Thank you @arksha14 ! I’ve got a firm memory foam pillow that I’m going to try. Im thinking when my stomach gets bigger I might look for a cheaper wedge pillow. I just don’t think this pregnancy pillow is going to cut it.
I also have trouble with a pregnancy pillow and prefer to just use something smallish under my belly…this is my second pregnancy and I didn’t like it for my first pregnancy either!
@mrsmeg72 I was also having a lot of hip pain from shoving a pillow between my legs. It could be that the knee is too high above the hip. Think keeping the knee in line with the hip so try a smaller pillow. That has helped me.
I don't know if this has been discussed already but does anyone have an opinion on getting waxed before delivery and if you have before when did you get the service done? I would think that if it is too close to delivery it could possibly be an issue but if it is a while before delivery it would somewhat defeat the purpose since hair would be growing back..
Baby was born in August…about 3 month PP I thought I started noticing muscle weakness/body changes, especially in my legs and hands. My dad died of ALS and we don’t know if it was sporadic or familial (aka I could have the gene that causes ALS, it’s very low likelihood but still possible). My mind keeps going to the thought that I have ALS and it’s scaring me so much.
Has anyone else had muscle weakness/body composition changes particularly in thighs and hands after having baby? This is my second baby and I just turned 32, so I want to chalk it all up to just postpartum body changes and aging…
I do plan to also visit a doc to talk further about this, just hoping someone else has experienced something similar!
