  • I posted in the symptoms thread but moving it over here:

I woke up this morning with instantly zero nausea- yesterday I was horribly nauseated and vomited. Tried not to stress over the lack of nausea. Came into work and noticed light pink streaking on the toilet paper when I wiped. Asked one of the PAs to order a hcg for me and it was 18,650 which sounds great but it’s not really helpful unless I get another one drawn in a couple days. Was able to move my first appt up to the 19th but now just waiting until then. Have continued with the pink streaks all day so far.

  • @night_nurse 🤞🤞🤞 it's just some spotting! Fwiw, I had my worst day for nausea yesterday morning and then today have had nothing also, and have even been able to eat meals without feeling sick. I am trying to remember that symptoms that come and go are normal. Keep us posted 🙏

@night_nurse hoping it’s just spotting❤️ I’m glad they were able to get your appointment moved up and your numbers sound great! Will they redraw for you Monday?
  • Praying for you now! That’s kind of good that it’s light pink and not super bright or heavy!
I have heard that bleeding can be normal in the beginning and mean nothing, however, I love that they’re going to see you this week and have moved you up, even if just for peace of mind. Hopefully you are able to have some peace as you wait!!
I’ll be thinking of you and praying for that sticky babe!!! 💓
  • @night_nurse Woohoo! I've never been so happy to hear someone was nauseous 😆

  • @night_nurse so glad the spotting has stopped, and ?the nausea is back, like Hedgepig said, weird thing to be happy for, but symptoms are good right?

I also had some streaky swiping last week, and yesterday, and it's amazing how much it messes with your head. And I don't have a history of loss, so it must be much worse for you. Thinking of you, and hoping the streak-less streak, and symptoms continue.

@night_nurse I’m so glad to hear the streaks stopped and your symptoms picked back up. Hopefully you’ll feel a little less nauseous so you can eat though.
  • YAY!!!! Thank God!!! 🥹🥹
  • I’ve had some spotting today—light brown, though not enough to stain a pad. A little cramping, too, though I can’t quite figure out if it’s gas or something else. Am at 5W3D, so still really early, and I am trying not to panicked but… it’s hard. Am going to call the doctor tomorrow to see if they have any advice besides just sitting and waiting. 😩
  • I also started spotting pink this evening. I’m also only 5w3d and I’m so nervous :(
  • I just left the ER. I have the same symptoms light bleeding now for 3 days. I gave them my last period and they said that Instead of 7 weeks the ultrasound is showing 5 weeks. I am extremely nervous. I never had bleeding with my first child.
  • @knottiecc762430adb19c4a and @tangiblycool, fingers crossed for both of you!!

Ended up going to ER yesterday as well. They were able to rule out UTIs or BV, and the ultrasound did show a teeny gestational sac, but not much else bc I’m so early. Also my cervix is closed, which is good. I do have a fibroid (outside my uterus, so shouldn’t impact baby) which has gotten bigger since I was diagnosed last year and could possibly be causing the issue, but that’s uncertain. They told me all I can do at this point is monitor, and see if my doctor will want to check on my hcg levels over the next few days.
  • @jamzsquared @tangiblycool @knottie So sorry to hear this - I know how scary it is! I know it doesn't help much, but I will say I had some spotting during week 5 as well, so 🤞🤞🤞 it's nothing!

  • Okay, saw my ob-gym today and she did another ultrasound. Baby is definitely still in there and things seem intact, though my fibroid is ridiculously large and in retrospect I probably should’ve had it removed when I had the chance. Spotting has tapered off, so I am going to sit tight and try not to do too much over the next week or so.
  • Praying for you both.
  • I’m 5w1d and had same dark brown spotting only when wiping for the first time tonight. I’m so nervous about the next few days especially since I’m out of state so can’t get to my doctor anytime soon
  • Sending all the positive vibes to everyone in this thread.

I just got back from my first appointment and measuring a week behind…my doctor is cautiously optimistic that because of my longer cycles, I just became pregnant a week later than what would be expected in a 28-day cycle. Trying to remain optimistic and hopefully my crying is just those hormones raging.

So much love to all of you and already grateful to have a community to come to.
  • @lilizzie31 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 keeping my fingers crossed for you
  • @lilizzie31 that happened to me with my 2nd, I had just come off of BC, and my cycles were all over the place anywhere from 21-36 days. I measured a week behind at the first ultrasound, took another a few weeks later and they adjusted my due date to the baby's measurements, and then I had a beautiful baby boy on the adjusted due date. Fingers crossed for you.
  • @mrosek91 Thank you so so much for sharing that  that's really the kind of story I needed to hear this morning. I'm going back a week from today for another ultrasound so trying to remain positive!
  • Keeping you all in my thoughts. I woke up to wiping blood after peeing this morning. Last time this happened it ended in a miscarriage, but I’m determined not to freak out, take it super easy and if it’s still there Monday, to make an appointment. I don’t want to spend all night in the ER again.
  • @fininevermore fx crossed for a sticky baby ❤️ i have had blood with wiping, ranging from brown to pink to dark red, since 6 weeks. I also have a history of loss and was sure that’s what was happening, but everything on US has looked good so far. 9 weeks today and still having the smears. Midwife is thinking it’s cervical since there was no other reason for it in US. Hoping for good endings for all of us!
  • @night_nurse 🤞 Mine are crossed too. So far none today, and I still have my symptoms, so trying to stay positive for DH’s sake because on the inside I’m terrified but I know that’s not helpful. And I’ve still got DS to think about, who’s still happily oblivious.
  • Hi everyone! I’m asking for prayers. This is my first baby. It took us about a year to get pregnant and after getting negative tests month after month we’re over the moon about our little one. I’m approaching 9 weeks pregnant and just had my first spotting scare today. I pretty much fell apart. I have PCOS so I’m terrified of miscarrying. I’ve been taking progesterone which hopefully helps my hormone imbalance. Fortunately, everything appeared to be okay on the ultrasound today 🤍 baby’s heartbeat is 160 BPM. They did find a small hemorrhage that could be causing the bleeding. Has anyone else gone through anything like this? I’ve just been told to keep an eye on it and if the bleeding gets heavier to go to the ER. Again would really appreciate prayers for baby 🤍
  • Praying for you and Baby! ❤️
  • Thank you so much 🤍
  • I’m measuring a week early (supposed to be 7 weeks and 1 day) and couldn’t find a heartbeat at first appointment. Is it possibly that we were just too early at 6 weeks and 1 day? Or should I be preparing for the worst at my next US appointment? No cramping or bleeding.
  • If you’re measuring 6+1, could def be too early for a heartbeat. But did you see a yolk sac? If so, don’t give up hope! Could be you had a late implantation.
  • Yes, there was a yolk sac! Keeping my fingers crossed for a heartbeat at next US!
  • @knottiec560c7a56c4c6a7d how are you? Any updates?

@knottiec560c7a56c4c6a7d I actually have a hemorrhage myself. Started on August 3rd, was bloody but not crazy worrisome to my nurse I was communicating with, and then on the 5th it was gushing and clotty. Very very scary. I went to the ER and had blood work and eventually got an ultrasound and they found the hemorrhage. My bleeding was pretty non existent for 7-8 days after and then I started bleeding a LOT again on the 14th. Fortunately was able to get an ultrasound and they told me that the bleed is actually right at my cervix, which I don't think is very normal. So hoping it is an explanation for more bleeding than the average Hemorrhage. They honestly didn't really say that but said possibly. But baby is good, HR was 200 which is high but they also weren't worried about it. . but man at only 9 weeks pregnant this has been a lot!
  • We were getting excited for our first appt and scan this week then yesterday started light bleeding everytime I went to the bathroom, light period bleeding but no clots/tissue and no strong aching/cramping. This went on for most of the day. Almost no bleeding the next day and hoping for the best. Ultrasound is tomorrow to check for a heartbeat and see what’s going on. Has this happened to anyone? I feel fine today, seemingly normal pregnancy symptoms again. Anxiously waiting for the ultrasound now…

It’s normal to have spotting and can range fro brown to light pink. I wouldn’t worry too much but since you have your appt tomorrow you’ll have some peace of mind. I hope it all goes well 💕
  • @ghanihk how scary! I’m glad things with baby look good. Hoping your SCH heals quickly and baby remains healthy❤️
  • I’m having a scare right now. Went for an ultrasound yesterday; the tech found a sac but can’t see anything inside. So now I’m going for HCG tests, one this morning and one Friday. And I looked up Dr. Google’s advice on today’s level. Looks like it’s too low for where I am supposed to be now, but within normal range for 7 weeks. So I’m not sure if I’m grasping at straws or can cross my fingers that I’m earlier along than I thought.
