  • @And846 ahhhhhhh! So stoked for you.
  • @smashjam thanks, friend! I was torn which BMB to go to since LMP and Conception date put me in different months.
  • @And846 it is hard to know! My due date is so late I'll bet there's girls in May who go before I do because I'm always late!
  • @knottiee09 due date buddies! That’s awesome about the horses! My DD and i drive by horses daily and she loves it.

@knottiee029abad71ac92e2 welcome and i love a good Reno project as well! Please make sure to change your username to something a little easier to identify!
  • How’s this? Should be changed now. Thanks for the tip :)
  • It’s still showing as knottiee and all then numbers/letters. Try logging out and then back in. That should fix it :)
  • How about now?
  • @herekatiekatie welcome! I totally get what you are saying! My motto…positive vibes. You are pregnant today and can’t control every detail!
  • @Bababatty welcome! I definitely understand that feeling between betas. I may or may have not gone down dr google between to analyze numbers. I only get a 7wk us at my RE before they graduate me.
  • @itsagalsworls1024 welcome! I was also on the July2018 bmb!

  • @NatalieGentry @kellyt89 @amyjeanne86 welcome!! Looking forward to getting to know you!
  • knottiec4d7e80d92bfb3d0 change your name so you're easier to tag! you may need to log out and back in for it to update.

    @anniemarie887 Just changed it!
  • Congrats! Don’t sweat the OB appointments. They won’t be doing any internal exams until late in the third trimester, and I believe you can opt out of them completely, if you wish. Regardless, you’ll have plenty of time to discuss best options with your practitioner :)
  • @annashaf @kellyt89 my OB acutally does an internal exam at the 8 week/confirmation appointment. just make sure you tell your provider about your concern and they should be gentle and work with you!
  • This is good to know! I know I’m due for a Pap (my least favorite, ugh) but I was told I wouldn’t have one at this appointment. I usually take anti-anxiety medication for paps but that’s obviously off the table!

Would a PCP do transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks? I’d love to see what’s going on but it seems like I may have to wait another few weeks.
  • Can anyone tell me if these stomach aches are actually cramping? I feel silly for asking but I guess the more I experience it the more I’m starting to think like wait a minute lol it doesn’t  feel like period cramps to me but I’m also not used to having stomach aches and it does feel more like cramping. Seems higher than I’d expect though?
  • Introduce yourself:

Hi everyone!! My name is Sydney and I’m 22 years old, living in Michigan. I will be 23 by the time I have my baby and I mostly planned for it!

    Due date?

Currently my due date is predicted to be May 1st

    How did you find out?

My period typically comes like clockwork so when it was supposed to be it’s final day with no sign of it coming I took a pregnancy test! Since then I’ve taken 3 overall because I almost can’t believe it!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)

I’m currently unemployed and this will be my first baby. My boyfriend and I have been together a year now and known each other for 2. He’s older than me, 35, and he has a daughter who is 17! He’s the breadwinner of our family and is very content with that and knows how much I’ve always wanted to have a baby. He also has an amazing relationship with his daughter and so do I!

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)

Emotionally I’m honestly thrilled and scared! I know I’m super early and I’m really scared that something will happen and I will miscarry. I’m taking my prenatal vitamins as of when I found out at week 5 and eating healthy. So far I find myself tired more and earlier so I’ve been sleeping more. I also find myself getting slight stomach aches after eating and I’m drinking and peeing more. Otherwise I don’t have any other symptoms. My first appointment is scheduled for September 23. Otherwise I’m thrilled to be pregnant and actually see more symptoms come and a bump and to feel just more secure in the pregnancy? I hope to get some reassurance and am trying to reassure myself through youtube meditations and just affirming thoughts.

GTKY: Tell us a fun or interesting fact about yourself!

I recently went to Greece with my boyfriend and his family for a month and a half and we conceived while there!! His family is fully Greek and his parents moved to the US then had him so he’s first generation American! Our vacation was amazing and it’s kinda crazy to believe what we came back with 💖

    Hello and welcome! Sydney
  • @abmom21 due date buddies and I also have 2 girls aged 1 and 3!! Congrats on your pregnancy. I hope your knee flare up doesn’t slow you down too much.
  • @sydney0like0australia @abmom21 @bumphi welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you!
  • @sydney0like0australia @abmom21 Welcome!

@sydney0like0australia I'm originally from Michigan, too! I was just home visiting family the other week.

  • @annashaf thank you! So far, so good! I had a little twinge of pain, but it usually flares around 6-8 weeks, so we still have a little time until then 🤞
Awe so exciting to be due date buddies with you! Can you belive we're TTMs?! I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it lol.

Introduce yourself: Good morning! Cautiously intro-ing as a third time mom

Due date? tentatively 5/6, dating ultrasound in a couple weeks

How did you find out? Home test and confirmed by beta hcgs this week

Tell us about yourself: I have 2 girls, the oldest in 1st grade and the other I stay home with during the week. I work part time as a RN on weekends

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
    TW: losses

    <div class="Spoiler">
I had a MC last cycle, and have had 2 other MCs between my older kids. So I suspect I will have some lingering early pregnancy anxiety until 1st trimester has passed. My betas were high compared to my previous losses as well as my last successful pregnancy with my 3yo so that helps me feel a little better. I am taking progesterone as my first result was on the very bottom end of normal and I did need progesterone through the first tri to support my last pregnancy as well. I’ll have the dating ultrasound becuase I didn’t have a cycle after the last MC and so calculating may be a little off. </div>

GTKY: I love reading, houseplants and hanging out with my girls.

Edit: trying to fix my spoiler box
  • @art02918 welcome! How exciting to have lived in Africa and South America! Ditto on fertility treatments and heartbeats! Looking forward to getting to know you!
