I'm not sure if this has been asked recently. so forgive me if it has:)
DS takes 2-3 naps per day but he's been fighting the last one of the day lately. The problem is that if we just do 2, he's way too overtired before bedtime. And, I can't seem to space things out any differently.
What is everyone else doing??

Re: How many naps per day??
2 naps a day.
Her first is 2 hours after she wakes up, and then her second is 3 hours after she wakes up from her first nap. Then we try and put her to bed 4 hours after she wakes up from her last nap... sometimes she will go longer than that though.
She has been consistently taking 2 naps a day around 9 am and 1 pm-ish. If they are less than 1 hour long in length, then I usually try to get her to take a 3rd nap in the afternoon around 3:30 pm.
When we starting nap training 2 weeks ago, the naps started becoming longer. The first nap was 1.5 hours and the second one was lasting 2 hrs. Unfortunately, DD came down with her first cold only a week after the training started and I had to stop it temporarily. Hopefully she'll get back into the long naps routine once she gets over her cold!

anywhere from 1-3. At daycare he is refusing the morning nap but taking a really long afternoon nap. Sometimes he has a quick pre-dinner snooze.
At home, i try and get the morning nap, even if it means me laying down with him, afternoon nap, and evening all depends.
On a good day, 2 longish naps ranging from 1 hour-1.5 hours each. Depending on what time they fall and how long they are, some days she needs a 3rd nap. I find that if her second nap lasts until 3 pm or later, then she can make it until bedtime at 7 pm. If not, I try to squeeze in that 3rd nap but I don't let her sleep past 5 pm.
