Now that I know what it looks like, I actually lost a small bit around 18 weeks.  I described it to my OB and she wasn't at all concerned.

your mucous plug can rebuild itself. If you lose some, it's NBD. No need to go to the hospital. It's just some extra snot inyour panties.

I remember losing mine around 26ish weeks and it continuing to grow back and fall out again in small pieces for ages. Tons of fun!

OSC - when I lost mine around 39 weeks with DS, it was pretty big and blood tinged (sorry for the visual) but with this pregnancy, I definitely have random snot looking globs on the TP from time to time. (sorry again!!)   Anyway do you think you lost the whole thing or just a little bit of it.  I think that would make a difference.  Either way though, I understand your fear...      Maybe put a call in to the OB and let them know/see if they have anything to say?
