Went to the doctor today for a pregnancy confirmation. Basically we debated the due date- LMP says Sept 30, FF says Oct 4. Which is important, I guess since I may be attempting a VBAC. We're doing an ultrasound on Feb 16th to date the pregnancy.
PS- I showed doc my chart to prove my my point. Preeeety sure she thinks I am crazy.
Anywhoo- I am really hoping to see some of my TTGP girls on the October board. Come play with me:)
Sounds like my first few trips to the doctor! They thought I should be 9 weeks when I was barely 5 weeks! So when they did the u/s the were all gloom and doom! Dumb doctors!
Not much going on right now, I have my NT scan tomorrow though!
I also wore a really comfy sweater to work today, and when I was making my lunch, DH goes "Aww look, you can see the baby in that shirt!"...so now I'm self conscious that you can see my itty bitty bump at work.
Good luck at your NT scan tomorrow!!! Can't wait to see more u/s pics of your LO!And awww to your little baby bump! Mine is still small too! But sometimes DH will look at it and be like...wow there is really a baby in there, its getting big! haha.
I am hoping ours cooperates so we can see the gender this weekend!
And btw I was so mad I had to miss the GTG last weekend! I was so disappointed, but I felt like total crap, and now I am feeling much better this week! Apparently...don't get sick while pg, its way worse :P
I wondered where you were, DC! Glad to hear you're feeling better now, but so sorry we missed you!
Last week we had a follow up anatomy scan to get better pictures of the babys heart but it turned out they found a spot in his stomach called an "echogenic focus." They're fairly common in the heart and bowl, but not the stomach.
It could be an u/s glitch, could go away on its own or it could be a marker for a chromosomal abnormality.
We meet with a fetal specialist this Friday for a Level II u/s and hopefully find out that everything is ok.
Keep my little man in your thoughts
Sending loads of T&Ps your way, Kerr!! (((hugs)))

missed miscarriage discovered at 11 weeks, natural miscarriage at home one week later 9/13
Hiya ladies! It still hasn't sunk in for me. Had my first beta draw yesterday, and go back tomorrow. I also had to collect all my pee for 24 hours for a protein check. Good times. Almost ran out of room in the container (you would think they would be smart enough to make bigger containers for pregnant women).
Hoping my betas look good, and that maybe hearing the results will make it a little more real.
First u/s in two weeks - can't wait!
Mama to 5 angel babies, 1 rainbow baby, and 2 more angel babies.
Hey, all! I was absent for the last check-in because I was busy with my baby boy! Colin was born Monday, 1/17 at 3:52 pm. He was 7 lbs, 8 oz and 20 in. long. I labored 21 hours and ended up having an emergency c-section. You can see a few pics here: https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/48154514.aspx
We are both doing well.. I am so, so in love with this little person. I can't even explain it. I hope everyone here is great!

Woohoo I am actually going to catch this today! (I'm west coast and the thread is usually dead by the time I log on)
Not a *whole* lot to share this week. I go for my 36 week check up today and have my GBS test done.. I'm meeting one of the other OB's in the office and I'm a little nervous about that but I'm sure it will be fine. I'm moving right along, uncomfortable, and feeling like I'm running out of time to get everything done. DH and I put the carseat bases in the cars this weekend and cleaned them out really well so that's done finally.
We went for a 3d/4d ultrasound a couple of weeks ago- here's one of our baby boy's smiley faces
and here's me at 35 weeks 3 days
I hope everyone else is doing well!
How adorable, I love the smiley face!!

Hey ladies! I miss it here! Nothing really excitingly new to report and trust me you don't want to see a pic of this belly! It's NOT cute (just fat/bloated). So you can stop reading this here and skip to the next post if you so choose.
I've had pretty constant nausea the last few days. Nausea isn't fun. ( . ) ( . ) <-- Huge, sore, veiny, and as my husband says "taunt" (I've corrected him 1,000 times, but he doesn't believe me that it's "taut").
I've also been dumber than usual, if you can imagine. After shopping for 45 minutes in Wal-Mart, I go to add toilet paper to my cart and notice that nothing is in it. Not my purse or any of the 100 items I had spent the majority of the last hour carefully picking out. So I literally sprinted across the aisles (picture me doing graceful leaps over children and floor displays) only to find my cart next to the last item I purchased, untouched. Moral of the story is Me + Prengancy = Stupid.
Wishing everyone a BFP &/or H&H9's!
lol That's too funny, Natkay! I miss you on this board.

As of Friday I'm no longer a "Grad", our baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. I'm just waiting to miscarry naturally. We aren't going to try again, we're going to move on to adoption. I wish all of you ladies the best of luck for a healthy & happy pregnancy!

Oh my goodness, congratulations Sbux! I remember your BFP and now he's here! Enjoy him.
I guess I should have posted here yesterday, but since I just posted my BFP, I felt strange. My first appointment is set for Feb. 7th. The only bad thing is that I think my random cold may have turned into bronchitis and my temp keeps going up. Thank goodness for tylenol! No fun, but I'm trying to rest and hope I start to feel better soon, so I can really enjoy this and tell my family - cross your fingers I feel better by this weekend.
Congratulations to all of the grads! All of the bumps and ultrasound pics are great to see.
I'll be thinking of you, kerri. Hope everything turns out OK.
