DS woke up at 3:30 this morning so I'm buying an OK to wake clock today. I wasn't expecting so many options. If you have one that you like or don't like, please tell me about it. Thanks.
This clock is battery operated. Love it. DS who used to like to get up at the crack of dawn now knows that if his clock is not glowing green, he needs to go back to sleep. I also used it for nap/quiet time.
I was just talking to a mom at story time about this. She said she got one from the One Step Ahead catalogue and it worked great. I'm thinking about it, but I think DD is a little young to understand.

The reviews say it only stays green for 30min. How does that work for your son if he sleeps late and misses the green?

uummm.... good question. It's almost been a year since we purchased it and I can not say we had this issue..... interesting though.....

You can change the amount of time the light stats green. We have ours set for 1 hour.
I love this clock because it has a separate nap timer, which means I don't gave to reset it all the time. I really wanted a nap timer because my son would sleep for 30 minutes then want to get up and be cranky the rest of the day. We set it for 2 hours and now he usually sleeps most of that time since he's not allowed out of his room until it turns green.
I wish this clock could be plugged in, but I really wanted a nap timer and couldn't find a clock with both options.
It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!
