My name is Trish. I assume our diagnosis would more be unexplained now instead of MFI. There is still a slight MFI but not much. We have been TTC for almost 3 years.
My favorite present that I received for Christmas was my certificate to a day at the spa. Now I just need to figure out when I want to go.
For New Years we are going to my friends house.
I'm alone and bored at home today waiting for my meds to be delivered (yay!), so entertain me in the meantime!
Our meds are being delivered today too! But I'm off and DH will be waiting around for Fedex...
1. Refresher: Who are you/What's your diagnosis/Why are you here? Lynda/MFI and primary testicular failure/here because this sucks too much to go through alone, and as much as I love my husband, I need the support of other women!
2. What was your favorite present you received this holiday and why? DH gave me the sweetest "coupons" for favors, written up in the form of limericks. One of them actually made me cry. Also, my mom gave us two plane tickets to visit her, and she made this elaborate display of sand and seashells to represent it (since she lives near the beach).
3. What TV show are a you most looking forward to getting back in business after this holiday lull? We don't have TV, but we love renting DVDs from the library -- luckily they don't have a holiday lull.
4. Do you have New Year's plans? What are they? Not yet! Need to check in with a few friends...
Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

My name is Angel. I have been married 4 1/2 years, TTC 21 months, one blocked tube and low SA. I came here for support, becuase I was going crazy with no one to talk to. And SOOO glad I came!

A spa package from my DH, because he never gets me presents. He's really bad at that!

I am newly addicted to Happily Ever After and American Horror Story.
4. Do you have New Year's plans? What are they?
I am a full-time stepmom to two wonderful boys, and this year we are all about family. We are taking them to an all night arcade, hanging out and ringing in the New Year together, as a family.

4. Not yet. I put DH in charge. I'm ok with just staying home or going out. He's looking around. We don't want to spend a lot of money but if we do, it has to be worth it.

Name is Katie. PCOS and Anovulatory. I am here for the support and because the 3T ladies (and gentleman) are AH-MAZING!
2. What was your favorite present you received this holiday and why?
DH got me a laptop! I am so excited as my desktop computer is ancient. We are just waiting for our computer guy to get everything set up, and then we will be good to go!

Not a big TV watcher, but I do love me some 2 Broke Girls!
4. Do you have New Year's plans? What are they?
No plans as of yet. DH has been talking to a few friends, but we haven't set anything up as of yet. To be honest, I kind of want to have a low key New Year's like we did last year - a movie in and some pizza or Chinese food!

04/25/11- 1st consultation with RE (Confirmed PCOS & Anovulation)
05/09/11-HSG-All clear! 05/13/11-SA-Normal. Found out on 2/14/12, low Morph (1%).
06/17/11-10 days of Clomid (100, 150) No response.
07/10/11-03/20/12- 5 Injectable (Follistim) IUI cycles; 4 BFN, 1 C/P. (stims ranged from 11 days to 25 days)
05/28/12-Diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. 75 mcg Synthroid.
IVF with ICSI in June/July 2013 = BFP!. Beta # 1 = 123. Beta # 2 = 252. Due March 25th. Baby boy arrived March 27, 2013!
FET #1 - 10/4/14 = BFP!! Beta #1 = 179. Beta # 2 = 499. Due June 22nd.

I'm Stephanie and don't have a diagnosis yet; I'm in the middle of the testing period. Last week was the HSG and surge testing. Tomorrow is my husband's SA and my 7dpo bloodwork. I started lurking when I scheduled the first RE appointment, and you have all been a tremendous source of information and inspiration. I have been so impressed by the courage and support here. (I've been sending everyone T&P's, which hopefully doesn't sound too creepy.) Your survey and need for amusement lured me out of lurking; I'd planned to wait until we had a diagnosis/follow-up to post.
2. What was your favorite present you received this holiday and why?
Either the earrings my husband gave me because they're blue and beautiful or my (not yet received) gift from my parents helping pay for a new iPhone.
3. What TV show are a you most looking forward to getting back in business after this holiday lull?
I don't watch much TV, though I have a lot of episodes of Castle to catch up on.
4. Do you have New Year's plans? What are they?
We're going to visit my extended family in central Illinois for our family gathering. I'm especially looking forward to seeing my grandmother, who I haven't seen since my grandfather's funeral in February. I have some mixed feelings about going, though, since my SIL just announced that she is pregnant. I'm totally thrilled for them, since she is annovulatory and all their attempts were medicated; I just hope that it doesn't become the overwhelming focus of the gathering.

1. Refresher: Who are you/What's your diagnosis/Why are you here? My DH and I have been TTC for going on three years (April is our TTC anniversary). I am annovulatory and we are both type 1 diabetics. We are currently TTA, going on BCP in January because I am in a clinical trial for my diabetes. Hopefully in 2013 we can begin re-testing and treatments!
2. What was your favorite present you received this holiday and why? My DH went in with my MIL and got me the new Nikon 1 camera! I was totally not expecting it and I was so excited!
3. What TV show are a you most looking forward to getting back in business after this holiday lull? Grey's Anatomy!
4. Do you have New Year's plans? What are they? We are having two of my best friends and their Fiance and BF over for snacks and champagne and watching the ball drop. Very low key but I am very much looking forward to it!
