Right here...feeling like nothing is happening.  I am anxious to have my u/s so I can have proof that something is really growing in there.  (Also nervous because this pregnancy is the result of my first Frozen Embryo Transfer, I have a daughter from an IVF in 2007).

I feel exactly the same way! My first appointment is with my new doctor's PA to get all of the medical history and junk out of the way on the 30th and I won't see Dr. S or have an ultrasound until 4 weeks after that. I don't want to wait until the end of September to see/hear Button so I think I'm going to go get a doppler and maybe we'll hear the heartbeat!

I have very few symptoms too! No morning sickness as of yet, a little cramping, and some fatigue. I can't wait until the 29th when we go get our first u/s! It'll feel more real and we're waiting to tell our families until after the appt so I'm super anxious.

I feel the same way. I had this vision of instantly feeling "pregnant"...nope, nothing but sore boobs ;) Two weeks until my first Dr. appt where there will be more tests. I'd like to know the hcg level now.

I am nervous because I'm not nauseous! I know I should be thankful, lol. I have the sore boobs, cramps (which still make me stressed even though it's normal) and fatigue.  I have told a few close friends and family already, I have no ability to keep my trap shut! Plus, I'm so excited! I am 38 and this is my first. We've been trying for 10 months, I was almost ready to start fertility stuff. I feel like I'll jinx it by looking at names and telling people but I can't help it :)

I feel the exact same way!!! I started with sore boobs and frequent urination, but other than that I'm feeling great.  I can't wait to see the doctor this week for some more proof:)  I'll say a prayer for you.

I am 6 weeks and I am going today to the doctor for my first ultrasound. I had an ectopic in 2008 and he wants to make sure the baby is where it should be. I feel completely different than I did then, and I have no symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy. Hoping everything goes well today... Say a prayer for me!

I feel the same way. Having nausea throughout the day, sore breasts, fatigue, frequent urination and strange dreams. Tomorrow is my first Dr's appt and I'm really excited/nervous to find out if everything is okay. I hope he can find the heartbeat on the u/s. I currently live in Beirut, Lebanon, so am very thankful that I found an OB that is American trained and certified.

I found out last Friday that I'm pregnant at 5wk 1 day!!! The happiest news I've ever heard:) My husband and I had been trying since April. Considering I was on the pill for 8yrs I had no idea it would happen this quickly. I'm beyond excited! According the health department I am exactly 6 weeks today. My first doctor's appointment is Saturday! The only symptoms I'm having are going to the bathroom more and feeling nauseated ALL day long. I've had heartburn for years now so I'm not sure if that is bothering me by not being able to take Nexium right now....OR....a regular symptom.    GOOD LUCK LADIES & CONGRATS ON YOUR LIL SWEET PEA!!!!!

I know how some of you ladies feel!  I don't necessarily "feel" pregnant all the time either!  The first few days after I found out I had intense swelling and a pressure/pulling sensation along with really sore boobs and peeing constantly.  But now at week 6, the cramping has lessened, and my boobs are still sore, but not as much.  The thing I'm fighting most right now is being tired.  I have my first appointment on the 9th, so I'm pretty excited about that.  Good luck to everyone out there!

Hi! my name is Natalie. I am either on the end of 5 weeks or just starting my 6th week and having my first baby.  You and I sound like we are going through similar symptoms. I was on birth control for 8 years and my husband and I have been trying since February.  Why do you have a doctor appointment already? Mine isn't until Sept 19th and I feel like that day will never get here. Well anyway I just thought we related so I wanted to say hi.

I am still getting used to this website. I meant for my message to go to Amanda but I did want to say hi to everyone else in week 6. We haven't told anyone we are pregnant yet so it will be nice to talk to other women going through the same thing. Any first time moms in their late 20s?

I am 19 years old and this will be my first. We were trying for four months before it happened. I found out by a HPT right after I hit 4 weeks that I was holding a precious angel inside me. I've got nausea without vomiting, fatigue but also insomnia during the night, and sore boobs. I'm trying to be excited but I'm still very scared of the M word since it's so early on. I've only told close friends and family but my husband is telling everyone he sees, making it a little more stressful on my part :/

    @ BlessedMomma09:

I have my first appointment on the 30th too and is also with my doctor's PA. She didn't tell me if we'll be doing the first u/s or not, I hope I don't have to wait another month though! This is my first pregnancy and I just need to see or hear something that will make me believe it's real.

Hi everyone... Well im a little bit.. ok im extrememly nervous.. im about 61/2 weeks pregnant and after reading everything everyone is writing about how they arnt experiencing pregnancy symptoms make me nervous... I've been nauseas just about every day/ every other day for the past two weeks, breast tenderness(!!), craving, mood swings, and frequent urination... is it possible that the HCG levels are really high within me right now?  or is this just completely normal?

Hi! I just joined this site today, mostly because I was hoping to find some people at the same stage that I'm at...six week 8/28.  I'm 29 and this is our first.  We found out a week ago and had been trying for about two months.  We've told our family and some of our close friends, but I keep reading and reading and everyone has such a different experience that my head is spinning!  So far I haven't really had any symptoms except for some cramping, but my mom never did either.  How are you feeling?

I'm also 29, pregnant with my first and VERY excited. I'm @6 wks and I have my first US scheduled in 2 days (can't wait). I can't believe that some people have to wait so long to get an US. It would just kill me. I think it has to do with your insurance and/or doctor. My insurance said that they would cover any US that the doctor thinks is necessary. We are going to tell our parents after the US. I hope we can hear a heartbeat. I have very sore breasts, cramping, I have to pee all the time and I'm tired. I'm avoiding nausea by eating every three hours which seems to really work. So good to talk to others about this stuff.

I'm six weeks today and tomorrow I'm going for my third U/S.  The first one was given because I felt cramping and the sonogram showed that I had two gestational sacs, which essentially means twins.  They told me not to get to excited b/c many times one doesn't develop.  The following week I had some spotting and went in for a second U/S that showed only one healthy gestational sac =(  That was a little sad, but at least I have a healthy one.  Tomorrow I'm going for another U/S that will hopefully allow me to hear the heart beat.  My PA said that if I didn't have that first U/S I would've never known about the twins so my point is that sometimes it's better to wait for that 8 or 9 week visit for an U/S because you could save yourself some heartache.  I will say that it is soooo hard not to worry.  I hope that everything goes well tomorrow. Here's to positive thoughts for all of you!

I am 30 years old, 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and VERY nervous (my first pregnancy). The symptom that has me most concerned is the occasional cramping but I have also been dealing with very sore boobs, fatigue, occasional morning sickness and the constant need to use the bathroom! I am also thirsty ALL the time-drinking water constantly-anyone else? We have only told our immediate family and one set of friends (bc they figured it out). My dr apt is scheduled for 9/7 with a sonogram. Will we hear the heartbeat at 7 1/2 wks? Wishing well to all the bumpies out there!

I'm 6 weeks today and haven't had a ton of symptoms.  The most common are fatigue, sore boobs, major bloating at night, and some cramping.  Last night it felt like someone was jaming their foot down into my pelvis.  There was a ton of pressure and like my pelvis was stretching.  I finally fell asleep and today nothing to speak of just REALLY tired.

I also am going for my first doctor's appt on the 9th...one week from today.  Hopefully they will do an u/s, but I'm not sure.  I'm 28 and this is my first pregnancy.

     Congrats ladies!

i'm 28 and this is my first pregnancy :) .... i am soooo excited but also scared.  I don't feel pregnant, but i do have some symptoms.  i've had cramping since week 4 but now its less than it was 2 weeks later, sore boobs (especially when i get up in the morning), peeing ALL the time, and i'm super tired.  no m/s at all.  I don't have my first dr appt until sept 16 (thats 8 weeks for me) i wish it was sooner.  I want to see actual proof that i'm pregnant (even though i took 3 pregnancy tests). We've only told my parents because i needed to be able to talk to someone about it and my mom is really helpful with ideas of what to eat and stuff...  but pretty much i just couldn't keep it in!  but we won't be telling anyone else until week 13.  wishing everyone the best of luck!! :)

My husband and I are both scared and excited. I've taken care and raised babies/kids before. Raising a kid is not the scary part for me. Being pregnant is the scary part. And after being there while my baby sister gave birth to her baby girl, I'm terrified of giving birth.

I've still got a ways to go and I'm taking one step at a time, but I'm glad there is a site that is as supportive as this one.

This is my second pregnancy; first resulted in a miscarriage.  My husband and I are both very excited about this one but also scared and nervous.  We can hardly wait till our first appt. on the 22nd, when we'll be able to see our little one and hear his/her heartbeat.  We haven't really told anyone yet, just a few friends.  Wanted to wait to tell our parents will we saw them in person, the weekend after our u/s.  I've had sore and swollen breasts, along with low back pain and mild cramping (but it's been sporadic).  Other than that, not really feeling anything just yet, which makes me worry, but I've been told I really won't feel anything till at least week 8.

Hi, my name is Jessica and this is also my first pregnancy.  I have been stressed by the M word too and my husband is also not helping by telling everyone he knows.  But I am sure you will get to that first trimester without worry.  I definitely know how you feel.

Hello everyone!  Found out a few days ago we're expecting our second child! A little bit nervous about the age difference.  It looks like my son will be just over 2 years old when this one comes and now I'm thinking we should have waited longer!  Oh well, I'm happy to be pregnant again!  I really enjoyed my pregnancy with my son and hoping this one is as easy!

Have had symptoms that I don't quite remember having so soon with my last one.  Mainly, I'm not sleeping well at night and am extremely fatigued during the day.  Also I've had a lot of heartburn the last several days which I definitely didn't have until month 7 or 8 with my son.  Luckily I've still got some pregnancy-safe antacids left.

Am planning to pursue a VBAC so I've been doing a lot of research on that.  Don't have an appointment scheduled yet with my OB, hopefully I can get one next week.  We haven't told a soul yet and that has been very difficult for me!  Planning to wait until after initial appointment with the doctor (hopefully we can tell people next week! I'm horrible at keeping secrets!).

Good luck everyone and congratulations to all!

    Cool

I have my first doctor's appointment this Thursday. I'm a bit nervous about it. I've been having heartburn every day from last week and I hate it. Being feeling nauseous more and more since last week, but no puking yet. My boobs are really heavy and sore and right now i sooooo wish they were detachable! (lol) I just want to know that everything is going well so far with baby and to start taking prenatal vitamins. Been having some cramps too, but I just try to breathe calmly through them. I plan to tell my parents about my pregnancy after the appointment, and then let the excitement begin! (lol)

Today,I am 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I went to the doctor last week and they did an ultrasound because I had some spotting. They said it didn't look like I should worry about it. They ordered a blood test and everything came back normal. My HCG is over 6000++ so that is a good indication but my progesterone was on the border of good and bad so she prescribed me with Prometrium. I will be taking it for as long as my doctor tells me to stop. I have my first prenatal visit and u/s on the 3rd. I am really excited. I have no morning sickness at all and all I feel are sore boobs and frequent urination.. That's basically it. I still cant believe Im pregnant. My husband and I tried for almost 2 years with 2 failed IUI's. Baby is conceived naturally that's why it was a total shocker! :) Please pray for me.. :)

    Good luck!

ME TOO! I'm 6weeks today.  2nd child but new experience...nauseated (what) it really feels like I can pass out if I don't eat. SO funny, just looked at my calendar...my 2nd Dr. appt. is Sept. 21st aswell...weird, but cool. Extremely tired and keeping up with a 4 yr old isn't easy.  Coping with mood swings by reading others post. Makes me feel normal and reminds me to enjoy the moment.

Well, I went for my 8 week US yesterday, only go get pushed back to week 6! We got to see the heartbeat though, which is very settling, but now I am nervous that it isn't growing the way it should be. I know we conceived late (day 21), but it still makes me nervous! I thought I had a rasberry, and I am back at a pea! I am thankfully for a healthy baby thus far though!

This is my first pregnancy, just found out a little over a week ago and I'm about 6 weeks now!  No nausea but I have had cramping, which freaks me out, not knowing if that's normal, (sounds like it is from the MB), my boobs hurt, back hurts, and i'm peeing all the time.

First appointment scheduled for 10/18... can't come soon enough!  Very excited!  Not sure though if my husband should come or not.  When should he come?
