Tonight I am having poke - my bowl consists of spicy salmon, regular salmon, spicy shrimp (cooked), green onions, corn, edamame, pineapples, ginger, wasabi, and brown rice. Nom.

I’m noticing that beef, steak, etc does not taste good to me anymore. Chicken has been tasting amazing. It’s subtle, but definitely my palate is a bit off.
I made shrimp fajita bowls for dinner tonight. Super yum! Also was craving donuts this morning so I took my son out to pick some up, but the second I took a bite, they all of a sudden became disgusting.

@Amphibious22 that was me and donuts two weeks ago. Of course I had to laugh because the boy person whined (while going to get them for me) that donuts were bad and awful and junk and then promptly ate 2/3 of the box.

had the first soft drink I've had in more than a month with dinner tonight because it sounded good (Pepsi). Why did I do that??? I feel so icky now.

I've been eating eggs for breakfast since I had gd with my first so about 4 years now. Lately I don't want them so I bought carnation instant breakfast which I used to drink in high school. It definitely brought memories of high school back, but it did the trick to not make me feel sick all morning while I didn't really eat anything.
A few weeks ago, I was loving curry and Mexican and anything spicy.
Now, I’m living on buttered noodles and peanut butter on graham crackers! The sicker I got, the more my body retreated to the “fussy toddler” diet haha
I lived on carnation instant breakfast in high school too! Lol

@kboydbowman I'm glad I'm not the only one. My niece (a teenager) now drinks it all the time too, maybe it's a teen thing, but it's helping me when I don't want to eat anything but don't want to feel pukey
@blanket_girl you sound exactly like me... I was pounding Takis and tacos and hot sauce. Now all I want are plain bagels, plain noodles, plain anything. And meat is a hard no- I can't go near the fridge if there is leftover meat in there.
Good: Chick-fil-A fries, spicy things, the stereotypical pickles, citrus fruit, I guess anything sour. Grilled chicken is still so far so good. Fresh fruit and vegetables I’ve found are working the best right now.
Bad: most dairy sounds super gross. Anything with a weird texture - this isn’t atypical for me at any time, I just usually don’t get nauseous thinking about it like I do now.
What are you guys eating for lunch? I have no issues eating breakfast and dinner but I just have zero motivation for lunch. I used to have sandwiches but now not eating deli meat I feel completely lost lol. Maybe I just need to move to paninis so the sandwich meat is cooked?
Poke sounds amazing. I’m making shrimp noodle soup for dinner 😋
TV dinners for lunch if I'm at work. Today was a butter chicken one from Wal-Mart.

@mk2022x I've turned to cheese and crackers most days. I picked up a salad last night that looked good, I'm hoping it looks good today for lunch as well.
@trapperkeeper87 my food aversions and morning sickness has been gnarly for the last 72 hours so plain bread was all i could handle. I couldn't even handle butter which is my favorite! It was a good jumpstart though and I finally feel like I am coming back to the land of the living
Well I WAS doing really well with healthy eating and today I woke up from a nap and suddenly became a huge cliche. Finished a jar of pickles AND drank the pickle juice 🤦♀️😳 I’ve been upping my water intake SO much I think i must be electrolyte deficient.

I literally have no appetite. I keep eating cereal and other carby things. I want to eat eggs but they sound sooo nauseating. Gah why can’t I have a personal chef who just makes all the right things??
. I need to get my diet on straight because I feel like I’ve become a terrible toddler mom right now. Tomorrow is for sure smoothies or we are all gonna be constipated lmfaoo .
So only carby things sound good @mamamoomoo12 a baguette sounds amazing. My midwife recommended I go back to my gd diet and I'm going to try so hard but all the meat sounds blah. She told me it's OK to not eat anything first trimester and just focus on drinking a lot of water. But if I don't eat carby stuff I feel like poop.
Fish, cheerios, and salt and vinegar chips are good. I can eat beef but it has to be a specific way. Peanut butter banana sandwiches are great!
Chicken is a big no and any type of red sauce/tomato sauce is a hard no unless it’s pizza sauce. This baby takes after their Dad, he doesn’t do tomatoes either.
@jhysmath Today I feel like I could get a bit more than carbs in me thank goodness. The last 3 days were so so rough. I have my mind set on tacos. But any meat that I have to sit there with a fork and knife and cut is a hard pass.
I’ve been fortunate to still be able to eat most things. However, I add a fistful of salt to everything right now. Which isn’t helping the bloat/water retention!
I am loving the taste of roasted purple onion with sweet potato, two things I’ve never liked even slightly! I’ve cooked it for dinner three times this week!
Last night I begged DH to grill me some bacon wrapped shrimp and he delivered! I sauteed some squash, onion, zucchini, and kielbasa to go with them. It was all SO good. ....Now this morning it makes me sick to even think about a shrimp.
I’m waiting for my OB appointment! We parked a bit away in the free lot that I know about (rather than the expensive medical plaza parking). And stopped to get a donut at this little local donut shop. This is exactly what we would do when we came for appointments when I was pregnant with my son. I got a vegan cinnamon donut and a decalf oat milk latte and both were not sweet and just perfect. It’s a gorgeous day and we sat in the sun to eat. Now we’re waiting to go in. Just the donut tradition was so comforting. Trying to stay very calm….
@magnolia209 that sounds like a punishment meal to me lol

Two weeks ago I ate Chipotle 4 times..last week and this week I can barely stomach any thing. All the things are making me sick and I've been so nauseous all week. Even chicken noodle soup was too much to handle. The only thing I can tolerate is blueberry muffins. I've been drinking a DripDrop everyday to hopefully at least get some electrolytes.
Man, the nausea is so much worse this time around than it was the first two times. First two pregnancies I loved food..I would just throw it all up later. This time Im just so nauseous I can't even bare to eat..hoping an end is in sight soon.
@whitta1015 that same thing keeps happening to me! I’ll eat something so good and the next morning the thought of it makes me want to puke. I used to take leftovers for lunch a lot, but now I’ve been eating out way more than I’d like to admit 😩
I can relate to folks saying their diets/palates are regressing—I’ve wanted cucumbers and ranch dressing and really plain foods. Tons of carbs like bagels. And fig Newtons I used to eat fish and shrimp once a week and now the thought of them repulses me, like when I was a kid. Seems like chicken and Turkey are the only things I both enjoy and can digest. Someone was talking about not eating deli meat—if you heat it in the microwave to steaming it’s ok! Salads have been better for lunch. It’s the only way I’ll eat boiled eggs (which I used to eat every morning!). Also with ranch dressing. I find mangoes really help boost energy and avocados are both filling and quell nausea.
The nausea is worse for me now compared with my first pregnancy, too. I typically eat a ton of vegetables but have not been able to stomach them and it's bumming me out. I was able to eat cucumber and raw snow peas for a while but even those things seem gross now. It gets worse throughout the day, too. I feel ok at breakfast (although my husband's breakfast of eggs and hot sauce makes me want to puke), then worse at lunch, and terrible by dinner time. Half a bagel with a smoothie has been good for breakfast, but every other meal is hard. I've been craving junky stuff but when I give in, my heartburn punishes me. 8 weeks and I'm hoping this starts to peak soon. Blah.
Today is an "all food is gross" day. But no eat = more nausea. Had some spicy pork stew w/rice for breakfast, some mixed oatmeal flavors for lunch (they all sounded gross so I figured maybe mixing them would be slightly less gross....I guess it sort of worked?), and then just ate some mini-avocados.

I’m mostly just living on buttered toast, pasta tossed in olive oil, and maybe some peanut butter if I’m really feeling good.
