    We call Riley "buddha" she is so chubby!!! LOL

    DH doesn't like bump names. He gets mad when I call it 'my little parasite', so I've started calling it the squidge. Eventually, I will prevail :D

    Haha I thought we were the only ones who refer to our little one as a "parasite" though we later added "Adora" (as in one who is to be adored) so we wouldn't get comfortable or slip our possible names.

    My daughter likes to call him "baby he" , but I call him my little monkey. My daughter's neckname was peanut and my older son's was boo boo or dewbug.

    DH and my mom would yell at me when I called DD Cletus.  Cletus the Fetus.  It was only when she was doing things like kicking me in the ribs or kneeing me in the stomach.  "Knock it off, Cletus."

    We're calling our little one "Mooner"  

    We got our first ultrasound, and in a 3D shot, got a clear beautiful picture of baby's backside.  :)

    Wombat, because we had implantation bleeding.  DH thought it was funny when I explained the concept and started with the nickname because baby had "burrowed" in like a wombat lol.

    I call my little him/her "DayGo" because wherever I go - DayGo! :) I know its really corny and I think there is a slight "nasty" joke using the same kind of word but I just started calling him/her that. Whenever anyone asks I always say cause where I go DayGo. :)

    We started with Sprout when he was just a little tiny thing in there (which my mom still uses a lot), then I called him Butterfly when we saw his first little flutter of a heartbeat, and then Thumper for a couple days when we heard his heartbeat for the first time.  Ever since we found out he is a "he", my husband has been calling him "Little Man".

    We are due in June so I call him/her "Junebug".  Hubby thinks that's too feminine should we turn out to be having a boy.  I think it's a girl though.  I guess the next ultrasound will be the judge!  If it turns out to be a boy we might start calling him "Junior" even though we're not naming him after hubby.

    It has now been named the Packing Peanut... When DH saw the first ultrasound he said it looked like a Packing Peanut... I guess it stuck. lol

    We call our little one 'Squirt' - Hubby started it and now that is what he/she is referred to by family and friends!!

    We were calling the baby "tadpole" before we lost it. I even made a tadpole faves folder on my computer. I miss my little tadpole but we are going to try again soon.

     

    My DH was also calling it "shoulders" because I was scared of delivering shoulders. My DH nicknamed my brother "heed" because he has a big head so he said when the baby was around my brother they would be "heed and shoulders"

    You guys are all a lot more kind than we are! We call ours "Monster" generally, or when we hadn't told anyone yet, we referred to it as "puppy" when in public. "Monster" is actually a joke from my great-aunt's childhood, but we don't really call it anything endearing our cutesy. When it's making me sick, I tell my DH "YOUR CHILD is.. (insert offense here)"

    Before we found out for sure I was pregnant we called him Maybe Baby.  After we got the BFP we called him Sticky Baby so he would stick around.  After the first ultrasound when we saw the heartbeat, the tech said see that flicker there is the heartbeat, we called him Flicker the rest of the pregnancy right through L and D.  After he was born his name is Braiden but I call him my little Braiby.

    IF I ever concieve..:) (Sorry I'm currently in the 2WW). I don't know what I will call it..my husband will probably call it Swimmer/Swimmy because he keeps asking if I have anything swimming in there..Who knows.

     My cousin calls hers Cletus which is short of :::cringes::: Cletus the Fetus.

    My mom had a dream not too long after she found out that we were pregnant that I had an 18 pound little boy and insisted on naming him Sherman....I guess like the tank cause he was so sturdy. Anyway, ever since then 'Sherman' has stuck. At times my dad will shorten it to "Shermie". Too funny.

    Cletus.  As in Cletus-the-Fetus.

     I am comforted to see that someone else does that too.  My husband is afraid he'll be stuck with it once he comes along. ;)

    DH and I call ours either yoshi or baby bean! Who knows if those will stick, I tend to think of other little nicknames pretty randomly..so we'll see...lol
