Re: Introductions
Due date: Feb 1
How you found out: Have been tracking, so took a test. Got a faint positive, so I took a CBAD and got a BFP. Followed up with my dr and betas are rising appropriately.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I are high school sweethearts who will be married 5 years this October. We have a son who is 3.5 and a black lab named Tessie.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Doing okay.. I have had two MMC this past year, so eagerly awaiting the viability scan which should be soon. I had betas ran three time last week which were: 67, 178, 521 all 48 hours apart. I am going in today for a "location" scan. Basically my OB wants to make sure I implanted inter-uterine and he will do the viability scan in 7-10 days after today's scan. I was in the Feb '22 board and October '22 board, so I am really hoping that I can stick with this board!

A little nervous because I accepted my dream job with a huge pay raise a day before I found out I was pregnant. I think my new workplace will be supportive but I feel some guilt. I am not sure how much time I will have off PP either which is stressful. Also wondering when I should tell my new supervisor.
I'm 3w3d, found out super early (3 weeks) because we've been actively TTC. I've felt super tired, nauseated, and super tender breasts. Feeling nervous, as I did with our son, because it's just so early. I'm a worrier anyways, so time will ease this feeling. We are super excited and cannot wait to share with our family. Our first appt is at the 7 week mark.

Mostly feeling completely shocked and like it hasn't sunk in yet - while we always thought we'd go for 3 I did not want it to be this soon. We had to actively try for our first 2 and I thought I had my cycle down pat. I had some very light brown spotting indicative of my period coming but it was a full week before it was due, which was odd. It only lasted one day. In hindsight it was implantation bleeding, which I did not have with my first 2. Took a cheapie test this AM after I was a day late, and it turned positive immediately.
Physically, I started to feel that first-tri exhaustion a couple days ago and swear last night I already felt some RLP or uterine expanding twinges (not possible yet, I know, but I swear...)
While still in shock, I am looking forward to hopefully being able to stick around on this board. For the FTM's, it really is nice to check in with one another over the next 9 (8?!) months!
I'm 36 and a first time mama. I've always known I wanted to be a mom but circumstances didn't really allow it until this past year. My husband and I have been married 3 years and have been trying for about 6 months. I used a digital ovulation reader last month (instead of the basic strips) and it worked!
Due date: Feb 1st but some calculators say later...sometime during first week of Feb!
How you found out: I had been very closely monitoring my symptoms this month and felt exited when all my usual PMS symptoms were not here. Tested a day before my period was due and got a verrrrrry faint line. Thought I was imagining it. Next day tested again...slightly darker line. Day after tested with a digital and it said YES!
Tell us about yourself: I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist and also teach a graduate course. I love spending time with my family and friends and exploring the city with my husband.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): Tired! Midday and end of day I am beat! Also very thirsty and craving lots of salty snacks, which is unusual since I have a sweet tooth. Also peeing a lot more than usual. Sore boobs. Mild cramping.
@tessiesmom26 very happy to see you here, friend! congratulations!
I found out but taking a couple of pregnancy tests. I had a suspicion I was pregnant because my semi-regular period didn’t make an appearance and I was experiencing tender breasts. I also felt more tired that normal and actually had to take naps to make it through the work day!
I’m a dog mom to two senior dogs, Harlem who’s a toy poodle and Sydney who is a morkie.
I feel pretty good and I’m excited! This pregnancy is a blessing.
My name is Emily, first time mom, due Feb 13. I'm 35, I have 2 cats and a husband - we've been married 1.5 years. We live in Colorado and like camping, hiking, and paddleboarding!!
We had a miscarriage in February at 9 weeks, which was closely followed by the loss of my cat who was truly my best friend. While I'm so so so excited to have had 2 positive pregnancy tests, I'm also feeling so anxious and terrified that this will be a miscarriage as well, but I'm trying my best to be positive. I bought a journal so I'm going to attempt to journal my thoughts today :) hopefully that helps get feelings down on paper and ground me.
I’m about 5 weeks along and this is my first pregnancy😊
I’m due February 2nd. I found out on a “whim” lol. I was curious a day before my period and tested positive — so found out super early. It was a bit of a surprise for my husband and I since we were waiting until June to ttc.
Only symptoms I’ve been experiencing is mild cramping and tiredness😴 I’ve been taking prenatal supplements since January so I’m wondering if that’s why I’m not experiencing morning sickness 🧐 Has anyone experienced the same?
I like art! I love to draw and very much a foodie. No pets but I love dogs. At the moment I feel excited but also feel a little in the nebulous of not knowing what to expect.
This is my 2nd. My first (boy) is 8 from a previous marriage. I've been with my boyfriend now for 6 years and we just started trying in April. I'm excited and nervous and shocked!
We live in MN and I enjoy watching my son play all the sports, being outside, and never ending house projects. We have 2 dogs so I'm all about embracing the chaos.
My name is a Kendra. I have 2 kiddos from a previous marriage, a boy and a girl, and a stepson. We have 2 doggies. My husband and I are both RNs. We found out I was pregnant the day after we came back from a weekend getaway celebrating my birthday. My EDD is February 10th. Only symptoms so far are sore breasts and BLOATING 😳
Hoping we all have happy and healthy pregnancies ❤
We found out very early at 3w3d with a very faint line! We had an event to go to that evening so I wanted to check before I went and enjoyed a glass of wine. I just had a feeling! Low and behold my little strip test popped a faint line so I quickly grabbed a onsie I bought 2 years ago when we started trying and handed it to my husband and said we need to get a real test 😂.
We started trying in 2020 and experienced a chemical pregnancy at 4w3d our first month of trying (so I've been a bit on edge this week). After that we continued to try for a year with no luck. We started some infertility testing but then had to take a 9 month break while my husband was out of the country. We started back February 2022. Still no luck, so after a few months I scheduled an HSG. There was a small blockage on my right tube that cleared with the contrast and just a few weeks later here we are preggers! Worked like a charm.
Im 32, my husband is 37 and we have 2 doggos. Married for 5 years and together for 11. And we are praying like crazy for a sticky bean!
I’m a first time mom expecting my baby Feb 2!
I’m 29 years old and my boyfriend is 33. We have 2 adorable Mutts. I work in brain injury rehab and my boyfriend is an elevator mechanic.
I found out a few years back that I had PCOS and just assumed that having a baby would be difficult for me or that I would need medical assistance. To my surprise it happened naturally! I’m still in complete disbelief but am so extremely excited.
My period was late 4 days and I had absolutely no spotting which I always have with my period! I decided I needed to rule pregnancy out so I bought a test. I remember setting it aside after I completed the test and I peaked over and saw a very dark blue line in the result centre. I could not believe it. I went and bought two more tests to confirm!
I have been on google since I found out I was pregnant because I am a total over thinker. For the most part my major symptom has been light cramping which had me worried for the first little bit till I spoke with a doula that explained to be it was normal. I’ve calmed a lot since haha.
Super happy I can share my experience and learn from you all. Congratulations everyone!
Well I’m here for now.
Had a miscarriage in March (just a chemical pregnancy, didn’t get very far).
Had my first “normal period” and then tested positive for ovulation on day 14 (which is earlier than I usually ovulate), but then had another week of bleeding starting the next day so I figured things were still wonky.
But then I tested positive the next week (a few days ago). 🙃
How did anything stick in there mid bleeding, or remain stuck in there…???? But my lines are darker than they were for the chemical pregnancy. Having blood work done today.
I feel like the embodiment of that “Am I Pregrant?” song. (I mean I know I’m pregnant but like going well pregnant or going wonky pregnant? 😂)
Oh I have a three year old, a husband, and a couple plants. I have an unkillable (I think) asparagus fern, a peace lily, some succulents, and I’m trying to grow some mint. For some reason I have bad luck with mint despite the fact that it likes to overgrow and become a weed for some people. 😅
Due date: Feb 5, 2023
How you found out: We’ve been trying for 7 months, and I was tracking my ovulation and BBT. I was kind of tired of tracking everything as it felt like a chore, and I was thinking it wouldn’t happen. So, I basically stopped tracking everything last month. After my period was 4 days late, I decided to take a pregnancy test and the line was super dark! The reality hasn’t quite set in yet.
Tell us about yourself: I’ve been with my husband for 11 years (married 3 years). We have a cat named Luci.
How are you feeling: Incredibly tired! I’m used to getting very little sleep, so this is new to me. I’m also having some aches on my right side. I don’t know if it’s pregnancy or dance related to be honest.
My husband and I have been trying for 4 years and had our first FET on May 19 and it was a success. Still very nervous but excited at the same time.
Been married for 4 years and it’s my first, but have 3 beautiful stepchildren.
I’ve been feeling extremely tired and slightly nauseous.
This is my first pregnancy and I am due on February 12th. We went through FET IVF and are feeling extremely grateful and blessed; I cried through the entire call with the nurse a couple days ago!
Currently experiencing just tiredness so far, but expecting more [but then again, this is all new to me ❤️].
I look forward to participating in this group and supporting everyone!
I’m due 2/6/23
My period never came and though I was convinced I was going to start my period (just late maybe), I took a test and it was positive right away!
I’m a first time mom, working part time for a home health company providing companionship to older adults.
My husband and I love to travel and soak up the sun during the gorgeous PNW summers.
My symptoms are mild, I feel the breast tenderness and uterus stretching the most. A little queasy but not nauseous yet. I get tired really quickly and have had some pretty severe bloating at different times throughout the pregnancy so far
