My friend told me her sister did, I couldnt possibly imagine having the energy to blowdry my hair. I was planning on just pulling it back into a tight bun or scruching it up. I also dont think Im going to bring makeup, I havent really worn it much lately and dont think i'll want to deal with putting it on. Anyone else?
Re: Are you bring a blow dryer to the hospital?
Yes, I'm not sure if I'll use it, but in general I feel so much better after I shower, dry my hair, and put on mascara. It really isn't about who will see me either. I just feel better when I'm clean and have decent looking hair. Mine is wavy and looks like a frizz ball if I don't dry it.
I just visited a friend in the hospital about 12 hrs after delivery. She was wearing normal clothes (yoga pants and a tank), had her hair up, and had on basic makeup. She said before she got ready and fixed her hair she felt horrible, but afterwards she felt refreshed and in a much better mood. I kind of think I'll feel the same way.
If I'm too lazy to blow dry it everyday, I don't think I'll feel up to blow drying it after just having a baby. Same thing with make up.
