on day 10 and 16. Not a lot during the fertile wondow but definitely some quality booty and we were really surprised to see it worked!

It was only my second cycle after BCP, I was temping for the first time. But, I wasn't sharing the details with DH nor harassing him for sex during fertility week. DH and I were both very tired and stressed FW, but sure enough managed to get busy once. And once was enough!

We had been trying for a couple months and during that time my bil's gf and two of our good friends announced that they were pregnant so I was excited for them but it was pretty hard for me at the same time. Luckily it happened quickly for us though and our baby will have plenty of friends/cousins its age!

We had been trying every month. On month 4, we were exhausted from trying to do it on schedule and also a bit wounded because I had a CP the month before. We decided to take it easy for a month because of the CP and his work schedule - he was out of town for most of May. We ended up having sex once during the entire month and it happened to work

I love it though because we know exactly when it happened.

We had been trying for 9 months. The RE said we couldn't get pregnant naturally and didn't have high enough count for IUI so we were waiting to see improvement. I was still charting but no OPK's and surprise (kinda) we got pregnant.

We wanted to wait until July-August to try because of my job. I teach and I didn't want to take a lot of time unpaid. However, we went out one night two weeks ago while on vacation and that was that. DH is bummed that he was a one shot wonder.

We were at my mom's. My Step Father said he wasn't going to be able to look at the spare bed the same again.

We had been ttc #2 since November, but I didn't start trying to temp (I always fall off the wagon sometime after I O, lol) until January or February. I started using FF in May, which was a busy month and I thought the app for my Kindle would help me stay on top of things. I had 2 weekends of plays to be at for my work (I'm an after-school drama teacher). One of them was my "O" window and I was sick with an awful cold. However, I mustered up the energy for romance twice on that weekend...and then again a day or 2 later. I knew the window had passed but I didn't tell DH because I was "in the mood", lol!!

Those are both sad scenarios. Neither resulting in the eggs successfully entering the opposing Fallopian tube and leading to a successful pregnancy. If an egg gets out and transplants somewhere else that is scary, but not resulting in a normal healthy pregnancy.

With DS, we were actively TTC and conceived DS when we had sex because I had signs I was Oing.

This time, I was charting to avoid/using NFP and we had sex on CD10 which has always been "in the safe zone" for us before. Well, I happened to O right on CD14 which NEVER happens for me, and bam- his little swimmer lived 4 days, and here we are!

Well, I honestly have no idea. I have been having extremely long cycles, and was actually at the doctor discussing my PCOS and getting a RX for Provera since I thought I was on CD 93. They gave me an HPT to make sure I wasn't pregnant when the test came back positive. I should find out how far along I am today and be able to pinpoint conception. I am thinking this is a vacation baby though.

I just got my period back in Feb. after I quit nursing. I was charting but we weren't aiming for or avoiding certain days. DH and I went away for a weekend for our anniversary in May. While at dinner, we decided to start trying. We wanted LOs to be close in age and I wanted to have #2 before age 35 (I'm 33 now). With DS, we got pregnant on our honeymoon but I didn't want to assume it happen so quickly again. Apparently, we are just super-fertile because I found out a few days after the "let's start trying again" talk that I was already pregnant.

After two years of trying, DD was finally conceived on the 4th of July. We went up to Buffalo, where my DH grew up, to hang out with some of his extended family, who are very...earthy. We were totally drunk, hanging out with trailer trash, dropping the F-bomb left and right, and then went inside and "f*cked" -- I can't even say we made love, because that's not what it was. Lo and behold...BFP.

With this baby, we were driving home from selling our house in NJ (we now live in PA). DH suddenly got very needful of me, started groping at me in the car and saying "I really need my wife tonight" and was very urgently sentimental. We got home and made very passionate love, and lo and behold...BFP.

Both seemed like they were meant to be, in their own way.

We definitely were not trying/planning but I had been away for four months (yes, FOUR) so our reunion resulted in little bean. We were surprised especially because I knew I wasn't in my FW (which is why we were not as careful as usual) but now the shock has worn off and we are really excited!

We were trying. It was actually our very first month TTC and I really didn't expect that it would happen that month. First, because it took us nearly a year with DS, and second because my temps were kind of all over the place that cycle. TBH I wasn't 100% sure that I had O'd. I charted when TTC DS and then after that I charted to avoid and during the whole avoiding period my cycles looked textbook and of course the first cycle we're trying everything is wonky! It worked out though and obviously I actually did O when I thought I did. It was a really, really awesome surprise for it to happen so quickly this time.

Well I honestly didnt think I could get pregnant I have been off DeproVera since Oct 09 and my cycle never went back to normal. My SO has SUPER SPERM because his XW got pregnant while she was on her period.... So we just assumed that I couldnt get pregnant since we have been having unprotected sex for over a year now...

He went to FL for a week and the day he came back it was TWICE in a 30min time frame! I guess thats all it takes! lol We are beyond excited about this baby!
