I ordered a totally overpriced (but super cute) print for the baby's room and told DH it cost less than it actually was Now I just have to intercept the package before he gets to it first and destroy the receipt hahaha.

I started painting our nursery last night and forgot to open the windows.  No, I wasn't trying to get high, I just forgot.  But I didn't freak out about it either.

Oh, and I'm painting the entire thing myself.  DH isn't helping- he's working instead.

I have had fast food no fewer than 5 times this week (if you count last Saturday). AND my family took me out to breakfast and dinner yesterday for my birthday to non-fast food places. This has to stop.

WOW this board is slow this morning!

Here is one of my FFFC's: I want to throat punch some of my family members.  Many women on my mother's side (aunts and cousins) are heavy smokers.  I was a "light" smoker til I got the BFP and quit IMMEDIATELY.  They have all tried to justify that smoking is ok during PG because "all their kids turned out fine".  One cousin even told me that her doctor said it would do more harm to quit because it would be too stressful (yeah f'ing right). 

Anyway, my cousin's gf (a smoker) had her baby early.  Everything is fine (thank god), but everyone is like, "oh i wonder what happened?"  Uh - maybe it was because she was smoking?  Premature birth and low birth rate?  It says the s/e right on the box!  You people are idiots!!!

So I guess that was more of a rant than a confession.  I suppose my confession is that, yes, I do feel like "I'm better than you" because I quit smoking for my baby and you couldn't even bother to try.

DH has been whining about missing the freedom we had before kids. We were married for seven years before we had DS. We haven't been getting along too great lately either. I'm blaming hormones, but he doesn't have an excuse. I'm tempted to tell him to just jump on his bike and go. I'm changing my mind about being a sahm because I don't want to be dependant on him.

I agree. The a*s-kissing gets to be a bit much.

My FFFC is I'm pretty sure I'm going to name this baby while my husband's in the bathroom. I do not like 1 name he's thrown at me.

YES!!!!! ITA. There are 153 replies, but only like 20 of those are actual bump pictures. Let's make a separate "you are so cute, I love your shirt" thread.

On the same note, don't reply as the second or third reply without a picture and say "I'm going to add a picture later" just because you want your picture to be on the first page. Whoa that was pretty b!tchy of me.

love this!!!  I would do the same if we ever sell.  i was SO critical of other people's houses when we were looking - hopefully nobody had me on candid camera!

If I read one more article or editorial about "most people" thinking that women who breastfeed are stupid, I will scream. You know who's stupid? People who think the whole world looks down breastfeeders because of a poorly conducted survey of 30 college students in Montana. Look at the actual study you're trying to quote. It's complete crap that should have never been published!

Definitely agree with you here.  I got sick of sifting through the pages to see if there were actually pictures instead of just comments.

yup, i quit HDBD!  they all look the same anyway!  usually i hit the gym wednesday morning - if i took time to get gussied up and look cute after that, i would be on page 6, after like 150 comments about how nice somebody's tile work in their bathroom is or how cute their shirt is.   aye aye aye!

My Dr told me this as well, and I have heard it from other sources as well...MOSTLY its for women who smoke 3 packs a day easy...it is too stressful to quit cold turkey
