Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
Yes, I have 5 other children. I love camping, skiing, being outdoors.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am very nauseous but good. My first appointment with my midwife is the end of October.
Welcome Knottie! Make sure to update your username for easier tagging and recognition. You may have to log out and then back in for it to be successful!
Introduce yourself: Good morning! The bump ate my first intro while I was trying to fix my spoiler box, so I will do this again and hope the other intro doesn’t show back up as well
Due date? Tentatively 5/6, I will have a dating ultrasound on 9/15
How did you find out? Home test and confirmed by beta HCGs this week
Tell us about yourself: I have 2 girls, the oldest in 1st grade and the youngest I stay home with during the week. I work part time on weekends as an RN
How are you feeling? TW: losses
I had a MC my last cycle and have had 2 other MC between my 2 kids. So I suspect I will have some lingering early pregnancy anxiety until first trimester is done. My hcg this week was higher than I’ve seen with my previous losses as well as when I was pregnant with my 3yo, so I feel hopeful. I needed to be on progesterone the first tri with my now 3yo as well, and it was on the very low end of normal when I tested this week so I am supplementing again this time. I will have the dating ultrasound because calculating with no cycle after the MC can be a bit off.
GTKY: I love reading, house plants, and hanging out with my girls!
How did you find out? Took a test after realizing I was 4 days late and my dog wouldn't give me space or leave me alone for a minute. No other symptoms like my first two pregnancies.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Two girls, 3 and 1.5. I've been with my husband for 8 years (married for 4 years). We have a pitbull who is the best cuddler around. I work in plant propagation on the weekends while I stay home with my girls during the week.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling mostly tired and started having aversions to all food today besides tacos. I'm certain this baby will only want Mexican food for the whole pregnancy lol. Emotionally I think I'm still processing that I'm going to have three kids next year and it just doesn't seem real. I also have been crying over every dog video I've watched lately.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Obsessed with reading Stephen King and collecting plant books from book fairs.
Introduce yourself: hi! I am 36 and this is my first pregnancy
Due date? May 9th, dating ultrasound/appt 10/1
How did you find out? We had been trying so I took a pregnancy test 4 days before my missed period and I was pregnant!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m newly married- 5 months in- and we live in sf. First pregnancy so no kids!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) the past few days very bloated, cramps, and tired but feel pretty good today!
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We thought it would take a lot longer to get pregnant since I’m almost 37 but this happened pretty fast! I am so excited- I feel like my perspective on my body and the future has completely changed in the last three days. Fingers crossed this all goes well. It feels crazy to have this big secret.
Introduce yourself: hello! Jen Austin from saint louis mo
Due date? May 6
How did you find out? Was 2 days late on period and took a test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). I’m married to my husband Ron and I have a 5 year old son Elijah
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?). Excited! Did two hcgs which were within normal limits. Nervous- we were told we would need IVF so was very surprised by this pregnancy
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself. I looooooooove puzzles!!!! I had a puzzle room in my house but during covid it has turned into my home office.
@knottie7a4151f30d21fc28 I can definitely relate to sudden changing feelings about your body! When I was a teenager I went on hormonal birth control because I wasn’t ovulating, and my mom has a history of IF and miscarriages, so I was prepared for this to take much longer than it did. I’d literally said, “I know I’m being silly, I’m not pregnant” before taking this test. It still feels very surreal and probably will until we get an ultrasound.
Hey y'all, I'm Meg! I'm 32, and I love watching GA sunsets from my front porch.
Due date? 5/6
How did you find out?
My DD (6) was sitting next to me and playing Toca Life on her iPad. She pointed at the character on-screen and said, "Look, Mommy! She has a baby in her tummy - just like you!"
****TW****
We had an early loss in April, and had to explain to her a few times why the baby wouldn't be coming. I assumed she was talking about that, so I went into a whole Mom spiel about "no honey, remember we told you that Nana is holding the baby in Heaven..." etc. She looked at me like I was so dense and said, "well, okay." Later on that night, I looked at my Flo app and realized I was only two days from my period. I took a test out of grudging habit (been trying for a while), and almost immediately/very unexpectedly got two lines! I was shocked, then remembered our convo from earlier, and I truly believe she meant THIS baby rather than the baby we lost. I can't wait to share that story with/about her once we get further along. I think she already senses it - is that crazy?!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
DH (32), DD (6), DS (4).
We live in a rural area, and have several outdoor cats that we inherited when we bought the house. We are currently obsessed with watching a newly discovered family of adorable trash pandas who apparently like to play on our porch at night.
I've been a SAHM since a few months before we had DS, initially due to a loss of project funding (yay for grant-funded work!), but now by choice. I was adamant that I would never be a SAHM, but 5 years later...here I am, being mediocre at it (haha, but seriously..), and LOVING it!
I have a degree in Human Services, and previously worked as a Communications Coordinator in the non-profit/public health sector.
Currently trying my hand at coaching my daughter's rec. cheerleading squad (fifteen 4-6 year olds) and that has been quite....interesting. Haha!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I've had nausea and noticeable fatigue since the day before I tested. The nausea has been insane and constant this week, which really shocked me. Especially since I didn't have much at all with DD or DS - certainly none this early!
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
"My name is Meg, and I'm an addict!" (Anyone who has been in the rooms got a little chuckle out of that, I hope! :) ) But seriously, I am a grateful recovering addict, and I celebrated 9 years clean this past May.
I know that, statistically speaking , there will be someone in the group who is either in early recovery, or who is newly seeking recovery due to their pregnancy. So I wanted to share that in hopes that you will feel safe to reach out for support if you need it. My internet ears are always open. We do recover, and you ARE worthy of it!
Sorry for such a long intro. Y'all will come to find that I basically suck at condensing thoughts/word count. The harder I try, the longer posts get. I apologize in advance! :)
Hi everyone! I’m Kate, 29, first pregnancy and super excited!
Due date? May 1
How did you find out? Hubby and I have been TTC for about 20 months so I’ve been meticulously tracking my cycle (which has always been irregular so that was fun). OB had also put me on medication and if I didn’t get pregnant this cycle, we were going to start discussing infertility treatments. I was so excited when my test was positive I started crying.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 2 adorable kitties. I work as a mechanical engineer for a company that produces medical tubing. I was one of the lucky few who got to go into the office every single day during this pandemic because I am “essential to keep production running” while most of the office worked from home. Hubby, 30, is a civil and environmental engineer that works for the state. He also cried in excitement when we first found out.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling excited and a bit nervous. First appointment is an ultrasound on 9/20 and that feels like so far away! So far, dealing with occasional mild nausea but it’s not bad. The smell of my minty toothpaste almost made me puke the other morning, so that was fun.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! My hobbies include reading (usually fantasy and science fiction books), knitting, baking, watching movies and tv shows, and kayaking. I can’t wait to introduce my little one to all the fun nerdy things I enjoy.
@kellyt89 Right now I’ve been obsessed with the books in the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo. Started with shadow and bone (and then it’s sequels), then Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, now I’m about halfway through King of Scars. I watched the show on Netflix and needed to know more.
How did you find out? I randomly took a test on Monday because I was spotting last week and never fully started my period
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a nurse and in NP school. My husband and I have 3 dogs that we adore. We love you travel, watch any sports and hang out outside with friends and family.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) We’ve been trying for over 4 years. We’ve done IUI and had a miscarriage and when we went to do IUI the pandemic hit and the uncertainty and stress was a lot so we just paused all fertility treatment type things. Last month I was sure I was pregnant and swore (and so did my friends) that the test was positive but beta was negative. Then my period came. And then by some luck we did it naturally this month! We are both excited and trying to remain present in our excitement, but also cautious and nervous. My first beta was 53 then 3 days later 86 (so not quite doubled) so they checked again today and it was a perfect double. We are a little more assured for now.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I was a huge homebody growing up, but since I was 20, I’ve moved to 5 different states!
@alataweasley I loved those too, I flew through them this summer! Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom were my favorite - I love Inej, Kaz, Jesper and Nina!
How did you find out? I had a gut feeling, and I had a faint bfp on Thursday. Today it was definitively confirmed!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a Belgian Malinois, Panzer, who is a K9 flunky, and a chip-eared blue brindle pittie, Belle, that we rescued out of a cornfield. My husband is recently retired from the Army. I work for an awesome company that makes metal stamping presses. We closed on our first house last week, so I'm in full decorating mode!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Emotionally - elated but very anxious, we experienced a very rough loss in March. First OB appointment is on Tuesday. Morning sickness started yesterday and ramped up today.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I'm working on two books, one that will be headed to the publisher soon!
@kellyt89 six of Crows and crooked kingdom are my favorites as well. The ending devastated me though because Matthias (and his relationship with Nina) was one of my favorites. I started reading shadow and bone at the beginning of June.
@Bababatty I meant to pick up kids toothpaste while at the store yesterday but I totally forgot…
How did you find out? We’ve been TTC since January and only got serious about it and been tracking ovulation for the last 2 months. So not a super cute story there. Haha
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) my husband Matt and I have an almost 3 year old daughter and 2 dogs. We live in the beautiful PNW where I was born and raised (for the most part), husband is from northern California.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m so emotionally, crying at the littlest emotional moments.
I’m also a little anxious. I had a chemical pregnancy last month and am trying not to get too excited yet as that was such a huge, unexpected let down. Still find myself processing that experience because I was one of those who thought “oh that will never happen to me”. But since then I’ve heard a lot about similar experiences and feel like I’m a little more in better head space about it.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I spent 1.5 years in Paris, France when I was 4, and spent another 2.5 years in Munich, Germany when I was 10-13 years old due to my dad’s work. Supposedly I was fluent in French but you wouldn’t know now!
@rainbowchaos@mrsrotti Welcome! I'm sorry for your previous losses! I totally understand the anxiety of a BFP following loss. FX everything continues to go smoothly!
@rainbowchaos finger crossed and lots of sticky baby thoughts coming your way. How COOL that you’re a writer with a book headed to the publisher! That’s awesome!
Introduce yourself: I’m tentatively jumping in here even though it’s still so early 😬 I’m B and will hopefully be a STM. I live in KY.
Due date? 5/19 based on LMP
How did you find out? Nothing exciting, we’ve been trying on and off for the past 7 months or so and I took a test yesterday.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) we have a daughter that turned 1 in July, 2 cats, and a dog! Life is a little crazy but fun. I work for a health insurance company and recently got a promotion. My husband is a CPA.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Shocked, it took 2 years and fertility treatments to conceive our daughter. I’ve had really bad dry mouth and some nausea upon waking up for the past several days, but attributed that to the couple of drinks MH and i had every night since Thursday. I took a test Friday that was negative. I’m also trying to temper my expectations since my test wasn’t really darker today and I’m not even 4 weeks yet. First appointment will be 10/11.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I lived in Spain for 9 months and MH and I did long distance the whole time even though we had just started dating 4 months before I left. I think it’s cool he waited 😎 but overall, I don’t think I’m that interesting lol
Introduce yourself: Hey, my name is Courtney! I am 25 and this will be my 4th baby.
Due date? May 18 according to last period
How did you find out? I took a test randomly 3 days before my missed period. I didn't have any reason to suspect I was pregnant so I was quite surprised.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 5 & almost 1 yr old daughters, & a 4 year old son. I am a stay at home mom currently while I finish my finance degree (done in December). I hope to work from home once I have my degree. My husband and I have been married for 5 years in November and we've always wanted to have 4 kids!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I'm nervous because I have had a loss in between baby 2 & 3. I can't really tell if I have symptoms because I'm getting over hand, foot, & mouth (thanks kids 😂).
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We live on my husband's family's farm and breed Katahdin sheep. I also just started homeschooling my kindergartener this year.
Hi there! I am 29 and after a journey with PCOS and infertility we are so excited to be pregnant with our first! Just found out this week :))) DD is May 13th.
We have two cats, are both business owners, and are planning on moving when I’m 5 months pregnant to another state, so I’m trying to figure out what the best thing to do for medical care is. Currently going to my Obgyn that I’ve had for infertility but I really want to do midwife care & a water birth.
How did you find out? I am wide awake at 4am every single day. Same thing happened with my 1st pregnancy.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a crazy 18-month old DD. We are super excited for her to be a big sister. She LOVES babies. Tomorrow is my H's 40th birthday and he doesn't know yet. I will sign the card from DD + baby.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My only symptom is being wide awake at 4am and peeing all the time at night. I hope this pregnancy is as good as my first. I felt great until the very end. Just had some mild nausea around 7 weeks but then I felt absolutely normal. I need to call my midwife for my first ultrasound.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! This baby is due on my 40th birthday!

@rikiteacup ah hi! So good to see you here! I’ve also been sleeping terribly. I definitely had insomnia 1st tri last time too, but otherwise a great pregnancy. Fx the same is true for both of us this time around!
Introduce yourself: Hey hey! I'm Karisa and I'm 28 years old from CT.
Due date? May 4th
How did you find out? I was tracking my ovulation and started to get heartburn at 9 dpo, so I decided to test and got a vvvfl and then I kept testing and it kept getting darker and darker!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I work in marketing and my husband is a graphic designer. We got married in May and are currently living in my in-law's basement with our two cats as we renovate our new home!
TW: Miscarriage
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Today I am feeling very hopeful, but I had a miscarriage in July, so I've been so nervous. I had some spotting the past couple of days but amazing HCG numbers, so we went in for an early ultrasound today and were able to confirm the pregnancy and we saw a heartbeat!!! Both my husband and I sobbed in front of the poor sonogram women lol My midwife isn't concerned and thinks it's because I never got my period between the miscarriage and this pregnancy, but of course, I'm still a little nervous.
End TW
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! As I mentioned above my husband and I are currently renovating a 101-year-old house. We bought it in March and are finally close to finishing it up. We're done with contractors right now and just need to do the cosmetic updates (paint, tiling, trim, etc.). I am SOOO looking forward to finally being in that space
@karisahamdi Oh I want to see pictures of your house! I love before and after. I also used to live in a house built in 1898 a while ago and I did cosmetic renovations inside and outside.

Introduce yourself: I'm Lauren. Cautiously intro'ing as a third time mom. I'm from Indiana and am 34yo (almost geriatric, ha!)
Due date? I think it's May 16.
How did you find out? I took a test very very early, a week ago. It was a very faint positive so I waited another day, took another test and it stayed positive and then called my OB. I thought for sure this would be another CP, as I'm very prone to them, but after some questionable hcg numbers, yesterday's looked good so I'm seeing where this takes us.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I've been married to DH for 7 years. We have two kids, DS is going to be 4 next month and DD is 2. I'm an attorney.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?): All over the place. I never had much nausea with my other two so hoping that continues with this LO. I'm tired. Soooo tired. Emotionally unattached until the first ultrasound which is scheduled for October 7.
Excited to get to know you all! I've been the BMBs for both my previous kids and my O17 board includes some of my best friends to date.
How I found out: On Labor Day! I woke up from a nap and something told me I should take a test just to see. Was totally not expecting to see a positive, but I’m so excited! Hubby and I have been TTC for almost 6 months. This is our first baby.
About Me: I’m an event planner and hubby is a graphic designer. We live with our two fur babies, our cat Leo and a Norwegian Elkhound named Kari. Both have started to become attached to me (more than normal) as if they can sense I’m pregnant. Not sure if that’s a thing?
How I’m feeling: Exhausted and frequent pee breaks, and very bloated. I’m also hungry. All. The. Time. Anyone else have been feeling hungry off and on? My other friends who have kids said they never experienced that in their first trimester so maybe it’s just me? My first OB appointment is Oct. 5. Very excited and also extremely nervous. Just want it to be a great visit and baby is healthy :)
Introduce yourself: Hey all! I am Jessica- Mama of 2, one miscarriage in 2011, and currently pregnant!
Due date? Based on my LMP, I'm due May 1st but feel I ovulated late as I didn't get a positive test until this past week.
How did you find out? Interesting story- I started taking a conception supplement last month and when my period was late but I started testing negative, I read that the supplement could mess up your cycle so I assumed that happened to me. I stopped taking it. Went to see the gyno (where they tested me negative on 8/31) she told me not to stress. Went about my life and then my fiance questioned if I had gotten my period yet or not so I decided to test for funsies this past Tuesday. Walked away and forgot about it- BOOM, pregnant when I finally glanced at it 20 minutes later. Took two more tests plus bloodwork confirmed Tuesday.
Tell us about yourself: I have an almost 13 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. My fiance and I have been actively trying to conceive for over a year and a half now with no success.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Pretty stressed out, lol. I'm currently in denial that this pregnancy is going to be viable as I've read tons of reviews stating people miscarried when getting pregnant off the supplement I was taking. I'm trying to remain positive but will definitely have a hard time relaxing until I'm further along. I have my first appointment tomorrow morning (thanks to having a SIL that works at the OBGYN.) I feel like we've just tried so hard and this can't be real but I am PRAYING so hard this is our time! I have tested every morning since Tuesday to confirm the line darkening just to help ease my mind. So far, so good.
GTKY: I work in the Mental Health industry. I enjoy walking, reading, and traveling!
Due date? 5/18, but unsure it that's accurate due to a weird period last month.
How did you find out? I thought that I was starting early ( my periods are pretty much like clockwork) due to cramping and minor spotting. My period never really started and spotting stopped. When venting to my cousin about this being a long drawn out process she asked if I was pregnant. It really hadn't crossed my mind. I had a left over test that I took yesterday and was shocked that it was positive. Which was followed by multiple other tests to confirm that it wasn't a fluke.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 34, an OTA student and I graduate in May. I have a 9 y/o boy. My boyfriend is an electrician. We've been dating for about 17 months. He's amazing and loves me so well, and is SO good with my son. I love live music and all things outdoors.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first appt is 10/7, I'll be 8 weeks. My breasts are very tender, I'm bloated, hungry, fatigued, and have some mild cramping and back aches. I'm honestly still not sure how to feel. I'm currently a full time student and the timing is just not ideal. My bf and I have talked about getting married, but we planned to wait until after I graduate in May. I can't help but be a little disappointed because I met the man of my dreams and really felt like I was doing things the "right way", and now things just won't be able to happen the way that I imagined. On top of that, we had an early loss in January, and a weird period last month that I wondered if it wasn't a super early loss too. My midwife friend told me that early pregnancy is a total mind f*!#$, and she is so right. lol So, I'm definitely a little anxious and unsure of how things will play out this time.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I love to go backpacking and play the ukulele.
We have been ttc since May, my cycles have been extremely on the dot since I got my IUD out. I was supposed to get AF on Saturday and the day before I thought my boobs seemed incredibly sore. I didn't get my period obviously and we were camping so we came home Sunday and I just had a feeling I should take a test and I used a cheap Amazon one at first and before I even put it down I could see both lines! It was so exhilarating so I grabbed a clear blue and tested it too, positive! I still can't believe it but it also makes sense to why I was feeling so uncomfortable (boobs and bloated) and my sense of smell is nuts! Everything was smelling so strong over the weekend and still is. Haha!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This is my hubby's and I first baby! We have two cats and might be adopting a dog (we were looking before we got pregnant and I told my husband I'd rather adopt one now than when we have a baby!)
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
First appt is in October! Yes symptoms! Before I even was positive but I was so convinced it was just my period coming lol mostly my boobs are already larger and tender, sense of smell, pretty tired in the afternoons (but maybe just missing my afternoon coffee). Emotionally I feel excited but also nervous I'll do something wrong
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
I have a younger brother who was born when I was 15 and now he will be 15 when my baby is born! That's sort of cool
Introduce yourself: hello! I've been lurking for a while and I'm hesitantly jumping in. Wanted to confirm my betas look ok first before I intro'd, and they took for-freaking-ever to get back! I won't get into personal specifics, but I'm in my 30s and I live in the southern part of the US.
Due date? 🤷♀️ so by LMP, 5/16. But I ovulate early (and of course this cycle is the one where I couldn't pinpoint the day and might have O'd even earlier) so I'm probably a bit further along than what my LMP says, but I'll go with it until my Dr says otherwise. So somewhere between 5/13-5/16.
How did you find out? POAS last Thursday.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). I'm an engineer, I have one daughter who is almost 3 (O18 BMB, my username has changed 😉), 1 dog, and a really awesome, supportive DH. It's been a heck of a summer for us, but I'm excited for the future!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I'm pretty anxious TBH. First appointment is 9/28, so I'll be about 7 weeks.
TW loss
I had a miscarriage in May at 7 weeks so I'm naturally pretty worried about this pregnancy. I do have slightly more symptoms than last time, which is kind of encouraging. The 6 week mark is where symptoms kicked my a$$ with DD (and I had *none* of that with the pregnancy that ended in MC) so awful "all day" sickness will be quite comforting, in a way, if I get it again.
As for now, not many symptoms other than bloating, cramping, and mild all-day nausea. I feel like I might be getting some food aversions soon, but it could be all in my head because I'm desperate to feel something. With DD, I didn't find out I was PG until past 5 weeks, so I'm not expecting many intense symptoms until 6-7 weeks, since historically they're pretty mild early on.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Hmmm...I'm a certified SCUBA diver! I haven't been in years, but it's definitely something I miss. My parents started taking my brother and I when I was in junior high, so I hope one day to have family dive trips of my own.
Re: Introductions!
Due date? May 8th
I am very nauseous but good. My first appointment with my midwife is the end of October.

Due date? May 5th
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! Obsessed with reading Stephen King and collecting plant books from book fairs.
Due date? May 6
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself. I looooooooove puzzles!!!! I had a puzzle room in my house but during covid it has turned into my home office.
Due date?
Due date? May 1
How did you find out?
Due date? May 7 according to my LMP
How did you find out? I randomly took a test on Monday because I was spotting last week and never fully started my period
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m a nurse and in NP school. My husband and I have 3 dogs that we adore. We love you travel, watch any sports and hang out outside with friends and family.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
We’ve been trying for over 4 years.
@alataweasley I also couldn't handle minty toothpaste with my first. I switched to children's toothpaste, which thankfully solved the problem.
Due date?
May 11th
I had a gut feeling, and I had a faint bfp on Thursday. Today it was definitively confirmed!
We have a Belgian Malinois, Panzer, who is a K9 flunky, and a chip-eared blue brindle pittie, Belle, that we rescued out of a cornfield. My husband is recently retired from the Army. I work for an awesome company that makes metal stamping presses. We closed on our first house last week, so I'm in full decorating mode!
Emotionally - elated but very anxious, we experienced a very rough loss in March. First OB appointment is on Tuesday. Morning sickness started yesterday and ramped up today.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!
I'm working on two books, one that will be headed to the publisher soon!
Due date? May 14th
Due date? 5/19 based on LMP
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I lived in Spain for 9 months and MH and I did long distance the whole time even though we had just started dating 4 months before I left. I think it’s cool he waited 😎 but overall, I don’t think I’m that interesting lol
Due date? May 18 according to last period
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! We live on my husband's family's farm and breed Katahdin sheep. I also just started homeschooling my kindergartener this year.
We have two cats, are both business owners, and are planning on moving when I’m 5 months pregnant to another state, so I’m trying to figure out what the best thing to do for medical care is. Currently going to my Obgyn that I’ve had for infertility but I really want to do midwife care & a water birth.
Due date? 5/13
I am wide awake at 4am every single day. Same thing happened with my 1st pregnancy.
I have a crazy 18-month old DD. We are super excited for her to be a big sister. She LOVES babies. Tomorrow is my H's 40th birthday and he doesn't know yet. I will sign the card from DD + baby.
My only symptom is being wide awake at 4am and peeing all the time at night. I hope this pregnancy is as good as my first. I felt great until the very end. Just had some mild nausea around 7 weeks but then I felt absolutely normal. I need to call my midwife for my first ultrasound.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!

Introduce yourself:
Hey all!
Emotionally?)
Pretty stressed out, lol.
GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself! I love to go backpacking and play the ukulele.
Hi all! I'm Ress
May 15, 2022
This is my hubby's and I first baby! We have two cats and might be adopting a dog (we were looking before we got pregnant and I told my husband I'd rather adopt one now than when we have a baby!)
TW loss
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
