morning sickness has hit me with a vengeance!

So the vomiting began this morning... I've been puking all day... I finally kept down toast about 3 hours ago and so then I tried ramen and that has stayed down too for now... but this morning I was eating saltines and it was 30 minutes later before I puked so we shall wait and see...I went into work and they gave me an IV and some phenergan...they had to stick me 5 times to get an iv though! I've NEVER had to be stuck more than once! The nurse said it was because I was dehydrated... but it still sucks to be stuck that many times... Hoping to be able to work tomorrow..

    Sorry, I had my first bout of puking today too. Hope you feel better. It sounds like zofran may be a good option for you to ask your doctor about...

    Mine started this morning too at 5:00.  Except it was mostly dry heaves because I hadn't eaten anything.  I tried Saltines too and was in the bathroom an hour later.  Nurse called in Zofran and I took it about an hour ago and have had a tiny appetite and have kept down toast.  Good luck!

    I feel your pain!  I hope you start to feel better.  Those fluids have got to help!

    i wish zofran would work for me :-( That's what I was given when I was having gallbladder issues and it never worked...work gave me phenergan, an IV, and the day off...I came back today and they're probably going to send me home early...
