TTGP Grad Check-In

Re: TTGP Grad Check-In

  • Hi ladies! It is so awesome to see everyone and their cute little bumps and u/s pics Smile

I had a little bit of a scare on Sunday as I started having some brown spotting. I went in for an ultrasound and everything looks great! They measured me at 5w6d, so only 1 day behind where I thought I was. But they did see the gestational and yolk sacs and our little Poppy (we call it that since it was the size of a poppyseed last week and it stuck, haha). We could see the flickers of the heartbeat, but since it was so early, they couldn't get a measurement. The nurse did warn us before not to panic and even said she was very surprised that we could see anything being that it was so early.

The spotting has pretty much stopped and I won't know until Thursday at the earliest if they want to repeat the ultrasound in a couple of weeks. I figured maybe at our first appointment, but we'll see.

    Hey hey everyone!

Everything is going well so far.  I had a little bit of spotting on Friday, but called the doctor and everything is okay (it only lasted a little while on Friday).  We told our parents Friday and Saturday...so that was fun!  MIL actually screamed a little bit...lol

First nurse appointment is 2 weeks from tomorrow...and the u/s is 3 weeks from tomorrow.  :)

Found out yesterday that I have mono...(no harm to the baby)....so I cant work for at least a week. :(  I will be bumping quite a bit more this week :)

Hope you all are doing well!!!

Hope you feel better kj!!! Can't wait to see your bump and u/s pics!!!!

  • No bump pics yet, but we had our first appointment yesterday and it went great! Doctor said everything looked just fine... baby was measuring right on track (9w3d) and heartbeat was 161. It was just amazing to hear that heartbeat, and we could see his/her arm wiggling all around.

  • Hey ladies!! Loving the baby bumps!! No bump photo hear yet, just all bloat I think...

Update: having major insurance issues w/ my company, so its all OOP for us this time around.. unless it hits 10K in bills.. furious but there is nothing they will do now.. still looking into more options

Other than that m/s is starting to slow down and Im feeling like I have more energy during the day. Next week is our big appointment to hear the hb and we can't wait! Also my 1st appt w/ my Midwife on the 3rd!

Good luck to all those testing soon!!

Man I miss you girls so much!!!

I don't really have any symptoms except getting tired easily. Last night I did some cleaning and laundry and was exhausted just after 30 minutes! Had some cramping over the weekend but thats about it. I have an appt with a nurse next monday and one with my OB Feb. 21st. After that appt we will tell everyone else (minus work). We told my parents this past weekend!

Awww I missed your BFP!! Congrats!!!

Good to 'see' everyone! Things here are good. I feel exhausted pretty much all the time but won't complain. I have an appt on Tuesday and plan is to hear the HB :) I can not wait!!!! We saw it on ultrasound but haven't heard it yet. Can't wait for Tuesday to get here!!!

As for a bump ... I just look bloated and chubby. I'll be waiting to post until it actually looks like there's a baby in there! Wink

    Big Smile  SmileParty!!!

It's so great seeing you here. I can't wait for your doppler appointment!

  • I don't have any bump pictures yet--I plan to start at 10 wks. Right now it just looks like I've eaten too many cookies anyways :(

No new news to report--my next appt is on Feb 15 when I'll be exactly 12 wks. We are considering "go public" about the pregnancy sometime this week, since we heard the H/B and saw the baby--but not sure yet. Morning sickness is almost gone, just some lingering nausea and still have the sore boobs. Other than that--everything's great!

  • Well, I've only been gone for a whole 24 hours, so not much has changed. Big Smile Had my first beta yesterday (636!  YAY!), and I'll have another tomorrow.  Possibly a third on Friday.  No bump/bloat yet, obviously.  I'm just really tired but so ecstatic I hardly notice.

So great to see all the news and bumps!  Best of luck to everyone, TTGPers and grads!

  • Hi all!

I am just over 6 weeks and will go to the doctor for my first ultrasound on the 7th. No bump yet, just bloat. My boobs are huge and so sore, I get so nauseous if I get hungry (no throwing up yet thankfully), and I am sleeping 11 hours a night, only to still be so exhausted the next day.

I hope to not have a bump picture to share for quite a while, but maybe I'll have an u/s picture in a couple weeks to share.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

  • Hi ladies! Congrats to all the recent BFPs - I love reading them.

MrsBaker - I'm so excited that you get to feel the babies move - I can't wait to experience it!

L&R - I vote for boy as well.

I have been doing so so this past week. We hit the 14 week mark this past weekend and my nausea and m/s (actually I'm sick all day) don't appear to be going anywhere. My doctor prescribed me Reglan to help with my severe indigestion and heartburn; it's been so bad that I'm afraid to eat anything because it makes me sick. I'm a little apprehensive about taking it but I need some help.

Here is a pic of my little bump. I had yet to take any bump pics but my DH insisted I had something worth photographing now.

  • Hey Everyone!! I hope ya'll are doing well.  I have been doing good lately, just tired in the evenings when I get home from work.  This past weekend I felt baby girl kick from the outside of my belly for the first time.  Feeling her moving around is the my favorite part of being pregnant!  Here is a pic I took this morning in the lovely bathroom here at work LOL!

  • I updated already since last Tues. but for those who didn't read it, my initial amnio results came back NEGATIVE for Trisomy 18.  That was a huge relief.  We have since bought a crib and nursery bedding, and the nursery is underway.  I told my class on Friday about the baby...they are SO excited.

Here is my 18 week bump pic:

ETA:  This is, as always, a post and run.  I hate that I can't bump from work.  I will have to read everyone's updates later.

Hey ladies! I miss it here! Nothing really excitingly new to report and trust me you don't want to see a pic of this belly! It's NOT cute Ick! (just fat/bloated). So you can stop reading this here and skip to the next post if you so choose.

I've had pretty constant nausea the last few days. Nausea isn't fun.  ( . ) ( . ) <-- Huge, sore, veiny, and as my husband says "taunt" (I've corrected him 1,000 times, but he doesn't believe me that it's "taut").

I've also been dumber than usual, if you can imagine. After shopping for 45 minutes in Wal-Mart, I go to add toilet paper to my cart and notice that nothing is in it. Not my purse or any of the 100 items I had spent the majority of the last hour carefully picking out. So I literally sprinted across the aisles (picture me doing graceful leaps over children and floor displays) only to find my cart next to the last item I purchased, untouched. Moral of the story is Me + Prengancy = Stupid.

    Wishing everyone a BFP &/or H&H9's!

That's soo funny! Thank God no one got your purse!!!

  • Hi ladies!!  Just over 6 weeks, my first appointment is tomorrow, cannot wait!  Nausea has set in pretty strong, boobs are still incredibly sore and I can't stay awake past 8:30 p.m., but it's all pretty bearable.  Way to early for a bump pic, the bloat is major, and it's not pretty Smile

  • Well, 39 weeks today! And huge.....

    image

Planning for a VBAC, so I either have to go on my own before 42 weeks, or I will have a section scheduled for the 42 week. I am going to get acupuncture today, in hopes that it helps push my body. I thought I was in labor on Sunday, to the point where I had called all my "people" and had them ready. Then it stopped. So I know it's coming soon, and hope that this acupuncture can push me over the edge!

Knowing me, I will go into labor at 41w4d or something....

  • Hi Girls!

Went to the doctor today for a pregnancy confirmation. Basically we debated the due date- LMP says Sept 30, FF says Oct 4. Which is important, I guess since I may be attempting a VBAC. We're doing an ultrasound on Feb 16th to date the pregnancy.

PS- I showed doc my chart to prove my my point. Preeeety sure she thinks I am crazy.

Anywhoo- I am really hoping to see some of my TTGP girls on the October board. Come play with me:)

  • Hi Guys!  I'm 13 weeks, 2 days! I can't wait till tomorrow when I'll be officially in the 2nd Trimester no matter what counting system you use.  I have my next ob appointment next Wednesday (February 2).

     Here's my entering the 2nd Trimester mini-bump.

  • Hi Ladies!

I'm doing well - nothing new to report.  I'm still not really showing much, so no bump pics to post (sorry).  I had my first appointment with my MFM and I really like him - he'll be handling the rest of my pregnancy since my LOs are such high risk.

I have a u/s scheduled at 17 weeks to start checking for TTTS - I'll be having them pretty regularly from then on.  I hoping we can find out the sexes at that u/s.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

  • I'm a bit late to the party but:

Last week we had a follow up anatomy scan to get better pictures of the babys heart but it turned out they found a spot in his stomach called an "echogenic focus." They're fairly common in the heart and bowl, but not the stomach.

It could be an u/s glitch, could go away on its own or it could be a marker for a chromosomal abnormality.

We meet with a fetal specialist this Friday for a Level II u/s and hopefully find out that everything is ok.

Everything is going well over here. Still have m/s but it isn't as intense anymore - meaning I dont end up with my head between my knees trying to hold it together. All I can say is ginger candies and popcicles are my friends right now.

The last U/S could see the heart fluttering away and the little bugger wiggling all over the place. My NT scan is Feb 8th so praying that goes well! My bloat bump has trimmed down a little the past week. Not so squishy and a little more firm. H says I am showing - I tell him I just like carbs right now. Mac & Cheese rocks Embarrassed

Good luck at your NT scan tomorrow!!! Can't wait to see more u/s pics of your LO!And awww to your little baby bump! Mine is still small too! But sometimes DH will look at it and be like...wow there is really a baby in there, its getting big! haha.
