Can I AW? Aiden rolled over twice today for the first time! They grow up so fast
Wow that is great!! I don't think Jack showed any interest in rolling at all until past the 4 month mark. But now he does it like a champ. I am not ready for crawling at all.
Connor has rolled belly to back a few times, but today he just didn't feel like it, lol.

I'm SICK of food. I wish I didn't have to eat. I'm always hungry with nothing to eat. I have to cook EVERYTHING; there's nothing I can grab to eat really quick. Idk if I'm about to start my period or what, but I need chocolate like nobody's business and I can't have any
So anyway, I've been feeling really sorry for myself when it comes to food, and I wish we were rich so I could hire a cook. And a maid.
Happy half-birthday Jack!
Just eat some chocolate already!! You'll feel so much better once you do it!
thank you nasty for starting a TTM thread! i am home alllll alone with LO tonight while DH works. i am FREAKING out and feel extremely stupid about it. there isnt a damn thing on tv either. oh and my stupid arsss watched americas most wanted so that made me even more scurrrred.
Ahhh! I felt like this last night. It was like, 3 am, I couldn't sleep, and I kept looking out of our bathroom window (we have no blinds in there yet into the darkness expecting something out of a horror movie to happen. It was terrible. I have a ridiculous imagination.
Also, I see you're rocking the student mommy badge. Refresh my memory: what are you in for again?
haha, yea its ridiculous because even if someone else was here with me, they would be in bed so i dont even know what the difference is! i really do not think someone would break in but i have watched wayyy too many lifetime movies and horror films! lol. i wanna go to bed SO badly but im afraid.
and yes, STILLLLL in school i have changed my major about 10 times, been in for 6 years - pathetic i know. but i will hopefully graduate in the spring with a degree in Information Technology. I have been feeling really down about it though. i dont feel comfortable in the field anymore, i do not wanna leave LO and go back to work. and once I am done i have to start paying 800 DOLLARS a month in student loans probably til the day I die! i dream big of winning the lottery hahaha.

I totally wanted to be a Library Sciences major. That's similar to IT in a lot of ways, I think. GL with graduating. I feel you on student loans. That's part of the reason I'm still in school. I'm working on my MA in English right now, and before I'm through I'll have my PhD. It's a long way off still, but I'm looking forward to being Dr. Nasty.
hahaha dr nasty - that has a nice ring to it! that is awesome though that you have something like that to look forward too! once youre done you shouldnt have a problem making that money to pay student loans!!!
I really hope not. LOL. I keep rackin' 'em up though. Blergh. I'm going to owe my soul to the general store before we're all said and done.

I've been waiting for your post and even put DS in the bassinet so I could bump in bed without disturbing him.
We went to my cousin's today and just hung out and watched the Brown's. I had to re-do my entire honeymoon album cause the bigger size was expensive, but I like the new one much better!
Other than that I'm doing nothing. I wanted to start watching The Pillars of the Earth mini-series, but DH fell asleep.
Lol @ putting DS to bed so you wouldn't disturb him. Too good.
What's The Pillars of the Earth?
WHAT!!! You haven't heard of this?? It was even an Oprah pick (not why I read it) and everything!! It's amazing...I know that if I describe it to you though it will sound terrible and off-putting, so look it up on barnes and nobles when you have time and read the blurb. It's looooooong though, not something you can tackle over the weekend (unless you are a speed reader savant).
Anyway, the writer wrote the mini-series script, so everyone says it's really good and stays true to the storyline.
We did something really fun and exciting for Jack's 6 month birthday!
We went to BRU! I know, I know...it's not that big a deal to people who have one handy, but we had to drive 2 hours to get to one, so we made a day of it.
My SM and I pooled our money and got Jack a Britax Boulevard convertible seat in Castlerock.
Then, my fantastic Meep got us a Crib and Changer combo that's gorgeous. I will try to find a link for it. I was so excited to go baby shopping! I feel like I missed it all while I was pregnant because I was so far away, and broke. It was a lot of fun!
Ohhhhh, nice pick on the Britax!!

Hey have you looked at www.blurb.com That site is awesome for designing photo books. You have to download the program (its free).
Thanks, I just checked them out, and they look pretty awesome!! Their prices are pretty comparable too! I'll have to keep looking into it!

That's totally not terrible. Especially if she's really sanctimonious.
Speaking of this, I found out today that my stepsister, who miscarried last year, is pregnant again. She is not married, but is apparently planning to marry the father of this baby. I'm not sure how long they've been together, but I'd guess less than 4 months.
After all the judgment we got for being unmarried, it's hard for me not to give the side-eye to all of our family who thinks this is okay. :

Well for a while I managed our quoting application - which I loved! It's kinda getting phased out b/c its not online so I have started doing more typical BA work. I work with the business on projects they want IT to implement and I document their requirements. I then give them to the development team for them to actually code the requirements and then I help implement it. I have also started managing some projects.
I like it ok. It can be very stressful since the deadlines at my company are pretty intense. I like the people I work with for the most part and the money is decent - allows my DH to be a SAHD.

I love historical fiction, that looks good! I am a bit of a speed reader, I'll have to see if I can find it at the library. Is the miniseries on tv or dvd? What channel?
I wanna say Starz??? I actually don't know, because we don't get whatever channel it's on, BUT you can instant-stream it from Netflix if you have that!
And I would definitely recommend the book, it's pretty much awesome!
Sweet! I have netflix

Re: Talk to Me 3-6
Connor has rolled belly to back a few times, but today he just didn't feel like it, lol.
Just eat some chocolate already!! You'll feel so much better once you do it!
What sort of IT degree? I have my degree in Information and Operations Management. I work for an Insurance company as a Business Analyst/Project Manager.
Lol, c'mon guys, I figured you'd be ready to be rid of me by now! I never stay on a board for the whole 3 months! :P
I'd love to stick around here, and I'll probably come visit you often, and you guys come visit me. I just don't feel like I have a lot to talk about on this board now. Not baby related anyway. :P Although, we are going to be starting solids soon. Hmmm...
since I still lurk over here I want to play.
Sometimes people rub me the wrong way and it is really hard for me not to go off on them.
How come it is ok for THEM to be judgmental about their things and no one says a word but other people get jumped all over for something that is just the opposite of what they think.
...I shall say no more. (on this)
OMG i binge eat too! except its like every BAD thing in sight! i have had like 10 tootsie pops, 3 snack size bags of cheeze its, potato chips, cookies, and about 10 cups of coffee! thats really pathetic but DD has been sick all day and since im here alone i have had to tend to her all day. i havent even had 5 minutes to make a meal
she would not nap to save my soul unless i held her.
I really hope not. LOL. I keep rackin' 'em up though. Blergh. I'm going to owe my soul to the general store before we're all said and done.
I will (hopefully) be a network admin when im done. thats what i have been focusing on at least. my dad wants me to come work for him and handle all of the networking issues at the ambulance company. which would be great and it will pay great but i honestly get so nervous thinking about working on such a big network. if i screw up im f**ked!
Also, DH is out of town today and tomorrow.
All I want to do tonight is drink a beer and eat junk food. Alas, there is no beer in the house but you can bet I'll be getting into that ice cream in the freezer after I pump!
I also have not done the dishes, that will be for tomorrow...
That's totally normal to feel. I probably get by with a lot (both here and in real life) but it's because I generally judge silently. So, since people don't know I am judging them, they tend not to judge me as harshly.
Oh, and I'm perfect.
Did you get to go to the AZ GTG?
what exactly do you do? do you enjoy it? (if you dont mind me asking)
WHAT!!! You haven't heard of this?? It was even an Oprah pick (not why I read it) and everything!! Thanks, I just checked them out, and they look pretty awesome!! Their prices are pretty comparable too! I'll have to keep looking into it!
It isn't ok for people to be like that. My rule of thumb is "never dish more than you can take."
I can't, I've had to restrict my diet because Connor has allergies (see siggy). I just had some raspberry sorbet and it took the edge off
Babies? Why do we have to talk about babies?
Hmmmm... I may have to look into this. Not now though.
School starts Monday (MONDAY! AHHH!) and I'll be knee-deep in Steinbeck and Faulkner. Bleh.
Nope not today but I think Annice and I might GTG for coffee on Tuesday
Don't you know that the Bump is here for babies and support guys?!?!?
BABIES and SUPPORT! THAT IS IT!
Haha, that sounds about what I would eat too, minus the coffee because then I'd be running to the bathroom every 5 minutes!
I hope DD sleeps like a champ for you tonight! Poor momma, get some rest!
I try to NOT do that but I do it every single time. I can't help it.
Um, I am totally jealous! I want to GTG with you guys!
Why can't AZ and Tx be closer? Who needs New Mexico anyway?!
seriously! it'd be cool if you could! though I do like NM (good hiking) but TX is a big ole state!
You would all feel very good around Jack. He's not slow; he's just lazy. Like, really lazy. He hasn't even started attempting to sit on his own yet. Like, in a cart, or my lap, or anything. He just falls right over. Lol. I don't know what we're going to do after we install the convertible seat. I guess keep the infant carrier in the back so we can go shopping or out to eat. :P
I love historical fiction, that looks good! I am a bit of a speed reader, I'll have to see if I can find it at the library. Is the miniseries on tv or dvd? What channel?
Aww...I'm sorry B!! Hopefully he will outgrow that!! Speaking of raspberry sorbet....I'm off to try my new raspberry/chocolate pudding!
Oh man. How disgusting! Nothing p!sses me off more than wealthy elitists. It's like, what, because you have a little money, you're really that much better than the rest of the world? Money cannot make you smart, or kind, or good. Mostly it just makes you miserable. So stfu, rich people.
At least I'm elitist 'cause of my brain. :P
This made me giggle
Mmm, sorbet and pudding both sound delicious. All I have is yogurt, and I don't want yogurt.
I wanna say Starz??? I actually don't know, because we don't get whatever channel it's on, BUT you can instant-stream it from Netflix if you have that!
And I would definitely recommend the book, it's pretty much awesome!
UGH....tomorrow is our MIL day too...she's not terrible, just annoying. My husband won't even stay in the room for very long cause she annoys the piss out of him. I guess I have to put up with her cause she's DS only grandmother, so she should be in his life.
Of course it did. And that is because you rock.
BTW, how come every time you actually belong on my board, I no longer belong on it? Can't you tell C to hurry it up with that growing?!
Well that is beyond rude!! Did you slap them?
Oooh! I was just thinking about how I should read Faulkner. I'll book club it with you, if you want!
Sweet! I have netflix
