I got the impression this was all on the FB group. There's not really anything to hash out, just random people still announcing it to us stragglers that aren't in the group.

My heartfelt apologies to the people bothered by talking about this "again" (to me it's a first)... I guess it is hard not to click on threads that don't interest you. Or maybe the title of my post was somehow misleading for some people? lol

You know at the time that troll first came along a poster who had studied psychology suggested that it might be someone who was friends with duhdaisy trying to create a situation in which she could prove her worth by defending her. And then everybody proceeded to stomp and flame that poster, saying it would take a sick person to even think of something like that. And yet here we are, and the truth is even sicker! LOL

And she was one of the most trusted and respected members of their "select" gang... everybody jumped in to defend her and then accused every newbie or anyone who posted anything they didn't like of being THE troll... hahahaha

I mean, the purple nurple thing is just sad, but this duhdaisy/mommy2b77 episode is just priceless! It grew and developed like an internet soap opera. Boy did she take them for a ride!

Oh, I wish I weren't as amused as I am right now... but alas I am just a mere mortal after all...

No, that was her. I think the money was for a present to someone else, and it was all done via FB. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details because I am not always bumping and I don't even have a FB account (not that I would have been invited to or allowed to join their group anyhow, hehe), so I don't see a lot of stuff. It is part of the fun of this moment, you know, finally having access to all the pieces of the puzzle and passing them along.

Anyway, this troll, an obvious AE, mommy2b came on the board saying duhdaisy was stealing the money and that the FB group were a bunch of b!tches and stuff. People kept responding to her and defending duhdaisy. Get this: even after they had finally figured out that it would be best to not reply (duh), they kept clicking on her posts and replying saying "don't reply". I even showed it to DH one night. His comment was "dance puppets, dance". lol I think a lot of people jumped at the chance to proved themselves worthy of the GB group... or maybe they weren't so restrictive at that time... well, whatever.

Moving on. Dear duhdaisy was acquitted and duly defended... but the troll never really went away after that. Several different people were accused of being behind the mommy2b AE, even workingmom/purple nurple. lol

Then it finally passed. And I stayed away for months. Then I get in today and - surprise, surprise! I see that DD post. The only thing that pains me is that I don't know how she was found out, or even the extent of the damage she caused. By what I read on the DD post it does seem that she took some money, because they refer to brand new stuff she has. But I may be reading too much into it...

And no, I'm not a part of the FB - the whole FB, not just the group. Can't handle it - too much, you know? I am one of those people - FB, twitter, orkut (still very big here in Brazil)? Exhausting. I don't know how people do it. I much prefer e-mailing or some real life contact. The social networks just don't do it for me, I think.

Anyway, if you can set the record straight, then by all means do. But don' get all "butt-hurt" as people here say, just because you are now on the other end of the rope...

As an infrequent lurker who has made maybe 5 comments in the past year, this is super confusing. I've read everything. Well, with the exception of the FB group, I'm not in that... no tears though, I've come to terms with that (heavy sarcasm implied). And I just don't get this. Do people really have enough time on their hands to make up fake babies and lives and then in turn get people on some board so upset? What a sad life. I'm glad you guys figured this out?

I have no idea what happened happened on the fb group, I'm not a member, but it baffles me that a grown woman feels the need to create so much drama. I left junior high long time ago. Are people that desperate for attention they need to create drama?

There was definitely a baby. Someone found her FB profile and it was public for a while and it her mom and friends/family commented on it and also had pics of the baby.

That is so sick then to pretend your baby died for attention! I wanted to throw up when I found out it was fake.

And here it is, posting to this very day, a lovely little souvenir, a remnant of all that dramma past, flattering me with it's presence on this thread by showing everyone that the poster is deeply bothered by it and yet feels so intimidated by me that needs an AE to do her heckling.

Let's all hope twatwaffle stays with us forever, becoming embedded in the bump's folklore, so that the whole duhdaisy incident may never be truly forgotten... I mean, the woman worked hard for her fame, let's keep on bestowing it upon her. Wink

BTW, twatwaffle came up on TB I think almost at the end of the whole thing, so I imagine that the date of her joining (04-04-11) is close to the dates of the troll threads. In case anyone cares to take a look...

Just for clarification - twatwaffel is NOT duhdaisy. Also, Duhdaisy received no money from what was collected. It was used to buy flowers and a stuffed puppy and a gift card for me after I went in to preterm labor and subsequently delivered my daughter at 23w3d.

and just for the record, the FB group is not a secret group so we can all sit around and talk sh!t and create drama. We don't just not let people in just because. We are selective because it is Facebook and has our personal information and we are not going to just let anyone from the bump in. CLEARLY there are crazies out there.
