We have an 8yo son that is going to be a fantastic brother judging by how he’s taking care of his mama! We have a “hobby farm” with 3 dogs, 4 chickens, and a cranky tortoise. My husband and I both work for the same company that has allowed us to work from home even before the pandemic. I really enjoy crafting, especially crochet.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) ”Morning sickness” is no joke!!! I thought it was bad with my first, maybe 9 years made me forget! This is week 9 so hopefully we will be settling down soon. We are high risk and have to do lovenox injections twice a day, which isn’t the most fun. On the flip side high risk means we get lots of appointments to check on our little “jalapeño popper (JP)”. First appointment went well, strong heartbeat!

How did you find out? We did an FET mid May, 1st Beta came back pretty low, 2nd Beta only increased 59% (which is NOT good). But 3rd Beta came back great and saw the baby and had a heartbeat yesterday, so i'm embracing being pregnant!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been married for 7 years and have one other child from an FET who is almost 2. We love to do things outside (Kayaking, swimming, skiing, sledding...)
How are you feeling?(First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) No real symptoms yet, I guess you could count sore bum from PIO shots, but besides that, it's all a little "quiet" so far. Last pregnancy I puked until 17 weeks, so I'm hoping it isn't so bad but some nauseous would help me feel a little more confident. We've obviously had a lot of appointments and I have one more with the RE in two weeks. Emotionally happy and anxious.

How did you find out? Faint BFP at 16 dpo. I was concerned it took so long to get bfp, so dr confirmed with repeat blood test for hcg levels. Still nervous, that first appointment can’t come soon enough (next week-scheduled 8 wk +4)!

I work part time in office admin, it’s boring but the schedule can’t be beat. I love to craft and bake and binge watch shows and read, when I have time which is rare.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) physically I have low level nausea a lot of the time and extremely exhausted, but otherwise ok. Mentally is tougher for me, same with my 1st as I have some mental health issues and am off my meds to be pregnant. Biggest issue atm is a ton of anxiety. I will feel a lot better after that first appointment and the ultra sound, but patience is not something I’m very good at.

How did you find out? Just started trying and since I have no patience and was nearing my cycle date and my usual cramps weren’t present, I tested with an expired test and it was positive. Boobs were more tender than usual too. Had my husband pick up another test and got another positive. I kinda just had a hunch but when flo bounced for the month, that pretty much confirmed things (until my blood test).
Tell us about yourself: I have a 10 year old son, and have been married for just about 15 years. I work in Special Education, obsessed with kitties, roller derby athlete (well...pre-pandemic) and I love sewing and dabbling in all kinds of crafts. Oh yeah, I also like watching TV a lot.
How are you feeling? EXHAUSTED on a whole other level. I want to sleep all the time but then am up in the middle of the night off and on. I’ve been having the craziest dreams that leave me drenched in sweat so that’s been fun. Very tender boobs, but they’re better than they were the first few weeks. And the bloat...OMG THE BLOAT. We have our first appt. and ultrasound on the 14th and I am extremely nervous since I’m an older gal. Hoping to finally get some relief after seeing that heartbeat.

How are you feeling? Luckily, I feel okay, just really TIRED. I have a demanding job and I’ve been feeling sooo unmotivated and distracted. I’ve had two appointments and two ultrasounds already (my first U/S was too early to get an accurate due date). So far so good. *fingers crossed*

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I recently did my NIPT and nuchal translucency ultrasound as well as 12 week checkup. I had moderate morning sickness (without puking) from weeks 6/7-10, with the 10th week being the absolute worst. Oh, and NO ONE ever tells you how much gas you'll have in those first few weeks! Emotionally, I was great up until last week or so, now I get irritable easily and feel like I have a constant case of PMS. Fun times!

How did you find out? I was a few days late so I took a test. I was fully expecting it to be negative but wanted to drink some wine that night, so I took the test. I was in shock when I got an immediate positive!

I've been married to my husband for 14 years on 7/27. I'm going to guess that I am the oldest in the group at age 41, which is part of the reason why it was such a shock!
I've had a few ultrasounds and the baby is looking great! I got the results of the MaterniT21 test the other day and was relieved to hear that the results are negative. (I was super nervous about it, given my age) We're not going to find out the sex, which they could have told me too. I was very nauseous the first 12 weeks or so but I've been feeling better lately. I'm still very tired though and my anxiety has been pretty bad. I hope the further along I get the less anxious I feel.
How did you find out? DH and I had been trying for almost a year to get pregnant so I was tracking my period hard. The first day I was able to take a test, I did.

If I could, I would spend every free moment reading in my hammock or at the sitting on the beach.

The nausea hasn't been that bad this pregnancy (it was REALLY bad with DD) but the round ligament pain has been so crazy. I don't even remember getting this with DD but now it's a few times a day I'm doubled over (especially if I move suddenly or sneeze).
How did you find out? We had been trying for 10 months, so I took a test right before the brunch we planned for Mother’s Day (a day before my expected period). Very faint line, just over three weeks.
Tell us about yourself. We had planned our wedding for April 2020. That got cancelled due to Covid. The July date did too. We got married in the backyard in November 2020. We are in our late thirties and this is our first marriage and child. We have my 13 year old ornery cat. I am a principal. We feel blessed to have been able to get pregnant… and pushed our “big” wedding back to June 2020 lol.
How are you feeling? I didn’t become active on here until after all the first screenings came back showing the baby is healthy. Having a geriatric pregnancy brings a whole set of worries I wasn’t expecting. Had some morning sickness but switched my diet to eat every 2-3 hours and that maintained it. Just finished the first trimester and feeling energized and less need to eat often. Overall, not complaining!

How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My whole first trimester was a breeze. I only had super exhaustion, & minor waves of nausea. Not morning sickness. Second trimester is a new world for me. I feel so ditsy, I am super clumsy (I went to the ER after a fall now i’m in a boot!) my migraines or horrible, and my mood is all over the place. I am so emotional it’s annoying actually lol. My first appointment was at 12 weeks or so I thought I was, turns out I was actually 13 almost 14. I got blood work done for well the routine stuff & I also opted for the genetic screening for chromosomal abnormalities & hopefully the gender! Nothing is really back yet on that front. Besides that I am having a healthy pregnancy so far.

How did you find out? Well I didn't find out until I was 11 weeks because I've been on birth control for 9 years. I felt extremely tired in June and as the month came to an end I realized I didn't get a period. Took a test on my lunch break to make sure and it was positive. Took three more that night all were positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 30 and had my first child 10 years ago so this is really crazy to me. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and have one son. I also have a step-daughter who lives with me full time. We both work in local government. I love reading when I get a chance and I'm a pretty good cook.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first appointment was July 9, 2021. Just extremely tired all the time. Once 3PM hits I struggle to keep my eyes open. Feeling pretty anxious supposed to get my NIPT results this week. Have many visits to maternal fetal medicine because of chronic kidney disease, but kidney function is great so that's a plus.

Thanks @Lisa3379 my husband and I were both shocked, but here we are. I literally had no symptoms besides feeling tired but I thought it was from my COVID shot until I didn't get a period. My son is 9 and step-daughter is 14 so this is going to be a huge age gap. They were both really excited though and have been helping me a lot so it's really sweet. I had already been on an extremely health diet due to my kidneys so at least I know that I was treating my body good even though I didn't know I was pregnant.

How did you find out? We started planning start of this year(2021) and I was super excited as my next menstrual date was approaching in May 20th. So I've been testing and testing and testing... a week before and there the stick turned "Pregnant" on May 19th 7.05 am. I was super gassy and my breasts hurt like hell the week before, I never felt that way and I thought that was the cue and I was super duper excited for the stick to turn. Although the first test was disappointing but the second one was exciting, confusing(because I was waiting n waiting for the stick to turn BUTTTT I don't know what in the world to do after the stick turns)...

Primary Symptoms I faced were nausea, mild headache, excessive gassiness and OMG I can't tell you how terrible was my breast tenderness. Emotionally it's a roller coaster , I feel happy suddenly, start crying unnecessarily, moody mostly. So that's how my mood train has been going.
