Trying to Get Pregnant

Pregnancy test - a question

Dear all,

I have a question.

Yesterday, I tested with ClearBlue. It showed a faint line. It showed a faint line after 1 minute already. I made a picture after 3 minutes, as instructions was saying.

And here is the question (as I am testing first time): after required time to read a pregnancy test, you always throw it away? I already know, that some of women's are keeping them as a souvenir. For a ClearBlue; if your test is positive, is line changed after some hours/days/weeks?

Always thank you in advance.

  • PG tests are only to be read within the window provided in the instructions.  After that window of time has passed, it does not matter what the test looks like or what lines do/do not appear, it is not considered valid at that point.  Some women do keep their tests to take pictures of for their announcements or whatever.

  • Thank you for your reply. This is very helpful answer. Do you know, how to attach a picture to a post?
  • You can’t post pregnancy tests to this board. In the first tri board there is a “what does a positive test look like”
and on the top right there is a little mountain and sun in a box. Drop down that menu and select “choose files.”

  • I am sorry, I can't find it. May I have more explanation?
  • This is the ONLY place on the TB you are allowed to post a pic of PG test:  What does a positive pregnancy test really look like?? - Page 31 — The Bump
