C prefers the hifold to the Radian I had in there. So the black seat is the regular Radian R and that’s what he had previously. It doesn’t latch because it is just a straight booster. Here’s a good review, other than MH, who usually deals with the seat and adjusting it, swears it doesn’t pinch and my SIL also says the same. https://csftl.org/hifold-fit-and-fold-high-back-booster-seat-review/
I’m thinking the Rodifix looks similar to the Peg Perrigo booster that I have and the biggest problem with those over either the Radian or the hifold, especially, is the ability for a kid to get to their seatbelt. The hifold is the easiest seat for him to be able to buckle himself. And that’s truly the problem that you will have sitting three across—the ability for the kiddo to buckle themselves.
I'll check with the dr on Monday but does anyone know of anything pregnancy safe to take to try and eliminate the runs im having. Im sure its not covid, been too long and I did do a rapid test.
Its been well over a month and really getting to me now. I'm going to ask her for a stool kit also but wondering if there's anything I can try in the meantime... diet adjustments dont seem to make a difference and im having 0 caffiene. 😧
@cas060 I’m not sure off the top of my head and Dr. google gives conflicting answers. I would try bananas and rice. Those always help when I have diarrhea. Also could it be a gastrointestinal issue like diverticulitis? If so don’t do rice as it could irritate it more
@wigglyicecream thanks. Bananas give me terrible heartburn but we did have rice tonight. I googled diverticulitis and I dont seem to have the other symptoms so maybe unlikely. I historically have a finicky stomach so there likely is some undiscovered underlying cause... that I should probably investigate eventually. Thanks for the suggestions.
@cas060 my OB gave me the ok to take imodium when I was feeling that way a few weeks ago. I've also eaten crystallized ginger when my stomach was really upset.
@cas060 Ugh, that sounds rough. Have you tried Gatorade + white bread and crackers? I’d cut out all fiber for a few days and stick to a BRAT diet. You should be able to have a little peanut butter on the toast for protein.
@cas060 I second a bland diet for a few days. Chicken breast is also bland, or pasta. But I would skip any sauces or marinades and see what it does in a couple days. Be sure to be drinking plenty of fluids as well.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I had to Google the definition of diarrhea today.. and its ME! 😒 I've tried brat.. not working. I have been drinking a lot of cranberry juice because everything was metallic including water but that seems to have subsided so as a last resort I'm cutting all sugary beverages.. maybe my gutt can't handle it.
Oh no, how devastating @paytonpedro IF is just so cruel. Those ladies are some of the strongest people, it always amazes me how they keep going after bad news and how they’re able to support each other even when going through so much of their own heartbreak.

@paytonpedro I’m so sorry to hear that. It is incredibly hard when it does not work. Hell, it’s hard when it does work. I hope your friend can find some comfort during this time.
Is anyone thinking about getting tubes tied after this baby? I will be having a C-section so im thinking I should just get it done. I will not be going through pregnancy again.
@Katek819 my SO is going to get a vasectomy after i recovery from my C-section. This will be my last pregnancy as well. Although the idea of more kids sounds nice it isn’t realistic given my medical history.
@wigglyicecream that is kinda my reasoning as well. My overall health is great and its make my pregnancies .... uncomfortable to say the least. Plus I've always pictured having 2 kids. just like I grew up.
@Katek819 my issue is more bc of the uterine rupture i experienced from my ectopic. Because of it I can’t carry a baby to full term and I have to have a C-section. I don’t think it would be fair to my body of kids to keep being cut into. Also I’m borderline high risk now and would be if I wanted more bio kids in the future. If we want more I will consider either getting a surrogate or adoption.
Ok so I know we've talked about back pain and side sleeping before. I know that sleeping on my left side is supposed to be better for me, but every night, my left leg goes numb when I lie down on my left side. I do have 5 herniated discs, 3 in my lower back and one is pushing on my sciatic nerve. This happened pre-pregnancy, too. Last night I I tried sleeping on my left side, leg went numb so I switched to my right side and was up every 2 hours, having to go to the bathroom. I'm so frustrated. I talked to my OB and she said not to worry right now because it's happened in the past, so it's not a pregnancy problem. The thing is, I need my sleep in order to function throughout the day at school. Any thoughts, ideas?
@bridgiebee82 Can you sleep on your right side, stomach, or back? Stomach will become impossible at some point, and back will be discouraged third tri, but for now?
@bridgiebee82 can you kind of make yourself a bit of a pillow fort similar to this?? I have a bad back and my right side is currently shooting pains down my legs, but maybe this would help you too:
@wisewitch222 I'm typically a stomach sleeper, but it's been uncomfortable with the RLP. The right side is ok, but I wake up a lot. @mdfarmchick I love the idea of a pillow fort. I do have the snoogle pillow but maybe I need more.
@bridgiebee82 I’m not good at describing in words what I do but that picture is a pretty good example. I just have a kind size pillow and the boppy pillow to tuck under my bump. It takes the pressure off of my hips and lower back. I hope it helps you.
@bridgiebee82 that pillow fort looked like a great idea to keep my on my stomach as long as possible. Last time I used one flat pillow under one side of the bump to pseudo stomach sleep.
@bridgiebee82 per my stalking of other bmb’s I’ve read that some other pregnant people’s OBs and midwives have said that you can sleep on your back just not flat. I guess if you prop yourself on one side then it’s not as bad. I would of course double check with your dr especially since you have double the passengers than I.
Re: sleeping on your back… my doctor told me in my first pregnancy that sleeping on your back is fine in early pregnancy and your body will tell you when it’s not fine anymore. That was absolutely true for me, I remember waking up with bellyaches when I would sleep on back at a certain point.
Re: sleeping on your belly… my doctor told me something similar. If it’s still comfortable, it’s still fine.
Is pseudo stomach sleeper stomach with knee out to lift the belly/hips a little? If so, count me in! Although, it’s starting to get uncomfy as I can feel my uterus when I lay on it.
That’s interesting.😂 I’m literally due the LAST day of August, and even if I thought that the second trimester started at the beginning of week 12, that’s not till Wednesday.😅 I still have a week and a couple days. Maybe they think double digits means second trimester? Or starting the 3rd month..?

i second the pillow fort. Just keep trying different things. Left side right side leg over pillow etc. Maybe ask a chiropractor?
