We have a Rock N Play Sleeper, a bouncer (SnugABunny) and a Jumper.
Does the RNP kind of double as a swing or do you think we should get a separate swing as well?
Our
shower was this past weekend, so we got a bunch of goodies. We're going
shopping this coming weekend to buy what we still need.

Re: Is a swing necessary?
DD LOVED her swing. I could put her in there and she could watch me do whatever I was doing and was being rocked so she never fussed. It was great. She did not like her bouncer for longer than a couple minutes at a time. I don't have any experience with a RNP so I don't know if it would replace a swing.
By the time LO is into the jumper they won't want to sit still in the swing, so that doesn't really replace one or the other, in my experience.
It's looking like I'll end up buying one... lol
Maybe I'll wait and see if baby likes the bouncer and if not, then I'll send H to pick up a swing.
