@Aclemmer91 yes, I had a terrible one all day yesterday. I had attributed it partially to lingering dehydration from my stomach bug last week as well as particularly heavy workout on Saturday, but I imagine pregnancy is a big part of the culprit, too.
@aclemmer91 I've been getting headaches too, I think probably a mix of needing so much hydration and sciatica/RLP. I've been trying to stretch and drink excessively. It might also be some allergies too
@Aclemmer91 Yep, definitely getting headaches unlike ones I got before pregnancy. These seem to be concentrated behind/around one eye, usually the right, and linger no matter what I do, even after taking Tylenol. Mine also seem to get worse with light, so maybe it’s a migraine? I’ve never had one, so I don’t know for sure.
@holly0810 wow, I am so sorry you had to go through that! I hope it never happens again and they gave you something to prevent it. Hopefully they'll never ask you to do another urine hold.
@Aclemmer91 I've been having some bad headaches. I have a mild one right now. That was something new with the second trimester
Thanks ladies they have given me meds for the constipation and they believe by using the balloon cathater that helps to push the uterus out from the pelvis. It wasn’t nice and not something I would want to experience again. It’s left me completely paranoid of how much urine I am passing but up to now I seem to be doing ok so 🙏
Is it normal for bloating to fluctuate throughout the day? When I wake up I feel almost normal but by the end of the day I feel so blahhhh. It’s worse after I eat so maybe it’s just gas buildup?
@robbinsegg317 yep. Totally normal. Bloating is so much worse during pregnancy. I usually take pills to combat bloat but can't anymore and you can tell. Lol
13w4d and im still getting nausea/vomiting. It's like I have good days and bad days, so at least it's not every day anymore. Headaches, vivid dreams, bloating.
One weird symptom is I've become very antisocial. Like this is my first post this month I think. I leave my best friends on read for days, I just.... want to be a hermit. It's getting better, but it's weird
@reirei09 same here with the hermit life and the persistent tummy troubles. I throw up about twice a week still, and the nausea is very much persistent so I can't eat much.
How is morning sickness going for everyone- i am 13 weeks 2 days and have stopped vomiting- this happened in my last pregnancy but i also loss my son at this time so i am freaking out
@relizabethp no more morning sickness here! I’m 13 weeks 3 days. It was oddly more comforting to feel crappy but I think/hope we are just over the hump
@relizabethp My morning sickness stopped around 13 weeks too. I am anxiously awaiting my 16 week scan. Hopefully all is well and things are just getting better symptom wise.
@silverholly8 Hopefully we’ll be over the nausea soon! With my first I couldn’t eat much either, but this time around, even when I’m nauseous, I find myself eating SOOOOO much, like my body is trying to fight nausea with a full stomach. 🤷♀️
I've started getting occasional tingling in my feet. Just read that this is common but I didn't have it with DS so it surprised me. Anyone have or have had this?
@krthouse I’ve been getting tingling and numbness for weeks now. All my doctors said it’s sciatica (I have had bad sciatica for decades and they said pregnancy is making worse). With some PT and yoga and stretching and magnesium it’s gotten a lot better!
@Aclemmer91Second trimester and getting DAILY headaches. Pretty much from week 13 onward (it’s not blood pressure related, already checked). Doctor “prescribed” Tylenol and caffeine but if anyone has experienced this before and has other suggestions I am ALL EARS. suggestions I am ALL EARS.
@mcclanna oof I've been getting them occasionally. My doctor said Tylonol and caffeine, too. Other things I've found that help: cold compress on my head, massaging my forehead/brow/scalp, and taking a nap.
15w5d, and I feel like a switch has flipped on my appetite. I have been pretty much over the all-day queasiness for a few weeks, but my appetite was still not great. And Monday, I was RAVENOUS. I ate all of my snacks that I brought to work by 11:30am and had to go get early lunch and more snacks for the rest of the day. Appetite is still up, which is great. It really was such a sudden switch though that it kind of took me off guard lol.
@mcclanna my headaches often stem from tension in my neck. I often get a bit of relief by trying active release on those knots, either using my roller that has nubs on it I can target them with or just my hands. I find the knot, press into it while trying to relax my neck as much as possible and breath deeply until it sort of twitches and releases. A physio or RMT can help with this too. Also keeping super hydrated helps prevent them. I guzzle water and coconut water.
I've also found headache relief from acupuncture & chiropractor. If you have coverage for either service, I highly recommend giving it a shot! The acupuncture has also been able to target some of my other symptoms.
15w1d and really been feeling the RLP the last 1-2 days. What do you guys suggest for relief? I’ve been doing a lot of stretches and carefully moving positions. Maybe a heating pad? 😩
@pangolindrome SAME. I was hoping for the usual energy spurt I get but I've got nothing. I'm so exhausted. I read five books this week and I just started number six. My kids are running around the house absolutely wild and I'm just like 🤷♀️. @sandy5693 I don't know about heating pads during pregnancy. I usually just massage it. I really need to clean out our bathtub so I can soak to relax everything.
I’m 16 weeks and have developed some noticeable pregnancy brain. I’m forgetting very obvious things around the house and am having trouble finding the right words in conversation. Luckily, I haven’t screwed up anything major at work but feel like it’s only a matter of time! I’ve forgotten like four daycare-related things in a row though. Oops.
I also feel like I’ve popped this week. Finally looking pregnant. And my boobs have grown again and are really sensitive.
Not so much pregnancy related, but is anyone having terrible allergies right now? Pre-pregnancy I was on 5 daily allergy medicine and I'm down to two. I'm so stuffy and sneezy and have had the worst headache!
@merostomata Major pregnancy brain over here. I keep almost pouring water into my cereal, or several times I've taken my keys out to get on transit instead of my pass 😅
@krthouse I was having the same problem! It was driving me crazy. I bought an overnight lip mask from Sephora to try to help, but honestly I think I just need to drink way more water. When I do that, the symptoms seem to ease. My lips are also swollen/fuller. I feel like I look ridiculous, but people have assured me they can't really tell. 😅
I'm 15w1d and my main symptom right now is hip pain. I feel like sleeping on my left side puts all my weight on that hip, even with the support of a pregnancy pillow. It's been waking me up all through the night and I can't get comfortable, so I've also been getting terrible sleep. I had issues with sciatica before pregnancy so I assume this is more of the same - anyone have any tips for combating this? I assume I need to work way more on my core strength to support my lower back and that will help, but any tips for immediate relief would be incredible.
Also, I totally agree about pregnancy brain. For me it seems to be affecting my organization and time management. I keep missing meetings, not responding to emails, just missing stuff in general. Hopefully work will forgive me for the next few months lol.

I think mine is a circulation issue.
Is this a growth spurt section of pregnancy...?
@sandy5693 I don't know about heating pads during pregnancy. I usually just massage it. I really need to clean out our bathtub so I can soak to relax everything.

@sandy5693 @krysnicole1022 My allergies have definitely been worse in both my pregnancies
