@greencupcake23 I agree with @modoodles  ask your dr to run your betas at least for the peace of mind. Hopefully you can get some reassurance with the blood test Thursday.

  • @greencupcake23 I’m sorry you’re in this scary waiting place right now, especially after waiting so long for a +.

And it sounds like your DH telling his parents earlier than you’d agreed just makes it more stressful.

I hope you have some good support to be with you during this time. Sending you good wishes. ❤️

  • Been having some spotting the last couple of days that makes me anxious.  I've read that some spotting is normal but it's just so nerve-racking wondering if everything is okay.

  • Got an unexpected US today. I woke up with terrible shoulder pain and pelvic cramps so I had to go in to rule out ectopic.
Symptoms have not been like my other pregnancies so I’ve been very reserved with my feelings.

I am 6wk1d and gestational sac measured 6wks and there was a tiny, tiny toke sac. Too small to be measured. No fetal pole or heartbeat yet so my Dr. is cautious.

Started spotting very lightly. Waiting to hear back from my midwife on what, if anything, she thinks I should be doing.
  • @pricklepants @fuscok88 sending good vibes out to both of you and that you get some good news <3

Midwife did a blood draw Friday. Nothing was open to do an ultrasound because it’s a holiday weekend and was already after hours. HCG was within normal range but bleeding has increased all weekend peaking today with large clots. 2nd blood draw tomorrow. I expect it to confirm loss.
  • @fuscok88 I am so sorry to hear that! Sending supportive thoughts your way.

  • @fuscok88 I’m so sorry this is happening. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
  • @fuscok88 thinking of you. I'm sorry for what you are going through and am hoping for better news than you expect.

Saw my midwife this morning for the second blood draw. She asked if there were any other tests I wanted run for a bigger picture. I told her run whatever she thinks is best because I don’t even know what to ask for. She’s definitely checking HCG and progesterone, ladies who have been here before any advice on what, if anything, I might ask for? She also mentioned checking thyroid and iron levels in a few weeks when I’ve stopped bleeding.

  • @fuscok88 I think hCG, progesterone, and thyroid levels are the only things my doctor checked me for when I had bleeding during pregnancy. I bled through first and third trimester with DS1, with a few big bleeds in first trimester. It ended up being placenta previa that resolved itself late in 3rd trimester. I have everything crossed for good news for you.

  • @fuscok88 My thoughts and prayers are with you!
  • I guess I go here now too…. 😕

have been having intermittent brown discharge the last few days that I wasn’t super worried about, just noting…

but then today bright red blood when I wiped.

I’m on lovenox injections now, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s related to that. But I messaged my ob’s office (it’s after hours now) and I’m out of town til tomorrow evening. So I’m sure it’s just a watch and wait and cross our fingers that everything is okay situation. Not much I can do I presume. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@angelz429 - I had that with my son at one point, also on a blood thinner. Are you doing any suppositories or had intercourse recently? It’s terrifying but hopefully it’s nothing major - the blood thinner can make it seem worse.
